What's disturbing is that the tooltip on Battle.net character profile says increases strength by 193 for 10 seconds. I hope that's not the case.

This trinket is really, really good. It is especially valuable if you have bad luck at getting any trinkets from heroic dungeons, LFR, and regular raids. It is well worth the money if used properly (obvious but true), and you might miss it's on-use function when you finally switch it out for a "better" trinket.

As with any on-use DPS trinket, its prime strength is that it activates when YOU want it to. So capitalize on this by using it alongside big cool downs for some huge DPS increases. Used in this manner, it may be more valuable than higher item level trinkets with procs (uncontrollable and random activations) depending on the boss encounters, etc. Hence, the "apples vs. oranges" argument of on-use trinkets and proc trinkets.

This trinket grants you a lot more strength than other trinkets higher in item level (not all of them) but at a more limited duration. So, it makes sense to make maximum use of this trinket by activating it when you're at your "peak" of strength.

Example: As a Retribution Paladin, try this on boss fights for a big increase in DPS:

1. Have Inquisition active (should be on at all times, anyway).
2. Cast Guardian of Ancient Kings and build up your stack of 20 Ancient Power with it (~10 seconds).
3. Have Avenging Wrath active or activate it now. (When you activate it depends on your current gear/tier talent setup).
4. Use Daelo's Final Words.
5. Cast Execution Sentence with all the above still active.
6. Check out your huge increase in DPS.

Stroll by your local auction house. You may be surprised at how much mileage you get out of it, especially if you happen across one at an affordable price.

Just informing of a missing mob in your list that drops this item. I retrieved this item from a Silkfeather Hawk very recently and it isn't listed anywhere nor is the item listed under the mobs drops here on wowhead.
