As a part of the on-going evaluation of Looking For Raid and the loot system, we have recently implemented a change to the Looking For Raid Need Plus system. Weapons, trinkets, rings, neck pieces, shields, offhand items, and the Robe of Glowing Stone are now class-restricted to their intended users. With the speed at which a Raid Finder group moves through a zone, we’ve found that it makes it challenging for players to evaluate loot decisions – by class restricting these items, we hope that the natural behavior will have a more positive set of results for everyone involved. This change will not apply to normal or heroic raid or dungeon loot rules.

When it says "Unique-Equipped: Will of Unbinding (1)", I'm assuming you cannot use both the LFR version and the normal or heroic version at the same time in the two different trinket slots? E.g. so you have both the 390 and the 403 version equiped simultaniously?

This trinket is amazing, it provides 78 intellect (which means about 90 mana, 0.13% crit and 81 SP) for each harmful spell you cast on any target for 10 seconds. That means any damage spell, DOT, debuff, dispell will give you a stack of 78 intellect, up to a max of 780 intellect. On most fights, you'll be keeping a full stack just be keeping your normal rotation or wiping trash/adds. But it just lasts 10 seconds, so don't stop casting. xD
As a Shadow Priest, I just wish DOT ticks and channeled ticks could keep it up. But that would be so broken, haha.

As a fire mage, this is a great trinket. Every dot that ticks keeps this thing pegged at +780 intellect. I thought it was a mistake(and it might be), but I'm crit'ing all over the place with a huge jump in intellect that just stays there. I like this trinket more than the other higher ilvl trinkets out there.

From a Warlock point of view:

Firstly, the effect of this trinket procs from spell cast hits rather than damage.

One stack instantly procs from each application or reapplication of a DoT such as Immolate, Unstable Affliction, Corruption or Bane of Agony/Doom. It doesn't proc from the damage of these DoTs.

Cast time damaging spells such as Shadow Bolt, Incinerate, Soul Fire, Searing Pain or Haunt proc one stack each time they hit a target.

It procs one stack upon beginning a channel of Drain Soul or Drain Life but doesn't continue stacking from the damage of these channels.

Every tick of Rain of Fire on every target hit procs one stack of the trinket (ie, if Rain of Fire is channelled over three targets, three stacks will be applied everytime those targets take a tick from Rain of Fire).

Seed of Corruption procs one stack when the seed first hits a target but doesn't gain any more stacks from DoT damage or detonation damage - even when the detonation is empowered from Soulburn.

Hellfire doesn't proc the trinket by cast or damage.

Shadowflame procs one stack per target hit by the instant damage but doesn't proc any further stacks by the DoT damage.

Death Coil, Fel Flame and Shadowburn proc one stack every time they hit a target.

Soul Swap and Soul Swap Exhale both proc one stack each when used.

Immolation Aura and Demonic Leap don't proc the trinket.

Curses do not proc the trinket.

If any of the spells mentioned above that cause a proc miss their target, they do not cause a proc.

as an Afflock, i picked this trinket up, and during my Execute phase, i actually had this buff fall off. not sure what the deal was but yeah e.e

Is anyone else wondering why the Contained In tab lists two separate Greater Cache of the Aspects? One says 28% drop rate, the other says 18%. I thought perhaps one was 10 man and one was 25, but that's not the case. Each Cache has tabs for 10, 25, normal and heroic, and those numbers are different and don't look right.

After many moons of queueing as DPS, I can finally confirm that this works with Smite, Holy Fire and (offensive) Penance. The latter sometimes adds two stacks and sometimes three; I imagine this is because it can only add about one stack per second.
