Interestingly enough, this robe comes in really handy for arenas while you are gathering your epic pvp items.

Socket it with stamina gems, ench it with 275 health and it will give you nice 2800hp buff as well as frost res vs those nasty frost mages, which is really competitive vs the small resilience buff youll get from blue pvp robe.

Interestingly, this robe and the rest of the frost resist lvl 80 from resist items (excluding the ring) are all called "glacial X" as the lvl 60 versions such as http://www.wowhead.com/?item=23032 for the cloth.
Similar naming occurs with leather, mail and plate respectively.

While it may be situational in PVE, this robe shines for a tailor (or any clothie, really) just hitting 80 for PVP. There are many items to purchase with honor for the fresh PVPing 80 like the furious 5 pc set, wrathful off-set non-rating items, and shoulder chant, for example. This robe is a great item that allows you to gear up in pvp epics, and not have to worry about your chest piece all that much right away. Being stam heavy helps a lot, and while the frost resistance may seem like an unusual stat at first, you have to realize that in the battlegrounds (or even starting arenas) one of the biggest threats and annoyances is, and has always been, frost.

After plethora's of frost mages shattering you for 12k, DK's spamming their LOLchains, and "FROSTSHOCK!" shams hitting you in the face, 115 resist starts looking REALLY great for avoiding some of that stuff right off the bat.

Hey guys!

Well i think the 冰川長袍 is a awesome piece of cloth!
Thats why i used it for my trasmog set.
I just posted my screenshot. Im the female gnome mage!

I used the following items :

For my head i used : 領地之帽 wich you can get from 合法的回收 in 虛空風暴.

Shoulders : 秘法狂怒肩鎧 wich drops from 看護者卡爾古瑪 in 地獄火壁壘

The cloak i use : 普勞德摩爾披風 wich you can get from 叛逃者的末日 in 塵泥沼澤

Ofcourse i use 冰川長袍 for the chest! hehe

Not using any bracers since you dont see them at all .

Then for the Gloves : 暴雨之觸手套 wich you can get from 逃離敦霍爾德 in 希爾斯布萊德丘陵舊址
(dont worry you only see the hand part so the ugly gold isn't visible)

For waist i use 冰川腰環 wich can be made with tailor 420

Then for the Feet : 冰川軟靴 Wich can be made with tailor 420

I want to transmog this on my frost mage... but with the new system, it now says I have the item (so it is saved to my transmog chest items) but I cannot find it. Using search, there is nothing with glacial in the name, looking through the chest items I cannot seem to find it, does anyone else know if it might have been placed under another name?
