I have only run out of mana in an arena.. ONCE. Out of hundreds of fights in 2,3,and 5man. Why? Because I didn't bother putting my watershield up, i was getting drained by a priest, and i wasn't forced to hit Rage the whole fight. 8 seconds later I was half mana.
MP/5 on Enhance shaman gear is absurd. Every single web site says the exact same thing. WE DO NOT NEED MORE MANA REGEN!!!
Remove it and put Expertise, more crit, more Strength, more stamina, heck even more Hit Rating, raw dodge, or frikkin Parry, at least it would be more useful than MP/5.
Please see all previous posts by every Enhance Shaman ever on all gear sites involving MP/5.

When Season 4 begins, Season 3 items will be reduced in personal and team arena rating requirement to:

Shoulders: 1950
Weapon: 1800

The new Season 4 items will have the following personal and team arena rating requirements:

Shoulders: 2200
Weapon: 2050
Head: 1700
Chest: 1600
Legs: 1550
Gloves: None
Off-hand: None

The honor gear that will be released with Season 4 will also carry rating restrictions on select pieces of equipment:

Boots: 1700
Ring: 1650
Bracers: 1575
Belt: None
Necklace: None
Trinket: None

The Season 2 items will replace the Season 1 items for purchase by honor, and will carry no rating requirements

Not to be petty, but MP5 literally means Mana Per 5 - hence, it already includes the / (which means per). Typing MP/5 is like typing Mana Per Per 5 :p

Also, hit rating isn't that useful in PvP. We get all we need from talents really, with the exception of mages with frozen winds (I think that's the name of the talent - the 5% bonus anyway), managing to sneak 1% misses from us on special attacks. While it will improve your white damage output when dualwielding, it won't help your windfury, stormstrike nor shock damage at all - a higher attack power doesn't just increase those three, but also the white damage output, giving a far greater boon than hit rating ever could.

Disregarding that, I agree with you. MP5 is bloody useless.
