From a raiding Warlock point of view, this is awesome. 20 strength equals 40 attackpower, in combat under the effect of demonic frenzy it is 60 attackpower however, which is about 4.5 DPS.

The spirit is neglectable, the only problem is that most encounters require you to use Sporeling snack (20 stamina) for your pet to have a chance to survive the entire fight.

It also affects Feral Spirit, although only one of your wolves gets the buff, no matter how much of these you feed them.

I have tested this with several different characters.

This buff works for unholy Death Knights ghoul.
This buff works for Warlock pets
This buff works for Hunter pets
This buff DOES NOT work for a PLAYER mind controlled but DOES work for non-players mind controlled. (Priest mind control)
This buff works for ANYTHING that has "PET" and not "guardian" or "Minion"

Rumor has it that the strength stat on this will be converted to spirit in the 3.1.

EDIT: Instead of the strenght stat converted to spirit, the stamina and strenght have been lowered to 20 in patch 3.1.

Why didn't they just restore the item's old effect, which was a strength/stam buff?

If they wanted to keep it from being overvalued in raids, they could always make it act as a Well Fed buff attached to the hunter (meaning it wouldn't stack with agility food).

Buzzard Meat:
Easy farm. Bird brains below Honor Hold spawn quick enough that you will stay busy the entire time. Took about 15 minutes to acquire 100 of em.

Also worth mentioning is that the buff itself persists through despawning. I threw it on my felguard and then switched to my other pets one by one to see how big they'd get and then went back to my felguard and he still was huge.

Of interest, the size boost from this STACKS with time warp, unlike most size increases. I do wish they'd make the buff last an hour like the player well fed buffs though. I happen to like the increased size of my water elemental, it matches the size difference of worgen vs human.

For classes without pets, that are trying to eat this for 吃過的食物 ...
It is possible to use "Pet" items such as 暴力粉碎賽車控制器.
If you summon the "Pet" and then target the pet, then use the your 基布雷爾的零嘴 it will give you credit.

The other food item that this method applies to is 辣味長毛象美饌.

Sadly, even as of the Shadowlands Pre-patch. This only works on your main pet for Beast Mastery hunters, and not the 2nd pet that comes out from the stable when you take the level 15 "Animal Companion" talent. Hopefully Blizz fixes this at some point.
