As an Arms Warrior, I'm not sure I'd switch from my Mercilesss Greatsword to this, even for PvE. The haste is nice and so is the AP, as well as the higher damage range.......but I'm not sure it's worth losing 18 hit and 42 crit. I guess if it drops I'll get it and try it out, but I am skeptical that it will perform better.

Now, take off the 49 stam and use those 32 stat points towards crit and/or armor pen and this would be a very sexy PvE sword.

Just thought this was kind of interesting as my guild was doing some mount runs in ZG that when I went back to the Zandalarr tribe to turn in the rep stuff that this sword has just one letter different than one of the npc's on the island his name is Jin'rokh, just a little tidbit

I just got this sword last night, and with no other haste rating, the 45 haste it gives brings it down from 3.70 speed to exactly 3.60

Surprised no one has mentioned this yet. This is obviously the TBC version of Zin'rokh, Destroyer of Worlds, a 2H sword which drops in Zul'gurub, a 20 man raid instance also filled with trolls.

As can be seen in Wowiki page for Zandali (the troll language), Jin means Leader, Zin means Destroyer and Rohk means End of World(s) (ie. "Apocalypse").

If you honestly believe that Blood Frenzy does not bring enough benefit to the raid to warrant taking up a slot, your guild is still probably stuck in Tier 5 content at this point.

Whilst i agree that Blood Frenzy is great for a 25man raid, this weapon drops in a 10man.
With 5 dpsers, you're likely to have only 1 melee dps, maybe 2, and as such, the 4% physical damage does not give that much of a benefit to the raid; fury is far superior for 10mans.

I believe a retadin will get better use with this than an arms warrior,and retadins bring so much more to a raid than an arms warrior does,wow arms brings 4% more dmg,ret brings 3% more crit can increase dmg by 2%,and they can keep up all three seals. Maybe if you weren't blind you'd notice arms warrior just are in raids because the raid cant a better class for the spot.

Can anyone comment on Jin'Rohk Vs. Stormherald for raid DPS.
As a mainly PvP oriented warrior I use Stormherald, however when I do raid I like to be preforming at my best.

So can anyone spare some time to show us, or suggest which one is superior please?

Just a little observation I made - I just happened to notice that Jin'rohk has almost exactly twice the DPS as Zin'rohk. That is all.

Maybe with the patch 3.0 Stormherald would be better with mace spec because its Spec bonus now give 15% of Armor reduce of your enemy.

Simply on a raidboss which had around 8k Armor:

1200 Armor Reduce + Sunder Armor and Feary fire..

Thats a nice amount and a nicely dmg Boost :)

I have a blood Dk that has this sword, and the Battleworn Tuskguard. Together since people make me tank to get in a group at all,these two pieces are pretty nice for a 73 dk. I've had pallies walk up "Where the f**k did you get this and that?" So, to all the pallies out there that want em' , go get em. thank God for Guild runs lol

Although i tend to tank more with the Axe od Frozen Death more than thins, i tend to use this as my pve wep. =] Any ideas on how to get a better weapon(s) or what to go with would be appreciated for 80! TY

According to the new Patch 4.1 on PTR the whole raid will be replaced by a new 85 level 5 man HC Dungeon. Jin'rohk will be removed permanently.

By the gods of transmogrification... If I had known this sword existed, I would have farmed it until Cata revamped Zul'Aman. Now one more awesome model "lost". Such a shame.
Even with Vengeful Gladiator's Greatsword still in the game, the black sword is just a shadow of the much cooler looking Jin'rokh!

I have this weapon on my Death Knight still, I had my best friend running me through it while i was attempting to twink her at lvl 70. It never worked out, but I am still really glad i got this weapon before it got removed. Zin'rohk is not the same. Its not as cool or unique. Do any of you have Zin'rohk? I doubt it.

I actually remember when they announced the ZA/ZG revamp, I farmed this sword before its removal, not knowing Transmogrification would become a thing half a year later. I also didn't know Zandalari trolls would become playable 8 years later, let alone them being able to be paladins. Another thing I did not know is that I would actually main a zandalari paladin almost a decade later.
All I knew is I really wanted this sword. So I went and got it.

Now I am a Zandalari Paladin with this sword in 2025. It's my favorite item in the game and I will prob never unmog it.

This comment isn't meant as a flex or w/e, like in 5 years of me maining pala only 1 person ever recognized it anyway.
Just me remeniscing and wanting to encourage people to follow their gut, always.
