Zul'Gurub High Priest Venoxis High Priestess Jeklik High Priestess Mar'li High Priest Thekal High Priestess Arlokk Hakkar the Soulflayer Optional Bloodlord Mandokir & Ohgan Edge of Madness Gahz'ranka Jin'do the Hexxer Zul'Gurub is a 20-man raid instance located in northeastern Stranglethorn Vale. It is the capital of the jungle troll tribes, led by the Gurubashi, worshippers of their terrible god, Hakkar the Soulflayer, who even now inhabits a temple in the deepest parts of the city. He is guarded by the inhabitants of Zul'Gurub and his five high priests, each of which represents one of the bloodlord's aspects. Like Zul'Farrak, it counts as an outdoor zone, and riding on mounts is possible. The Zandalar Tribe seeks the help of players to enter Zul'Gurub and defeat Hakkar, and rewards those who venture into the jungle city with increasingly powerful armor sets and items. Hakkar and the Aspects The high priests of Zul'Gurub (Venoxis, Jeklik, Mar'li, Thekal and Arlokk) all assume an animal form at some point when fighting them. Moreover, if they are left alive they grant Hakkar powerful abilities that make him much harder to kill. This is in contrast to other bosses who do not assume animal forms and do not give Hakkar any abilities.
