I'm shocked at how similar this item is to the T5 counterpart... Most of the other T6 pieces are significant upgrades, but this one really isn't. The changes are:

-4 stam
+4 int
+2 spirit
+14 healing
blue socket instead of yellow
+9 healing socket bonus instead of 2mp5

So... the blue socket is a little nicer than the yellow one, but the socket bonus on avatar blows absolution's out of the water. It seems like this helm is a pretty minor upgrade over the Avatar one, which is sort of a shame for loot coming from Archimonde.

What you see when you ctrl+click it, is a huge aura behind your head, which is soooo cool; but when you equip it, you will feel like being fooled by Blizzard.

I would say that Cowl of Light's Purity is a little better than this one. If you'd compare them you would see that Cowl of Light's Purity grants fairly more stats and healing. And if you throw in a Teardrop Crimson Spinel (or a Kailee's Rose if you're a jewelcrafter) the T6 gem bonus would be far surpassed.
