Just obtained these off the prince, great helm.

I will most likely fill the meta socket with an insightful earthstorm diamond(http://www.wowhead.com/?item=25901). This will bring upwards of 7mp/5 on average, plus the 2 from the royal nightseye(http://www.wowhead.com/?item=24057), and 5 from the helm itself brings it up to a nice 14mp/5

and the gems plus socket bonus bumps it up to 82 +healing.

Combo in the great stats and this is one hell of a helm for a healing priest

P.S. Another bonus of the revered thrallmar enchant, Glyph of Renewal (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=29190)
brings this helm to a whopping 117 +healing, and 21mp/5!
Add on those stats and this is unbelievable for healing!

The healing meta gem (bracing e-diamond http://www.wowhead.com/?item=25897) requirements for the colors of other gems in your set make it horrendous for gear before SSC/TK. This is because the healing meta-gem requires few/no blue gems, which absolutely gimps your mana regen and, more importantly, your stamina.

I agree with getting the insightful e-diamond because it is effectively more mana regen (the +12 int on the insightful is not as important as the mana-return proc IMO).

I put the Mystical Skyfire Diamond in the headpiece. Did this to test it out, and damn... now i cant remove the gem because i love it.

This helm is a very large upgrade over the Hallowed Crown or the Headdress of the High Potentate from Chess. It is better in every way than the Hallowed Crown.

Compared to the Headdress, it has less stam, int, and spirit, but +6 mp5, a blue socket, a meta socket, and equivalent healing with the socket bonus.
