Assassination legs was a bitch for me to get, im 2k from exalted with lower city and still havent seen them drop. So i gave up and got these instead. There only 0,5aep behind Assassination legs anyway....
However. I would recommend that u go for Assassination legs instead, since they ARE better and SHOULD have a pretty decent drop rate, and they have a much better set bonus (i took 4 other parts for set bonus and skipped legs).
But if ur as unlucky as me and cant get them to drop... Take these. It's not a big step down.

You only get the setbonus if ur a leather worker, but the setbonus sucks anyways...

This is a great money maker item. Grind the Artifact Seekers in Netherstorm for mats as they drop Knothide Leather, Fel Hide and Motes of Shadow (as well as Marks of Sargeras). Easy mats to grind and the leggings have been selling for 100-110 gold on my realm.

Oh, BTW. Got my Assassination Leggings on my first run :P

I believe this set and Primal Intent (complementary, so wear both!) would be fantastic for a Cat druid heading to Kara/Gruul. The sockets allow for customization and, unlike the Assassination set, the set bonus is fairly generic. Yes, I know... druids do not benefit as much from Dodge Rating as they do from Agility->Dodge, but at least it's not a rogue-centric bonus :)

This is some great +hit gear for cheap (well, relatively cheap)

Socketed with 2 Rigid Dawnstone and 1 Glinting Noble Topaz (blue quality gems), enchanted with Cobrahide Leg Armor, these leggings come out to:

249 Armor
+4 AGI
+35 Critical Hit
+45 Hit Rating
+100 Attack Power

Quite impressive.

Very high quality leggings for an enhancement shaman as well. These are probably the best leggings you can get pre-raid and they are craftable at level 69!
