I found this pet by using 巡邏火炬 's extra action ability ( 展示聖光 ) at coordinates 64.1, 31.5 in Hallowfall. I bought the torch for 5x 輻光殘骸 from 約瓦斯‧燧擊 , who is summoned by lighting the Lesser Keyflame at his location.

I found mine with the torch at 6:51 am EST around /way 65, 33. You will lose the torch if you die, so be mindful of what you pull (I was also in war mode, so easier to have it off). Thankfully, it's not that expensive to purchase a new one.

Found at 61, 28. I did not have a torch, I was controlling the golem for the daily quest (or weekly, idk). When I used the ability to jump for the termites to come out than you burn them, I noticed after jumping there was an interactable which was the pet. Could of been there before I jumped and I just didn't notice.

Unlike the 神聖微光螢, you cannot spot the Nightfarm Growthling from 30 yards away. You have to walk over it, almost.
Maybe this is because of the light source I’m using (火花蟲罐子), not sure.

The flickering flame holder also works, it's cheaper, and its 60 minute buff doesn't go away if you leave the area.

i just got mine with the sparkbug jar from Taerry bilgestone /way 65.77 24.41 for 2 Radiant remnant. Then going through all the fields till it finally spotted one at /way 65.14 33.55.
had used 45 minutes of my SparkBug buff when it showed up.

When just standing in a field (waiting for a rare), I saw this spawning and glowing from very far away (around 100 yards or so). I wasn't using a torch or whatever other thing. I didn't even know it existed, so a happy surprise to get this pet.

Has anyone been able to find multiple of this pet on a single toon?

I don't know if anyone else can confirm, but I never could find multiples in the same day which is what made me make this post originally. I don't think you can get multiples in the same day at least. I'm not sure about multiples in the same week though as I found all 3 of mine in separate weekly resets.

So I actually saw it pretty early on, then it glitched and I couldn't loot it. I was super sad and spent another 20-30 minutes flying around looking for it.
Now I just found it in my mailbox. So if you have something similar happen, check your mailbox, don't waste your time looking for it again.

Found at 64.13, 61.47 after using the patrol torch. It was MUCH smaller than I expected and I almost missed it.

Just to be clear, after using your torch, you're looking for the Nightfarm Growthling to appear within a semi-close radius, and you will then be able to interact with it. Doing so will loot it and put it in your bag. It is not a pet that is suddenly going to appear or that you will have to battle.
I tried a few of the locations that others left in the comments before I finally found one that had it.
