Brazier of Invocation is a special permanent summoning item that you receive upon finishing the 0.5 armor upgrade questline. You can use it as many times as you like to re-summon all of the bosses that you were required to defeat while working on it, in addition to the ones that your class in particular did not require to defeat. These bosses include:

If you went through all the trouble of getting this from tier 0.5 quest line, you might want to hold on to it as you will not be able to get it again if you destroy it for bag space.

If you're thinking of beginning the tier 0.5 questline here are a list of mats you'll need along the way to get the brazier. They're in the order you'll need them:

Tier 0 Gear (Wrist to start , then later: Gloves+Belt, Boots+Legs+Shoulders. You won't need Head or Chest pieces as you hand them in after this quest)
1x Delicate arcanite converter
4x Greater Eternal Essence
10x Stonescale Oil
~5x Goblin Rocket Fuel (may need more)
1x Fel Elemental Rod (Vi'el )
3x Dark Iron Bar
20x Enchanted Leather
3x Mooncloth
4x Cured Rugged Hide
~4x Dark Rune (more if creating beckoning stones)
~9x Large Brilliant Shard (plus extra for summoning medallions if you fail to summon Duke of Cinders, one of 3, sorry 4 elemental Dukes, thank you Lieandra :P )
~4x Twilight Trappings (Head, Chest, Legs: may need more as consumed in summoning one of the Dukes)

After talking with a gm about it, indeed jarien and sothos have been removed from the game, them being much higher level than the cataclysm version of stratholme, their loots as well of course(bye bye ironweave suit, *collector's tears* at least finished upgrading my dungeon set in time :>)

Isalien however can be indeed summoned, along the other bosses as droper stated above. The gm claimed that they have been a bit "inconsistent" in removing them...

I'd really like if they made the Brazier of Invocation account bound.

Since so few players and characters still got the item, it would be aswsome if the brazier was made account bound, so we could use it on our alts (who's actually going the bosses in the areas.)

Summoned Lord Valthalak and Mor Grayhoof yesterday on Grim Batol PvP EU, using my 90 priest who's got the brazier, but since its possible to be 10 people in UBRS and you can invite people with Friend ID, i came on my lvl 60 Shaman after summoning, and we had a great lore run through UBRS and LBRS. Not too long ago (during MoP) i also did Isalien in Dire Maul East, a 2,5 tier geared rogue still had some issues with her, but he made it at last. Kormok has now been removed from the game, since the reconstruction of Scholomance, so Kormok and the since long removed pair Jarien and Sothos in Stratholme are no longer available. But the other 3 along with Theldren in Ring of Law, BRD can be summoned, provided you have Banner of Provocation for Theldren ofcourse, 2 well geared T2-2,5 Paladins had trouble with Korv and the crew, all those bosses do have some nice transmog gear btw.

It should also be noted, that they have increased the health of all trash in UBRS, and Lord Valthalak seems to count as trash, he went from 105k health, to 286k after MoP i think. I dont mind it, makes it more challenging and fun.

Many people say you shouldnt hold on to the past in World of Warcraft, but those bosses do bring something extra even nowadays, the guys i went with really appreciated to see the forgotten lore, they never would have known about otherwize.

So making the Brazier account bound would be great.

I do doubt anyone with the authority to make it account bound read this, since no one care for the old vanilla lore anyway, atleast not Blizzard, but there are many players that do care, more then they might think!.

Greetings! The means to obtain this item was removed a long time ago, as it was part of the T0.5 quest line. If you are searching for someone with this item to summon the bosses for xmog purposes, please find the Horde character "Nazthori" on the US realm Emerald Dream.

I have both the banner and the brazier, and can summon these bosses for you.

Edit: Updated realm. I xferred. Staying here for a long time to come.

Edit 2: I haven't played in over a year and likely will not be returning. You'll have to find someone else with the item. Sorry.

With Warlords of Draenor's revamped UBRS it is unfortunately no longer possible to summon 瓦薩拉克領主. :(

We're now down to 莫爾‧灰蹄 in LBRS, and 依薩利恩 in Dire Maul. Once/if these bosses are eventually also removed, then this ancient relic no longer has any functional purpose left.

Update: Jarien/Sothos and Kormok can once again be summoned following the 10.1.5 patch update.

Update: Lord Valthalak a can once again be summoned following the 11.0 patch update.

As of this posting, only 2 of the original 5 encounters are still available. I personally went around and checked each zone to confirm.

Jarien/Sothos, Kormok, and Lord Valthalak can no longer be summoned due to zone revamps. I tried using the Brazier in the correct areas, and also checked other areas around each zone with no success.

Isalien can still be summoned. You summon her in DM East in the same area as Alzzin the Wildshaper. She can drop:
- Boots of Ferocity
- Hammer of Revitalization
- Huntsman's Harpoon
- Ironweave Gloves

Mor Grayhoof can still be summoned. You summon him in LBRS in the same room as War Master Voone. He can drop:
- Belt of the Trickster
- Ironweave Belt
- The Jaw Breaker
- Tome of Divine Right

Some of these items have unique models which makes them valuable to people wanting to collect tmog items. If you still have your Brazier, make sure to hold on to it!

I have Brazier of Invocation. Message Runasutaru on Wildhammer-EU if you're on the Alliance side and wish to get any of the items exclusive to the two bosses — 依薩利恩 and 莫爾‧灰蹄 — that can still be summoned with it. I also have access to Banner of Provocation if you need any items from the arena.

I was thinking of creating this thread out of comment replies here, to see if others were interested in the unobtainable transmog items from this NPC.

As of patch 10.1.5, 祈願火盆 will work now in the "old" Scholomance to summon 科爾莫克 in 萊斯‧霜語's room, but he does NOT drop a 侵略者的天譴石.

This item is now usable in new Stratholme, in Balnazzar's room in The Crimson Throne in the Live side, to summon 索索斯 and 賈林. Previous to 10.1.5 it required being in the old Stratholme from pre-Cata times, which didn't exist any more.

The War Within Pre-patch. My character that did the questline pre-cata, went to Tanaris and got Extra-Dimensional Ghost Revealer back from Mux Manascrambler and with that went to see Bodley in front of Blackrock Spire, he restored my Brazier of Invocation! Afterwards went to check at Falrin Treeshaper in Dire Maul Library and sure enough, he had the dialogue option to restore the Banner of Provocation, which worked straight away.

Went to check all locations and was able to summon and kill every boss EXCEPT Lord Valthalak in UBRS since the old UBRS doesn't exist. I assume there is a tiny chance that if you were somehow able to go to LBRS and glitch your way into the old UBRS area from within the instance boundaries somehow, Lord Valthalak might be possible to summon, but there's very little chance of that happening.

EDIT!: Thanks to the tip from user zapurr I went to check it out and indeed, it is possible to get to UBRS from within LBRS, from the ledge right above the instance portal. I first went to check on my demon hunter since they have the easiest way to get there, naturally though, demon hunters didn't exist when the quests were available so I went back with my warlock who had the Brazier. I did a lot of trial and error, trying to use slow fall and burning rush shenanigans, but salvation came with Demonic Gateway. If you try to use it on top of the ramp right of the entrance, you will get error messages like "you can't use that here" "out of line of sight" etc. but if you aim at the back wall, behind the ledge, you can cast Demonic Gateway no problem. So if your class that you have the summoning item on isn't a warlock or can't otherwise make the jump, bring a warlock with you! That also means if you have multiple people with you, it makes it the easiest to get everyone over. And the holy grail is that Lord Valthalak is in fact summonable once again, in the same room he is and was in Classic!
