You can only get five 虹彩礦石碎片 and one 虹彩礦石 per character per week. Resets with the normal weekly reset.
You can only get a certain amount of 虹彩礦石碎片, and the remaining number you can still get for the week can be seen in the profession window when selecting this entry (just called Iridescent Ore) under the section called Appendix I - Boundless Knowledge, it will show as the last line of text on the right. Resets with the normal weekly reset.
All nodes can drop the 虹彩礦石碎片, including elemental nodes, Titan-touched and Infuriated nodes.
虹彩礦石 is essentially the last 虹彩礦石碎片 you can get for the week. So when you get the 虹彩礦石, that means you will no longer get any 虹彩礦石碎片 or 虹彩礦石 on this character for this week.
Primal nodes drop the 元素充能之石.
Molten nodes drop the 炙熱礦石樣本.
Hardened nodes drop the 堅固的石塊.
There appears to be no weekly limit on 元素充能之石, 炙熱礦石樣本 or 堅固的石塊, though they have a significantly smaller drop chance compared to 虹彩礦石碎片 and likely do not drop from Titan-Touched, Infuriated, Rich and normal nodes.
元素充能之石, 炙熱礦石樣本 and 堅固的石塊 all seem to share the same journal entry in the profession window, that being the entry for 元素充能之石.

Consider these shouldn't have a limit on drops they seems to be very limited or atleast bugged somehow. Each weekly reset I get a single drop from the first elemental node I mine and thats it.

Hello all Farmers, these are needed for the upcoming achievements in 10.1.7

I've farmed countless hours on my already mining/herbing druid in DF and i just couldn't find an 灌能花粉 or 元素充能之石
And i remembered having already looted these on my druid.
Now i can't say for sure if you can't loot more than X amount.
But what i can tell you is that i made my other 70 character miner (Freshly made miner)
Went with full perception enchant/accessories - Perception talents and i looted 元素充能之石 when i was only 65 mining. From a normal Serevite Node (Not even a rich one)
As for the 灌能花粉 i looted that at lvl 100 herbalism from a normal Hochen herb, but i just barely hit 100 herbalism on it.
This didn't take that long compared to the multiple days i spent farming on my main farmer.

I only had +24 in Mining process as the only Proffesion knownledge talents.

Final edit: I finally got it. I am now convinced - based on other comments and my own experience - that the 炙熱礦石樣本 and 堅固的石塊 are completely independent from the 元素充能之石, despite sharing an entry in the mining journal. The method I outlined below works for getting 炙熱礦石樣本 and 堅固的石塊, but not for 元素充能之石 - for this you need to first get all of your 虹彩礦石碎片 and 虹彩礦石 for the week, and then keep going and eventually you will get the 元素充能之石 from a finesse proc (it took me almost 100 nodes and many finesse/perception procs to get it after I looted 虹彩礦石). I personally avoided all Primal, Molten, and Hardened nodes in case the 3 stones shared a weekly cap or something (these nodes are the ones that can drop heated ore/unyielding chunk), but I don't know for sure if that is necessary.

Edit: about 8 weeks in and my method below still works every week, but I have not managed to loot the charged stone...always heated ore or unyielding stone. I have heard of people getting the charged stone off finesse (or maybe perception?) procs on any kind of node.

For those hunting for this with the new achievement, here is some info:

There are three elemental knowledge items that seem very RNG - 元素充能之石 (which is for this achievement), 炙熱礦石樣本, and 堅固的石塊.

Various comments have speculated that these have a weekly or character cap. Despite sharing an entry in the mining journal, you MUST get the 元素充能之石 for achievement credit.

My personal experience has been that I get one of the elemental items in my first 2-3 elemental nodes per week, and then none. And it's a toss up which one you get - week 1 I got a Heated, week 2 I got another Heated, and this week I got a Heated AND an Unyielding in the SAME NODE (second node of the week). Note that every week I did hundreds of nodes trying to farm this achievement and saw none of these elemental knowledge items after the first few nodes.

So, today I got a heated ore sample on my third node. I decided to throw it away and farm some more to try and get the elementally-charged stone. Whelp, got around 15 nodes later.

Here's how I got mine for the achievement. At the weekly reset, I took my miner out, and I mined ONLY titan-touched and primal nodes, nothing else. No non-elemental nodes, no molten nodes, and no hardened nodes. My logic was that the molten nodes drop the 炙熱礦石樣本 and hardened nodes drop 堅固的石塊. Since you're limited to five of these special stones a week (the sixth one you would get is instead replaced with 虹彩礦石), I wanted to maximize the probability that the special stones I got would be the right type. Sure enough, I first got an 虹彩礦石碎片 from a Titan-touched node, and shortly after I got the 元素充能之石 from another Titan-touched.

I gave up on the primal ones since i only got heated and unyielding on character after character probably got some 25 of them and titan touched didnt give me any whatsoever. molten touched gave heated np there and hardened gave unearthed. So i decided to switch things up abit and focus on only rich severite/draconium and titan touched and i got it from a rich severite node

I dont know if it counts or anything I have mined SOOO much since start, but actually not in Warmode.
I began to mine in warmode and I got The Elemental Charged Stone
from a Infurious Serevite Deposit
1 hour of mining in Zaralek Cavern I tried to find the primal nodes, (found 2 and overloaded them, didnt do anything)
But tried to keep to the special nodes in the cavern. Titan touched , Metamorphic and the Infurious ones.

Today (27/09/23) I received a Heated Ore Sample within the first few minutes of mining and an Elementally Charged Stone after about probably another fifteen minutes of mining. I consumed the Heated Ore Sample straight away and did not delete it like other comments are suggesting. Goodluck :)

Just got one at 95 Mining from a regular Serevite Deposit, no special tools, and only other knowledge gains were the 5 Iridescent Ore Fragments.

Looted one from a Rich Serevite Deposit in Ohn'naran Plains. Had the 5 Iridescent Ore Fragments, the Iridescent Ore and a Heated Ore Sample in my bags when I picked it up. Not sure if having the items is related as I got the herbalism item without having the same.

To get credit for learning this for the new mining profession achievement 地質學家手札 - 巨龍群島, I use a level 60 character with no mining skill points or knowledge since I was not able to quickly find it again on my trained gatherer. I got it at mining level 29 from a serevite ore deposit in the Azure Span. I did not avoid any special types of ore. I was using standard green profession tools and the pickaxe had the finesse stat.

I must be super unlucky. been farming it for two weeks now.
got my iridescent ore (and of course fragments) within an hour of flying and mining.
not a single elementally charged stone since.... im getting frustrated... am I missing something?

Got this from a regular serevite node while leveling a toon with zero profession equipment after getting 虹彩礦石. Before getting the drop, I had previously looted 堅固的石塊 so confirming as others have that you can get both. Had previously farmed unsuccessfully for ~10 hours on a max-level toon with BIS equipment, trying both perception and finesse stats. In other words, this definitely feels completely random.

Edit 4/8/24: It's been a few weeks since I did my gathering, but this week I had 3 元素充能之石 drop by the time I finished collecting my 虹彩礦石. Not sure if drop rate has changed.

update: 2 hours of booze and mining got it. Complaining on wowhead works

Hi, looted today on a Molten Serevite Deposit...I have been farming only simple serevite and draconium deposits (like it was said in other comments) from weeks and weeks, but yesterday i decided to farm every deposits without exceptions. And this morning i have looted it on a Molten Serevite Deposit in Zaralek Cavern.
