The two set seems to proc 1-2 times per minute. The bleed damage of this is affected by mastery on assassination rogues. On a single target fight with good procs, it can do around 2% of your total damage (Brand + Bleed). Otherwise, you are looking at a 1-1.5% dps gain on average. I believe it adds around 6-8 IL of value to these daggers on a solid single target fight, reducing down to 4-6 IL on a bad fight. Overall, go for these daggers until you have two daggers that are 252+.

Both these daggers dropped from General Zarathura for me. He spawns in the small platform at the upper left on the Zereth Mortis zone map. Unsure if the other bosses mentioned that are supposed to drop these still do...but they didn't for me...only fist weapons, which my Rogue spec can't use...

used group finder to kill the rares that drop this dagger...0/3 as an assassination rogue..meanwhile another rogue was in two of the groups i joined aswell as outlaw spec he got it two times. been killing them everyday as assassination spec have yet to see it drop I know rng is a thing but man I got no luck It seems

After farming for this since ZM came out and getting constant Outlaw weapon drops I had switched to Outlaw spec thinking perhaps some wires were crossed behind the scenes (and oddly just stopped getting any weapon drops). Then today I joined a group for Iska and noticed another rogue get the Dirk. I messaged them asking what spec they were in and they said Sub, said they'd been trying to get the dagger since ZM came out. Heartened by the fact that it COULD drop for a sub spec I changed my loot spec back to that and within five minutes found a Demaris group and then the dagger dropped for me...

So either we were both super lucky within five minutes of each other after weeks of failure or it seems like maybe they fixed something with today's server maintenance.

Now to get the dang offhand from General...

Finally dropped out after hard farming all three rares for a month every day. Dropped by Marzan (this was the third boss of the day) in the Outlaw specialization, but the loot was for Assassination.

Here's what I don't get. I'm an outlaw rogue, and my dispatch move requires a one-handed melee weapon.

This weapon is slotted as a main hand weapon. It dropped for me while outlaw spec. My dispatch move does not work with this weapon as the main. I'm thinking it's because dispatch requires a sword weapon- so that makes this drop useless unless I change my spec.

I can't use it as my off-hand dagger because it's slotted as the main. And my main needs to be a sword for that move. Very frustrating, not sure when one-handed daggers started being slotted as mains/offhands.

Dropped today off Damaris after trying for months. After no luck as Assassination, I switched loot spec to Subtlety per an earlier comment (@Vitochi) and finally got it (still took several kills). No idea if that made the difference or not, but some data is better than no data :) Killed Mother right after and got her dagger as well (changed loot spec back to Ass), it was a good day!
