Patch 9.2. brought some color variants for these swords, which I think is awesome, since the model is really nice, and the animation of the colour + the broker appearing behind you is very cool. Really great model and glad they did it!

希拉斯的專屬軍刀 is dropped by 貪婪的希拉斯. It's the red model of the sword.
希魯坎的輻光之觸 is dropped by 希魯坎. It's the yellowish model of the sword.
靈魄虹吸劍 is dropped by 吞沒者. It's the purple model of the sword.
受啟迪植物學家的砍刀 is dropped by 貪食原基蔓藤. It's the green model of the sword. ~~As of 28.02.2022, Gluttonous Overgrowth is bugged and cannot be spawned.~~
The last sword (or the last 2 since one is str and other is agi), 審問者的去皮刀 and 重傷之刃 are dropped from 佐菲克斯 in Tazavesh, the Veiled Market.

Keep in mind, that all the Zereth Mortis models are actually obtainable by classes / loot specs that can transmog the swords, not use them. I've seen reports of mages obtaining the Xy'rath sword, while rogues & monks are getting Hirukon's sword.

The Zo'phex one however, is restricted to the appropriate class & spec combination.

I have this one-handed sword Xy'rath's Signiture Saber same model but at ilvl 236. Dropped in the same place as the 242 but I am a Human Tank. Pleased with it though:-)

I looted this on my warlock and learned the appearance, so it does not require an agility class, just a class that can use swords.

I don't know if it's just me or if this sword has a lower chance to drop but I got the other 3 from ZM all with 1-4 kills. I didn't keep track of kills but I farmed Xy'rath every day since the start of 9.2 when he was up with 5 characters and only got it yesterday. I got the toy at least 6 times before the sword. So yeah don't feel bad if this one takes a while I guess.

This dropped for me on my warlock tonight after about 25 attempts on various alts. Had agility on it but was going for the transmog, so can confirm that it does drop for intellect users.

This definitely had a lower drop chance than the other ZM swords, I got all the other ones much quicker than this one. Its cool having a more rare appearance so get ready to commit some time to farming this one.

i can NOW confirm, thanks to help from my guild leader, that stats, mean NUTHIN' when it comes to getting this sword, because SHE got it, on her WARLOCK! meaning a frost dk main, like myself can loot it

I can recommend addon "HandyNotes: Shadowlands". Hovering mouse cursor over the Rare's skull on the map, it will show you possible special drops (blues+, toys etc.) for your class.
Spec or loot settings does not matter in Open World drops. So, playing Retri, you can drop Shields. Hover your cursor over Xy'rath skull to confirm if your class can drop this sword.
If skull turns from purple to white, it means you have full loot table from the certain Rare.

Having 希拉斯的專屬軍刀 in your bags will, every 5 minutes, trigger a ghostly-translucent, untargetable, unnamed mob in 貪婪的希拉斯's likeness to appear near your character.

It does not follow you around like the 受詛咒的紀念物 ghost (淵喉詛咒) will; the broker will remain stationary where it spawns until it disappears a very short 5 seconds later.

When Triggered: It will do a frontflip into existence, stand there for a couple seconds, and suddenly disappear.
It's certainly quite different from 受詛咒的紀念物 and 作祟的紀念物!

It likes to proc/spawn at the same time as 受詛咒的紀念物's ghost. They don't always proc/spawn together, but they usually do (it seems like an anomaly when they don't, because that happens so rarely).
So if you've got both 希拉斯的專屬軍刀 and 受詛咒的紀念物 in your bags, you can have both the "haunted ghost" AND the "ghostly Xy'rath" as your ethereal entourage simultaneously, usually every 5 minutes! :D

Just remember: while the ghost from 受詛咒的紀念物 sticks around for 30 seconds, the rogue broker from 希拉斯的專屬軍刀 will only stay for 5 seconds before it despawns.

Killed Xy'rath 27 times. Tried on DH, BM Hunter, and Assassin Rogue and didnt get it. Switched Rogue spec to Outlaw and got it on first kill. I think only certain specs can loot the sword.

So I've looted 3.
Traded off the last one I looted and then no longer had the appearance. I vendored the first 2 after equipping them. Just wanting to give people a fair heads up on the off chance people still farm for this.

He does not spawn every day. If you see his equipment and scrolls at his spawn location he does spawn that day. His spawn rates are at 30 mins or 1 hour from last spawn.

Saw a red broker in Valdrakken's bank today and was hunting for the source, thinking it might be a hidden secret. Unsure if 10.1 broke something for others to see your ghostly follower now because I didn't have this sword on me nor in my bag when I spotted him. Will upload screenshot.

I have tested this across 6 characters now and I'm nearly certain that this weapon will only drop for classes that are able to transmog it (no hunters even though they would be able to equip it) and will only drop on the first kill of the day on each character. You can kill it on multiple characters to have multiple chances per day.

I've seen many people farming it all day on the same character to no avail. Hopefully this helps people avoid this in the future.

The Zereth Mortis lightsaber swords can drop for the following classes on their first kill of the day (spec doesn't matter): Death Knight, Demon Hunter, Evoker, Mage, Monk, Paladin, Rogue, Warlock, Warrior

Simple macro to see if you have killed this rare today or not on a specific character. I know I can forget when I have alts I am logging into, especially with the respawn timer.
