Well, I was a bit confused about the comments to this Disguise Kit and I started to gettin' a bit worried, when I read "you will recieve this kit one day after you have completed the quest chain" but I havent recieved anything.
So I just logged off, to do something else.. and more than 24h after I had completed the questchain, I got the kit through the ingame mail system *sheesh*

So, just stop being worried about not having get a snowman kit (yet). Just be patience and wait, you will get one kit of your own!

It sometimes does not come EXACTLY 24 hours after you have done the quest. I have tested it... Before i turned in the quest, That's a mean one....., I have checked wowhead.com about the disguise kit and for what I have heard from the comments, most people say EXACTLY 24 hours. So to test it if it is really real, I made an alarm, and when the alarm activated there was no mail, even if I re-logged it did not come.... When past 6 hours after that there was a mail that came to me and it was the Winter Veil Disguise Kit! I almost lost hope there...

So just to clear it up, it is not ALWAYS EXACTLY 24 hours after you have done the quest. So don't worry too much guys. :D

I got mine for 30 hours after the quest.

EDIT: Excuse me but the quest I told is wrong, it's not That's a mean one, it's You're a mean one.

EDIT2: Just a reminder also, I said SOMETIMES it's not EXACTLY 24 hours... Some may have it EXACTLY 24 hours.

For people that get stuck with the buff "Snowman" and you can't do anything to remove it, try using:

/cancelaura Snowman

That atleast worked for me.

if you use this and gain the Snowman! buff in Orgrimmar you will not receive the onyxia death buff.

When used, this item makes you immobilized, no pull or push effects will affect you. I.E. Death Grip, Typhoon, Thunderstorm or Blast Wave.

If u use Winter Veil Disguise Kit in Dalaran Sewers arena at the spawning place, you won't get "flooded" out of it.
It's great for healers who can't stealth, they're safe there. If u remove the Buff, u will still get pushed out of the pipe shortly afterwards.

Unusable in Arena since 3.0.8

I made a list of gimmick items which you can use to transform your character into a different form or race or even gender to play around with. I didn't add items like weapons that provide a procc with a transform effect that only lasts a few seconds even though I know about them. You were able to get into passenger seats of mounts whilst having this disguise on (choppers, mammoths etc), but it seems with cataclysm that has been nerfed.

Year after year they send it to you and since you can't delete the mail you have to find the one you already own, delete it and then get the new one from the mail. Maybe they can fix this during the next decade.

Got my mail containing the kit approx 24 hours after completing the You're A Mean One Quest. Trouble is, I can't actually get the kit. It comes up, You can't carry anymore of that item. I remember having one a couple of years ago but never did the achieve. I only need the last achieve associated with this item but I can't get it out of the mail. I can drag the accompanying note, just not the item. I have searched my bank and void storage and it's not there. What shall I do?

Arrived about 24 hours after I completed 那個卑鄙的傢伙... and 燻木牧場的感謝, at around 9:00 PM server time

Sacks is another one of the Smokywood Pastures Goblins named after stores, Sax Fifth Avenue in his case. The reason he needed to be unfrozen is because he became the 奇怪的雪人! In the past, players learned what happened to him in the completion text for a now obsolete quest: 被偷走的冬幕节礼物 (A) / Stolen Winter Veil Treats (H).

All sorted now. Logged in today and I could open the item and put it in my bags. Going to Dalaran to complete and get the Merrymaker title. Must have been a bug last night.

If someone has used this to turn themselves into a snowman you can use"Ai-Li's Skymirror" on them to turn into a snowman BUT bew able to walk, use snowballs and anything other than mounting.

This item seems to provide some immunity to AFK log outs, I discovered this by accident when I was called away from the game and returned an hour later to find my character still logged in.
I have tested this up to 4 hours with no log out due to AFK, where normally I am auto logged out of the game around 20 minutes after going AFK.

So, finished up the quests yesterday and waited for the package to come today with my new snowman disguise however all I got in the pack was some Christmas food items. I guess it's a waiting game as I see other people have said it had been two days for them. I'll update when I happen to get it.

Hi all

On This Christmas Achievement 冰霜搖搖 First You need to finish Quest 那個卑鄙的傢伙... after 24h you will get letter with 冬幕偽裝包.

Then Go to buy 雪球 you need it to use toy ( I buy 雪球 from 柯爾‧叮叮袋 in Stormwind 63 70.

Go to Dalaran ( i done in WOTLK ) and use 冬幕偽裝包 to next to other Snowman, mark him after transform and type /dance

Yes you get a new one of these every year, yes you can get rid of it, no since there's no sell price you can't vendor it, and yes since it's rare quality you will have to confirm by typing "delete."

Reference 冰霜搖搖

You must use 冬幕偽裝包 for this achievement. When you use 冬幕偽裝包 it will consume 1x 雪球. You can purchase 雪球 from vendors for very little, or buy them on the AH for very little.

When 冬幕偽裝包 is used, it turns you into a snowman, which acts as a buff but is actually a stun. You will not be able to move. So make sure you are where you want to be, or that you have extra snowballs. You may also want extra snowballs in case the person who helps you needs them.

To find someone to do the achievement with you, you can do /who while in Dalaran. This will pop up the "who" tab where it will show the text ( "z-"Dalaran" ) ... Then remove the coordinates, leaving just the ( z-"Dalaran" ) to show everyone in Dalaran. Also make sure it says "northrend" Dalaran on their location. I know this works in Northrend Dalaran, not sure about the other.
You can PM people and ask them or offer them some gold in exchange for it. Normally if you message someone and link the achievement, they will be respectful about you asking. You may want to have extra snowballs to give to them in this scenario.

NOTE: if you have War Mode enabled, which you can check in your talents tab by pressing N default, in the bottom right, you will be instanced. This will prevent you from seeing other players who do not have War Mode on. Additionally, you may want to speak to Chromie to set your timeline to current if you are having trouble finding people.

When you are both close to each other and use the diguise, you both have to do /dance. Remember that /dance in this state doesnt last forever, so if it isnt giving you credit, you may have to do /dance again.

To remove buff if you dont have addons or another means, you can alright right click the buff icon.

if you cannot find 冬幕偽裝包, try pressing Shift-P or going to the collections tab on the toybox. If you search "winter" it should show up. However, it doesnt always appear when searching the other words in the name. Check your bank/mail on your characters if this item is not in your toybox.

Don't be me. Don't wait until the last day of the event to do the meta achievement, only to realize there is a mandatory 24 hour wait involved. I now have to wait a whole year to do it again unless somehow it lets me complete the achievement after the event ends. That being said, the achievement text reads "During the Feast of Winter Veil...".
