Looted the Mk1型機械老大遙控啟動裝置 from the last boss 瑞茲當克老大 while having the buff from 艾澤萊激勵工程藥劑 which gives a total of 250 Engineering when combined with 3 rings unlocked in your engineering goggles at 150 base skill.

Some notes: Did not have the Mecha-Mogul MK2 recipe learned or at all, used the Elixir after pulling the boss. You can not be loot saved.

Curious. Since M+ loot chest can drop anything from the loot table for a dungeon, is it possible to farm the trash for a potion, run Motherlode on M+, pop a potion before the fight ends and then loot the chest for a potential drop of the activation device.....

Hi guys!

Mecha-Mogul Mk1 Remote Activation Device can drop in M+ chest?
I have 225 eng. + use potion before last boss dead in M+6 so was 250 eng. and no - Mecha-Mogul Mk1 Remote Activation Device
I try it 2 times still nothing.
Anyone know this item lootable in M+?

Here is my comprehensive guide on how to farm this as of November, 2018:

You will need to farm the following items:
------------------------------------------------------------
- Platinum Ore x 50 (Mining or the AH)
- Storm Silver Ore x 100 (Mining or the AH)
- Expulsom x 20 (Scrapper)
- Azerite Forged Protection Plating x 20 (MOTHERLODE-Mythic, not M+, harvest defeated mechs)
- Crush Resistant Stabilizer x 20 (MOTHERLODE-Mythic, not M+, harvest defeated mechs)
- Blast-Fired Electric Servomotor (MOTHERLODE-Mythic, not M+, harvest defeated mechs, RARE)
- Barely Stable Azerite Reactor (Have high BFA engineering, purchase for 30,000g from Doctor Boom inside MOTHERLODE)
- Mecha-Mogul Mk1 Remote Activation Device (MOTHERLODE-Mythic, not M+, drops from Mogul Razdunk, must have max BFA engineering + wearing fully unlocked engineering goggles + using Azerite Inspir-A-Geneering Elixir at time of kill)
- Mecha-Mogul Mk2 Recipe (MOTHERLODE-Mythic, including M+, drops from Mogul Razdunk, must have BFA engineering any level)

Bonus Items Needed:

- BFA Engineering Goggles, all traits unlocked (will boost your BFA engineering level)
- Azerite Inspir-A-Geneering Elixir, Unique, drops from Megaminds in MOTHERLODE at high engineering levels

Basic Instructions:
--------------------------
- Train BFA engineering and level to max ASAP
- Build your Goggles and unlock all traits (boosts your BFA Eng level more when equipped)
- Run THE MOTHERLODE on Mythic (normal mythic, not +) while wearing goggles
- Pull, kill, loot and harvest the mechs to collect Plating, Stabilizers and Servomotors. It seems higher BFA Eng level yields higher drop rates.
- (High Eng Required) Buy the Barely Stable Azerite Reactor from Dr. Boom for 30,000g
- (High Eng Required) Kill Megaminds to loot Azerite Inispir-A-Geneering Elixir
- (High Eng Required) Use the elixir before Mogul Razdunk dies (can be during fight) and loot the Mk1 Activation Device.
- After you get the Mk1 Activation device, elixirs should be used on the hill before Mogul Razdunk to boost harvest rates on those mechs
- Kill Mogul Razdunk on any Mythic difficulty (Mythic, M+) and loot the recipe (any BFA Eng Level)
- Craft the mount
- Go outside and get some sun (optional)

Notes:
---------
- Farming the Servomotors will take the longest, as they seem to drop at about 25% the rate of the other two blue items.
- The recipe itself does NOT require high engineering level to obtain, and unlike most items may be obtained on any Mythic or Mythic+ difficulty.
- Always let the Mech Jockeys mount up, and request early on that your fellow dungeoneers do the same. If they are stunned or prevented from their first attempt to mount up, they may not try again, wasting a precious mech kill that run.
- Pull as many mechs as you can in a run, even if you have to pull an extra pack or two (Azerite Extractors come to mind). However, work with your group to make sure you're not pissing them off.
- I advise you create your own M0 runs and only invite non engineers to minimize competition. Some runs may only yield 1 or 2 blue mats even if you harvest all the mechs, so this is key.
- After you have obtained the Activation Remote using the Elixirs, they are best used on the hill before the final boss. If you are smart, you can harvest all 6 mechs on that hill with one elixir if you wait to harvest them till they're all dead.

The item drops from MYTHIC PLUS +++

Just did a +2 and the chest in the end dropped it.

Of course do not forget your 艾澤萊激勵工程藥劑. Gotta pop it before the boss dies. I popped mine around 1mil hp just in case and popped every single cd i have again just to be certain I won't die or something... :P :D

With the new profession skill cap, you will get this item now even without that elixir from the Masterminds if you wear an engineering helmet. That's annoying because you can only have one Remote Device on your char and the boss still drops two of them. If you don't loot them, you will get them per mail, but you can't delete the mail.

For all you engineers out there wanting to farm the mats for the mount. I managed to loot 2 of each of the 防撞穩定器, 爆燃電動伺服馬達, and 艾澤萊戰鑄裝甲 from 瑞茲當克老大 on Heroic difficulty 晶喜鎮！ through the dungeon finder. I also managed to loot a Mk1型機械老大遙控啟動裝置 off of him in the same run. Granted its not the quickest way to farm the parts, but its probably the easiest. I have not confirmed if this is farmable or just lootable once per day like other heroics. I also do not have the schematic for the mount so I can confirm it is not needed to loot these items off of 瑞茲當克老大.

So the first time i looted this like 6 months ago i used the engineering potion with maxed level enginering goggles to get it. I don't recall ever getting it without that combo before and i used to run it once a week on m0.with goggles equipped no potion.

Today I looted the remote with just the max goggles equipped but no potion from the end chest of a +11. Only time i've seen that happen so I guess it's possible.

Looted 2 in one kill (1 in the bag 1 in the mail) on Mythic +0 without engineering potion, ~~only goggles that gives +55 engineering, so a total of 230 engineering skill is required, not 250.~~

If you are like me and farming this mount still in shadowlands, then you might wonder why device not dropping anymore, answer is that you need to wear heart of azeroth for your engineering helm to work.

Things have definitely changed. I just killed this boss on heroic and he dropped the activation device. Then I killed him on normal and he dropped it again. Then I reset and killed him on normal a second time and he dropped it again.

My Zandalari engineering was 175 with the 75 goggles

Surprisingly, the Elementium Toolbox doesn't hold this vital piece of machinery. However, it WILL hold any "missives" you may have lying around for your legendary in Shadowlands. Topsy-turvy, takes all and none. Oh well at least it's a 36 slot bag I guess. I've NEVER been able to figure out what it holds and not (some ores, some not, some engineering supplies/mats, some not). End Rant!

Anyway, yeah, the device seems to drop with reckless abandon now, however only on Heroic and above I'd say as it didn't drop for me on Normal the one time I ran that. Good luck!

Does anyone know a good way like a macro or an addon to remove all of these from my mailbox at one time ? I have about 40 of them because even though you only need 1 per mount Blizz made it so you get one every time you kill Razdunk which is just plain ridiculous and such a huge waste of time. Normally I would just leave them in my mail and let them time out after a month but I am trying to do a server transfer and now I need to clear out my mailbox first they say. It sure would be nice if you could just leave them in there and they would not be there when you got to the new server. But I guess we can't be trusted to look at what we have in our own mailboxes before the transfers so uncle Blizz wants to make sure we don't leave anything important behind.

0. Engineering at 175
1. Heart of Azeroth (mine was Level 55)
2. Engineering made Goggles (mine was AZ3-R1-T3 Gearspun Goggles, so +20 engineering)
3. SHIFT+RIGHT CLICK on engineering-made Goggles! (click and max out all rings - oh.. this ring.. - this will +25 +30 to engineering!)

so altogether +20 +25 +30 = +75 to 175 engineering, a grand total of 250

after many many readings from bits and pieces everywhere... you need to get the 250 to drop the final Remote and Servomotor.

Sooo, my engineer is Dracthyr... which has a "class" that cannot spec the AZ3-R1-T3 Bionic Bifocals. From what I am reading, this item will not drop unless you have this helm's Azerite engineering points attributes. Soooooo crafting this on a Dracthyr is impossible?

Which I had realized this before spending weeks farming Schematic: Mecha-Mogul Mk2.

I did it so you do not have to.
