I have scrapped 3147x 潮沫亞麻布護腕.

This is what I got:
517x 驅質
4801x 潮沫亞麻布
2153x 尼龍線

This means, that for each 潮沫亞麻布護腕 I got on average:
0.164x 驅質
1.526x 潮沫亞麻布
0.684x 尼龍線

So basically I got 1 驅質 for every 6 潮沫亞麻布護腕. In addition to that I also got some of the 潮沫亞麻布 and 尼龍線 back.

According to the data I have collected the quality of the items that are scrapped does not have any impact on the amount of 驅質 that is created.

I also scrapped other tailoring items, that are more expensive to craft. I did not have the impression that I got out more 驅質 from those items. However, the data suggested that the amount of Linen and Nylon returned might be slightly higher for more expensive items, but my sample size was too small to reliably indicate something like that.

Daelin's gate seems to drop plenty so far. It's south of Vigil Hill flightpath in Tiragarde with fast respawns and NPCs helping out. It doesn't seem to phase out after completing the quests either. Hope someone can post some farming stats as time goes on.

The best way that I found to farm this (Alliance), was while doing quest in the 提拉加德海灣, in Vigil Hill, in the quest 為了庫爾提拉斯！, in the one that gives you a banner 普勞德摩爾戰旗 to inspire 15 citizens. Well, this item is still in your inventory when you finish the mission, if you do not deliver it (completing the quest). I stayed there for about half an hour, "planting" the banner every time it left, and hitting with area damage all those who approached. With the inspiration of the banner, the citizens do a huge damage, in 4 or 5 seconds you can kill all the mobs that come. Being attentive to when the banner is gone, we put it back on, and we continue ... Every so often we collect what the mobs drop, and many of these indispensable cloths if you are a tailor, or perhaps to sell it, at the same time that we can collect trash that are worth some gold, and some greens that tend to fall too. I hope it can be useful, because I didn't see a single comment on how to farm this linen.

I think it might be relevant for some as it was for me: Tailoring seems to significantly increase drop rates for cloth in BfA. An hour of farming on a char without it neted about 20 Tidespray and no Deep Sea, while the same time on one with it got a full stack of the former and about 30 of the latter.

Seems to be more pronounced this expac, but maybe I didn't farm as much last expac as now.

Does anyone know if the shoulder enchant from legion still works for bfa

For me, getting there is as important as drop and spawn rates. For Horde, I take the portal to Daz, then a short flight down to the port and run up one flight of the central stairs. There are 4-5 yellow Speakers on the right and 4-5 more on the left side that drop cloth.

You have Amani on the right (east) side. I avoid these because I'm a mage and they stun ranged players. So I farm the Sandfuries on the left (west) side. By the time I make it all the way to the back of their compound and head back out they have started to spawn again.

Easy in and easy out. 15 minutes of farming today yielded 44 linen. They occasionally drop Deep Sea Satin and the odd green item as well.

I found the best place to Farm Tidespray Linen Solo. Go to 74.26,84.03 in Freehold (Tiragarde Sound) I'm no expert so I don't know exact drops per hour but I'm consistantly getting between 3-15 Linen, some Deep Sea Satin and between 5-15 gold each pull of 14 ish mobs. respawn rate is around 2 minutes. plus of course some junk and green drops. Found this from a YouTuber. Here's the video she did https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KLCVSurXcJ0

For the Horde...

I just farmed the Dark Iron Dwarves and Direhorns on the west coast of Xibala, southwest of Dazar'alor, for about 45 minutes. I picked up:

127 tidespray linen
11 deep sea satin
33 thick paleo steaks
6 miscellaneous greens to scrap (oddly enough they are all weapons)
130 gold from selling grey junk

I forgot to count regular gold from the mobs.

Easy mobs - only 66,000 hit points at level 120. I'm a mage at ilevel 411 so I only pulled one or two at a time. I went in a steady circle along the beach and then around to the north and east through the grass. Just don't get too close to the alliance camp north of the dungeon entrance on the west side.

My other suggestion for farming cloth is to find a world quest for killing humanoids and farm that area. You will get some help from people doing the quest and the respawn is pretty fast on world quest mobs. There always seems to be something for this in Nazmir with the blood trolls. Or maybe the Champions of Azeroth world quests for azerite farming that have humanoid mobs.

For the Horde #2:

Freehold in Tiragarde Sound at 74.05,84.31 I started with the yellow mobs in the open air tents then killed assorted reds for 30 seconds until the yellows re-spawned, rinse and repeat. Sometimes I'd fly to the east end of the island to the "main" square and kill mobs there while waiting for re-spawn.

1 hour of farming yielded:

789 gold from looting gold and selling gray items
419 Tidespray linen cloth
17 Deep sea satin
11 Stringy loins - from dogs roaming the area
19 assorted level 266 greens

Recently I learnt the ins and outs of a basic Tidesray pants vendor shuffle, so I thought I'd share some simple steps here with those that have yet to try this gold making strategy.

If you'd prefer to just watch a short video explanation you can do so here.

So for those of you who have no idea what this is; you essentially craft Tidespray Linen Pants and sell them directly to a vendor, with the exception of the blue rarity crafts. This is only possible if you purchase the ingredients Nylon Thread and Tidespray Linen at really low prices.

Tidespray Linen

The breakeven price for Tidespray Linen is 2 gold 6 silver. Each additional silver under purchase price will increase your profit per pants vendored. The lower you buy in the more profit you make. I try to buy as much as I can at 1 gold 80 silver or lower for it to be worth my time personally. You need 17 Tidespray per pants craft

As of this moment, the shuffle is only profitable on a portion of EU realms, but dont let that discourage you, my realm has seldom been viable, but I've still made good profits during occasional market resets.

You can also manually farm Tidespray Linen instead by acquiring the Synchronous Thread, but make sure to keep an eye out on the auction house for potential market resets that may bring prices down.

Nylon Thread

It usually sells for 60 silver, but make sure you buy it at a reduced price of 48 silver if you have exalted reputation with Zandalari Empire or Proudmoore Admiralty. I've yet to confirm this, but apparently the goblin vendor discount racial works as well.

There are plenty of vendors that sell Nylon Thread, but if you are Horde ~~Scum~~, head on over to Aman De Child in Dazar'alor to buy as much as you need. If you are Alliance, you can purchase from Daniel Brineweaver in Boralus
You can also try snipe Nylon off the auction house, you won't believe how many people undercut below vendor prices. The latest auction house update has however mitigated this quite a bit, but it still happens sometimes due to the Nylon Thread rewards from PvP chests that people are eager to get rid of.

Making The Raw Gold

Once you have enough Tidespray Linen and Nylon Thread stockpiled, begin crafting Tidespray Linen Pants. Remember to only buy these ingredients at the above mentioned prices. Once you're done crafting Tidespray Linen Pants, start selling them to a vendor, with the exception of the rare crafted pants. Depending on the price of veiled crystals on your realm, you may want to try and disenchant these rare crafts.

The Results

Now unfortunately this shuffle doesn't really have an accurate gold per hour estimate, or at least I haven't been able to calculate one as of yet. The reasons I find it hard to provide a good estimate are as follows.

Everyone has different local Auction House prices for ingredients.
Everyone has different ingredient quantities they can craft with.
Everyone has different efficiencies when it comes to crafting (alts, enchants, macros etc).
Successful Blue Rarity crafts are RNG.
Veiled Crystal Drop Chances are RNG.

I find the general rule to be: The lower the price of Tidespray Linen the more gold you make.

A pretty good spot to farm this is at Freehold, just west of the Ring of Booty (74,84). There's an area of spectators that respawn somewhere near 60 seconds after being killed. Lather, rinse, repeat.

If you're level 60 with a decent item level there's absolutely no better place to farm tidespray linen than the DUNGEON version of Freehold, not the world version like other comments suggest. On my 222 item level unholy DK (who is a tailor) I was able to gather up and kill all the trash in the instance on normal in about 6 pulls. This took about 15 minutes and along with about 500-600 gold gave me:

276 Tidespray Linen
8 Deep Sea Satin
9 BOEs

After putting the BOEs into the Scrap-O-Matic 1000 I got a further:

10 Tidespray Linen
9 Deep Sea Satin
7 Embroidered Deep Sea Satin

Just don't kill any bosses and you can keep resetting the trash till you have enough cloth.
