CONFIRMATION FINALLY! I have screenshots to upload of a GM telling me the recipe is Definitely still in game. He said he couldn't tell exactly which mobs drop the item, but when I said the only info I needed was whether it still dropped off the same mobs or had been moved to more level appropriate mobs, he gave a REALLY good hint. I said the only info I had was that fansites said it MIGHT still drop off the same mobs, and he replied that he showed it only drops off ONE mob in game, and to "trust the fansites". So to conclude the long running debate, GET BACK TO FARMING THE VILEBRANCH HIDESKINNERS. It is there. Good luck!

Been farming this on three different toons/realms for a couple of days. Have not seen this pattern drop.

Anyone actually seen it drop, as opposed to it showing up on the AH (I found a couple of "Recipe: Lean Venison" in a bank this week...., so an AH appearance may be a case like mine)
