I'm not sure if the previous comments fully convey to the readers just how pink this robe really is. Your friends will see you coming, that's for sure. Mind you, they'll hear the torrents of abuse from the ladies and cat calls from the guys directed at you long before that. It's not pink, it's PINK.

We had this drop from Ras the other night, and being the healer and indeed only caster in the party, I won it. I'd never even heard of the item until it dropped, I understand that the drop rate is between 1 and 2% however. It's made a lovely addition to my healing gear which is mostly made up of cloth and leather items with the occasional plate as well.

One time, I was in a group of a warrior, two hunters, and two shamans. This dropped and we were all thinking "uhhhh..."

Long story short, the healing shaman took it. Didn't look too bad on her ^_^ I bet she got a lot of whispers from angry clothies though.

There are different colors of this same model;
Mooncloth Robe is the crafted pale blue version.
Robes of the Exalted is the aqua version.
Elegant Robes is a gold version.

This continues to be a great robe for casters at this level range into Cataclysm. I was lucky enough to get this on my Troll Priest just a little while ago (even won the roll over a Hunter who was trying to ninja it). It'll easily last me to Outland.

Scholomance is remade for MoP along with a level 90 heroic mode like Shadowfang Keep and Deadmines. Better get this robe before it's gone along with anything else nice from Scholo and SM.

Update: It doesn't appear to be on the loot table since the boss who drops it was removed. I remember there was a blue post stating they don't want some of the nicer xmog items removed, so this may change. I wouldn't risk it, so get yours soon.

Ran through Scholomance on Sunday, it was my 3rd time through as a warlock when this dropped. I instantly needed it, and the healer and the DPS either passed or greeded it yet the tank also needed it, damn prot pally, got the robe and left the damn group, what a ninja! Luckily the scholo cloth robe from the set dropped and I got that, still wanted the robe though :(

For some crazy reason this is my latest farming crave so I've started farming this on a few toons. I'll quickly give you some info from experience.

First this is my quick route to 萊斯‧霜語.

When you enter the instance you walk down a small flight of steps to a bridge. On this bridge you'll find Eva, Lucien, Weldon & Alexi as well as two Risen Guards at the other end guarding the door. On this bridge if you're facing the two Risen Guards look to your right and you'll see two gaps in the bridge. The gap closest to the two risen gaurds is the one you want to jump down from. If you follow the diagonal line of the plank which is on the floor near the gap it leads you right to the door (so jump in that direction where the plank is pointing and you'll land right on the door.) This is the door to the viewing room and you've saved yourself about 1-3 mins. On the way back I just hit auto run and pretty much pull the whole instance on my marathon back to the instance portal, I've done this on my clothies and at worst, at lvl85 ungeared, your health will dip 2% lol. Also count your limits, if you're on your last run before lock out don't bother running back to the start, just log out, when you log back in once the lock out is over you will be back at the start.

So far I've been "lucky" (I say that with a massive dollop of sarcasm with a side of more sarcasm) and this has dropped four times (I'm trying to get it on 7 toons all together) and here are my drops for each individual toon (I've customized the addon Rarity to keep track.)

Got it on my 71st run.
Got it to drop on 124th run.
Got it to drop on my 220th run.
Got it on my 12th run.

~~On my remaining 3 I'm on my 81st run, 130th run and 28th run and haven't seen it yet.~~ Got the last three on my 201st, 308th & 64th run (per toon not added together.) So yeah RNG is still RNG so don't lose heart if you really want this. Also the sticky screenie is spot on the color, I don't know what past stickies looked like but it's that color. It's not flat out pink like 流沙法衣, 粉紅魔紋襯衣 or 紫水晶眼魔之眼 it's a warm violet color similar to the eye of 紫羅蘭城塞禦符 (just FYI for those who were thinking it's flat out pink or bright pink, just heads up.)

While you're in there don't forget to try and get 外科醫生襯衣 or 院長之杖 (as they're the other two major rares of the instance.) Oh, and Tailors don't forget to pay 詹迪斯‧巴羅夫 a visit. Once you kill her she drops her journal and if you read it you'll learn how to craft 惡魔布包.

This is a very pretty robe. Sad to see that it has such a low drop rate, about 2%. It took me at least 2 weeks to get it! (The fact it only allows you 5 instances per hour didn't help, either...) If anyone is looking for an awesome robe/dress to get, I would recommend this to you.

This robe uses the Purple variant of the "C5 Robe" artwork. It doesn't actually belong to any transmog page.

There isn't artwork for any other pieces in this set, unless you consider that the skirt half of the robe could be turned into leggings (but hasn't been). So pick whatever you think fits as there are sadly no pieces designed to match.

There are five other colour variants of this robe artwork, but only three are in the game:

White: 月布長袍
Yellow: 新星長袍
Cyan: 尊貴長袍
The unavailable colours are Green (a lighter, more yellowish green than Cyan, with a gold trim) and Red (actually orange, with a yellowed or off-white trim)

this has been mentioned as a precautionary warning by some people but no one has outright said it yet:

Loot tables for the new Scholomance in MoP are now available. This robe (or anything like it) is NOT available as a boss drop in the new Scholomance

So yes, get this robe now, while you still can, as this is (IMO) the best-looking robe with this design, and it seems once MoP comes out, it will no longer be obtainable

they ARE bringing some of the old epics back such as 院長之意志, and many of the new 5-man heroics in MoP seem to have their own low-drop-chance epics from the last boss in the dungeon, but this robe so far does NOT seem to be making a come-back in the next expansion

I took this color off a screen shot because this dress is a really in between color pink/purple. It's not a Barbie pink, nor a Barney purple. It's actually a fuchsia #FF00FF. It's a gorgeous dress, so glad I got it before it was gone!

Not sure if anyone else is having this issue, but I put in several runs and got this on four of my characters and across two servers (one was even on my husband's account) and every single one of them is now gone. I'm 1,000% sure I never deleted any of them. I get that they're unobtainable now, but I've never had an issue with gear being removed from my inventory like this.

No one posting so far has mentioned the same issue, so I assume it isn't normal. If I get a response other than a generic form answer I'll update here, just in case anyone else is having the same problem.

EDIT: I would also like to point out that this tmog was available ONLY in 4.3 since Tmog was introduced and the patch later 5.0 introduced revamped Scholomance and this item was removed. They need to bring this back asap. Such a rare color!

I can confirm this drops from Ras Frostwhisper in the "Old" version of Scholomance, I got it after around 15+ runs.
For some reason the item itself is rare quality, but will still show in your wardrobe as epic.

Siiting on already 689 scourge stones while i am farming for this. Even got the super rare blade out of the dungeon. But this piece just won't drop. At least 160+ attempts over all my characters. I wonder how long the grind will take?

As of 06/24/25, Alanna's Embrace dropped. Idk how many runs it took, but it was alot. I did around 15 hours worth of straight runs. Keep pushing! You will get it!
