Ashamane was a cat God, one of the Wild Gods like Ursoc.

This post is to inform while clearing up confusion about if race changes your weapon's skin or not.

Only the first base skin is changed by racial differentials. None of the others (as of right now) are.

Troll - A green/cyan coat with a mane like a Sahara sunset. Flashy!

Worgen/Tauren - I am putting these two together given, in my opinion, they are just too similar right now. The two have brown coats, with a darker brown/ashy mane. Worgen is a more faded design.

Night elf - A violet hue like fresh springbed flowers, which has nice shades to give it a more concealed touch to such a flashy skin.

As of right now (pre-Legion) some skins are not yet datamined how to obtain them.

Some are from rep farms.

Some are revolving around Prestige levels.

Some are for the main questline, collecting pillar fragments.

I am sure some of the skins will be for you raiders! =edit= Turns out for 'Moonspirit' you must kill enemies with a hidden skin on to obtain them. PvE and PvP.

When they announced that the druid artifacts would allow us to customise our forms' appearance in Legion, I thought it was pretty cool. However... They all have those enormous fangs. I realise the name of the item is "Fangs of Ashamane", but I don't want to look like a Troll druid!

Anyone know if it's possible to turn the artifact appearance off and use normal Cat Form while retaining the artifact abilities? I might try levelling as Resto if there's no choice but to use this derpy model...

These seem to have a hidden trait that procs if you kill a beast while equipping the Fangs of Ashamane:

狩獵者猛攻, A buff that will stack 3 times and icrease your movement speed for 3%, lasting 30 seconds (so a total of 9% movement speed increase).

Comes really handy if you're a skinner and farm beasts for a living :)

If you reset your artifact weapon (the talents/traits) you DONT lose any artifact power except for the artifact power you pay for the reset!

During the game we often fight against several opponents. In the cave or outside it. Let them at least 3.
We have the majority of classes with the artifact that has AOE damage or insanely great in one target (as a monk).

What we see in feral druid? Weakest damage and also to one goal.
My cat when I carry her into the bath can cause more damage than this artifact of feral druid.

If I'm being completely honest, I'm really disappointed that the saberon of Draenor isn't an appearance for the Fangs of Ashamane, not that what appearances they get aren't great, similar to how the Might of Grizzlemaw turns guardian druids into what I refer to as gorilla-bears. I can see why they didn't, most people want to deny WoD ever happened myself included, but I really liked having the option to be a saberon when I played my feral alt even if it really wasn't that great of a talent.

Can i get Fangs of Ashamane in BFA or Shadowlands? I made a druid at the end of BFA. Am i able to get this item/appearance still? I read that i must have Artifact Knowledge lv4 to get the starter mission. Is that still necessary at BFA or SL ? If yes, how can i increase my Artifact Knowledge?

3rd relic slot is life-type. The BoE would be from Legion inscription 斯塔茲印記 -- for completeness sake, so is the frost BoE relic 水之印記. Blood BoE relic comes from BS profession 恐怖尖刺.

As of Shadowlands, all Legion appearances for the Claws of Ursoc and Fangs of Ashamane can be changed by simply going to the barber shop in any capital city and clicking on the "Bear Form" or "Cat Form" icons and picking from the list of forms available to you. Doing this changes your Bear/Cat form for all your specs and means you don't have to transmog your weapon to change your form.

I would love it if someone would explain how the dagger appearances work for transmogrification. Are they, as I read somewhere, race-locked? Is there some kind of (presumably enormous) spreadsheet detailing who gets what and why and when, plus any relation to unlocked cat forms, should such be relevant? Is there any in-game explanation of any of this*? All other artifact appearances in the game are added to the appearance collection so easily, this has really tripped me up!

*No, of course not, Blizzard leaves all of that work to the players and Wowhead. :P
