Aren't the requirements just having a lvl 3 Garrison and doing the quest Pet vs Pest? I have both checked but I don't have the option to build it yet.

To unlock the Pet Menagerie you have to do the quest 寵物對蟲物 which requires you to defeat 3 level 25 pests at your garrison. So, if like me, you never leveled your pets, you are out of luck until you do : /

Just pointing it out that so far it seems for those of us who do not pet battle (or just don't want it) we are stuck with this plot. The other fixed plots (mine, herb garden, and fishing shack) do at least serve a gathering purpose for materials most of which are crossing professions. The menagerie meanwhile, is a wasted spot with a quest icon marker permanently fixed in your garrison.

Hopefully Blizz will allow us the option of replacing this building like how we have the option to do pet battles.

As one of those who has never screwed around with pet battles I am also a bit salty that this building is there and we are unable to do anything with it...however, as one of those who is a sucker for completion, I now feel compelled to unlock this building yet have utterly no idea how to even find a pet to begin with.

stand at the managerie and select (or deselect) a new favorite pet and you will see that it will reset the pool of pets prowling your garrison to a new set. So if you want a new random group of favorites from your large group, here you go.

The Pet Menagerie building has to be the biggest waste of Garrison space there is. Since Pets are account wide, only 1 character would need to have this building active. It is a waste to have this building forced upon a bunch of characters that have no need for it.

It's really cool to see some of my favourite front-line pets that have fought so hard and died so many times wandering around my garrison. It's a really nice personal touch.

Thank You for the help in getting my Pet Menagerie built ( Level 1 anyway ). I did see the Explanation mark but since my pets were only level 15 & 16 I thought I had to do a battle with her and it would be against 3 pets. But I tried it and succeeded to accomplish what I thought would be impossible odds. But because of your explaining what quest I must do it certainly made it so much easier for me. Thanks.

They keep making the Menagerie harder to beat, after they took away xp for lower pets; they will kill off one of the few Draenor experiences that I still like.

Blizzard needs to make the Menagerie REPLACEABLE with something that's actually useful. I didn't ASK for it, and I feel like it's being forced upon us. I appreciate that some enjoy it, great, but give us a choice to tear it down and build something USEFUL. Cheers!

Shadowlands Expansion, Alliance, and wondering why I can't this questline started up so I can level the Menagerie.
(I'm unsure if you need a level 3 Town Hall/Garrison like others have said, I have a level 3 for reference.)

You DO apparently need to go learn the spell "Revive Battle Pets"

Which is taught in your capital city by:
Alliance: 奧德蕾‧燃憂
Horde: 伐索克

I did this, and nothing else, ported back, and Lio had the quest to go get the Strange Stone, which is what starts all of this.

What time does the opponent switch over? Today is Super Squ. EU --- I recall her vanishing at midnight server time for some reason ? Or is it more like 8/9am (I'm BST/GMT).
