Platinum rating is 1300 points, rewards 潰敗入侵者的寶箱

Successfully did this achievement on Alliance with a 685 ilvl mage. I would rate the difficulty of all 6 types of invasion from easiest to hardest like this: Goren > Botani > Ogre = Shadowmoon > Iron Horde >> Shadow Council. The point mark to aim for at the end of 7min 30s stage is 1105-1110 which the final boss will push you right past 1300 for platinum.

Some tips i personally used and would recommend (For alliance):
Preparation and Consumables
附魔回復水晶: Costing 60 GR, This restores 10k hp and mana per second over a small radius of 8 yds. Overally minor buff as mobs are no longer threatening enough to groups going for platinum that the hps is required. However, the mana gain is a fairly big dps boost to Arcane mages.

持久迅捷之瓶: Also costs 60 GR, this provides a sprint after killing enemies, universally useful for reducing downtime travelling around the garrison.

Blessing of K'ara: Zone wide SMV buff obtained from Pilgrim's Shrines found all around the zone. Procs Blessing of K'ara with fairly low uptime. Overally you want any dps boost you can get. The closest ones to garrison are at approximately 32,30 and 25,22

Bodyguards: Likewise, bodyguards are small dps gain that should not be overlooked.

Follower patrol: This is only available to the leader whose garrison is being invaded. Followers on idle wander around the garrison and can be requested to come on patrol. They provide different utility from dps to buffs depending on their abilities. I find that the best followers to bring on patrol are shadow priests as they are able to learn Timed Battle abilities, granting them the ability to buff you with Power Infusion. It grants 50% haste and has a high uptime, thus is a major dps boost. Alternatively, mage followers with timed battle ability also provide a similar dps buff, but can benefit the party if within range, and less effective (35% haste), approximately 1min icd.

Dps Cooldowns: This is obvious but dps cooldowns should generally used to improve kill speed or simply complete bonus events more quickly. In general you want to use hero near the end of the stage where mobs yielding more points start to spawn.

Mob Density Patterns:
Invasions on Alliance side are based around mainly 3 hotspots, the garrison entrance, center fountain and exit towards mines/herb garden. For different types of invasion, one of the hotspots will generally have high mob density than the others, which is where your strongest dps should be situated. As the fountain hotspot encompass a large area, range dps are most ideal for the center hotspot to minimise travelling downtime. These are the mob density patterns i observed in general:
Botani, Goren, Ogre and Shadowmoon invasions mobs tend to have more concentrated around the fountain, Iron Horde and Shadow Council mobs are more concentrated at both mine exit and garrison main entrance points.

Somehow the platinum Botani Invasion fail over and over again. The mobs spawns in the buildings, but we cover up that now. Still we can not reach the 1300 points. The rest was easy, but Botani is somehow for us a struccle.

We use every buff we can get, crystal things, bring th right followers, and know where to stand, and where the mobs spawns. If somebody can tell me what I, and my friends, doing wrong. Please.

Edit; The problem we solve it a long time ago already; some adds spawned inside the buildings. Most players have on the right of that gate the Garrisonbuilding (cannot imagen you changed that) they spawn inside of this building on the rightside. The one at the side gate can see them stand inside. Be aware of it, hit it and pull them out if needed. Or just dot them up, they die fast enough now with our high dps. The major thing you need to do is keep pulling them and kill them asap. The more waves you have the more points you get. Now with the last Tier we do so much damage that it is easy to do now. If your side do not spawn mobs, then somewhere else it goes not that good, or a mob is somewhere you do not see it.

But if you spread around good enough there is now not any problem anymore;
- 1 at the main gate; he / she will cover the mid as well
- 1 at the side gate and he / she do the buildings on both sides where possible adds will spawn inside
- and 1 at the townhall. He / she covers the back gate, the cave exit and the gate to the mines.
The one at the side gate look out for the help he / she can give when the one at the Townhall had it a bit busier then normal, jump in and do the extra dps you need overthere.

The best thing you can have is a moonkin druid who has glyphed his starrfall so it hits everything in 40 yards. With the last Tier set starfall can proc by using Starsurge (not always). Standing at the side gate and using starfall will hit a lot :D Use the extra things you can buy, the speed you gain for the one whoms invasion it is. The healing-crystal for whom who needs it most, just set it down near his/ here attack position, and the ice-block-crystal where the adds spawns the most, or walks to it.

Best way to do Platinum on Shadow council. Alliance side

1-Grab 2 missives: Shattrah (heart and harbor) complete them then check back to see if you got an invasion.
2-If not do redo step 1 ( I had to do 4 missives at first) (second try 2) kill mobs don't use items to fill 100%.
3-Buy ''enduring vial of swiftness'' from Crowler and use it when the invasion starts.
4-Recruit a good range dps ILVL 720 min for the front gate, and a good dps for garden, assign the lesser dps to the fountain task: get terrified workers to the townhall fast and return to dps at foutain.
5-Get body guards. Pop garrison ability at first on phase 2 then at 1:20 min from the end of phase 2 use it again.

STRAT: The faster they will kill mobs at both gates the faster mobs will respawn so it is important for both dps to stick to gates. Running back and fourth in/out the gates. There si less mobs at fountain and more at both gates, so the fountain dps will grab terrified workers asap or he will have to change position while gate dps escort them to townhall, switch back after this to previous position.

Sometimes it will be RNG but if you kill them fast it will unlock some chance to get more mobs at the end.

If you dps is low get more ilvl on gate dps.

With the release of legion this is easily soloable. Your troops are buffed to 110 so they put a beat down on the poor 100 enemies.

Trying to complete platinum solo at 110, and I cannot succeed so far for Shadowmoon. I had no trouble for the others (getting 1500-2000 score), but for Shadowmoon, both times I tried, I finished at 1200 ish. Anyone else have this issue or tips to get it completed?

Trying to complete this one by yourself at lvl 110? Here are some tips: (1) You don't need the missives to activate the invasion, you just need to go to that mobs area and kill enough of them to tick them off. But the missives mark the mob on your map, so might as well use them. (2) Get the Enchanted Crystal of Freezing and the Enchanted Crystal of Replenishment and drop one each at the two entrances. Not for you, but for your garrison fighters. As far as I know the Enduring Vial of Swiftness is not a lasting buff and you can only use it once so it is worthless. (3) BEAR TARTARE. Make it, Buy it, Eat it. You will be speeding around like the Flash. (4) Every time you hear/read a Tell that a building is being attacked or a Horde Spy or Rylak is present, go take care of them.

Finally finished this at 120 after failing at lower levels due to the Shadowmoon Clan invasion, which others have complained about. The mobs are tougher to kill than in other invasions, even with level 120 guards and don't spawn as much. Also, you have to close all 3 void rifts that spawn to get a +20 point credit. I went all out for 8 minutes and finished with 1377 points.

This achievement seems impossible at the moment. I had been working through each of the invasions during BFA without issue (as others had mentioned many you could literally AFK). Had difficulty after Shadowlands prepatch with NPCs now only scaling to level 40 and very few mobs seeming to spawn. Finally decided to try again today and went with an Iron Horde invasion as a test run as I recalled it was one of the easier ones to reach platinum with. I ran around non-stop, killing everything in sight and returning NPCs to the required spot, and only managed ~850 score. Not even enough for gold, let alone platinum.

EDIT: the amount of mobs that spawn seems relative to the number of players, managing this easily when using a full group of three players.

I scored 1100 during an Iron Horde invasion and somehow got credit towards this achievement (which requires a score of 1300+). It was the last invasion I needed for both 守城大師 and 無敵防禦者.

if you're wondering if AFK farm still possible, i have good news. I found out that 節慶裝束 level up your guards to 60. In addition, a similar item - 屍鬼偽裝 - does not work like previous one - the guards will remain at level 40.

As of 10.1.5, it seems like they have fixed the issue that not enough mobs spawned for the Iron Horde Invasion. Easily scored over 1600 today and reached platinum.

After struggling to get anywhere near platinum with Iron Horde Invasion in the Alliance Garrison, I left this achievement to rot in bug purgatory untill a fix would come.

Recently picking it back up again, it was pretty much the same. Except I noticed in the final "finish off remaining forces" phase, a few orc sniper npcs would be hanging out in trees, rooftops and on exterior walls of the garrison.
So this time I decided to focus these npcs, as it seemed like they would bottleneck the amount of npcs spawning if not handled properly.

I activated the Christmas Decorations, as Festive Outfits seems to buff your guards from lvl 40 to lvl 80 as of TWW.

As I suspected, sniper npcs would respawn before doing a full circle of clearing them, meanwhile guards were one-shotting everything on the ground.
By the time the last npcs were cleared, I had achieved Gold ranking, and went into Platinum with the end-of-event objective score tally.

Was this the problem all along? Was this never really truly bugged?
I don't know, and I no longer care. Achievement completed.

Is there any way to control/influence WHAT kind of invasion quest you get? I literally have gotten Goren for the last TWENTY FIVE times a quest was available. After all this time, I'm still just needing Iron Horde to spawn as the quest to finally get this achievement done. Any help is greatly appreciated!
