Actually for the Hallows End event I was able to put pumpkin heads on all races before the even started and I got the achievement. It said at the time it had to be during Hallow's End but it still worked. This may be something they have changed since then.

Check Your Head - as you can see, the Check Your Head achievement says *nothing* about having to be done during Hallow's End. However, this achievement does mention it must be done during Winter Veil.

FYI you just have be on the reindeer when u talk to the quest giver to turn in the quest. I did the actual bombing on my normal mount, without mistletoe "buff."

If your new to Ogri'la dailys like I was (a DK). You cant finish this achievement by doing Bombing Run quest. It has to be Bomb Them Again! in order to finish the achivement

This is a mistake made by blizzard, imo seasonal achievements should not requier that you have reputation X of a faction or made it to a special quest or whatever. I for one did not give a rats ass about Ogri'la. And now I can't get my seasonal achievement.

Absolutely annoying if you never did the Ogri'la sidequest. At 80, you should be able to 2 or 3 man these quests though, so hopefully if you haven't done them, someone else hasn't as well

Lotta peoples comments have been removed here...This is simple and to the point so if it is removed then it is done by imature people.

This DOES NOT have to be done while using the mount buff, you only have to use the reindeer buff at the quest giver when you give it in for the achivment to count. Very good. Do not use it for the hole thing or you may one out because you get blown out the sky and have to wait till next christmas...

I am a Druid.

Yes you need to buy a mount: ~~100g from SMV~~

You DO NOT need to be mounted as a reindeer to accept the quest (I didnt even own the mount when I accepted mine).

You DO NOT need to be on the reindeer mount while doing the quest (did mine in flight form in case of knock offs)

You ONLY need to be using your reindeer mount when you hand it in to get the Acheivement.

Therefore, takes only ONE piece of holly.

Complete The Crystals, which will unlock Our Boy Wants to Be A Skyguard Ranger from Torkus. Grab it and head to the Fel Crystalforge. Turn in the quest. (No need to grab the next part of the chain unless u want to)

Chu'a'lor will then open up The Skyguard Outpost. Turn it in to Sky Commander Keller
You should then notice Sky Sergeant Vanderlip will give you Bombing Run. (Don't turn into a reindeer just yet!) Grab it, and complete it. Grab Bomb Them Again!... no, don't turn into a reindeer yet! Go bomb in your regular flight mount/form. Once you have it finished... ON YOUR WAY BACK... turn your mount into a reindeer THEN turn it in.

Edit: My wife and I have since completed this achievement 6 times (3 alts on each account) using these exact steps.

at lvl 80, dont bother staying mounted for the whole quest. just run around on the ground and mount up next to the targets.

right before your bomb lands, dismount, you still get credit and wont get hit with the flak. first time i tried staying mounted and it took forever because i had to eat and bandage in between. for the actual daily part of it i did it this way and it went much faster.

finally got the merrymaker title, even tho its a little 'gay gnomeish' for me to actually display after tonight :P

Apparently you no longer need to do the 12 quests to unblock the daily bombing quest (November 4 2009)

In preparation of 2009 Fa-la-la-Ogri'la, I visited Ogri'la and noticed that The Crystals was available to me without having done any of the preceding quests needed to unblock it!

I followed up with:
Our Boy Wants To Be A Skyguard Ranger
The Skyguard Outpost
Bombing Run
and finally Bomb Them Again!

After the latest patch you don't get knocked off your flying mount if your hit by the cannons.
Should make it a lot easier for people to complete on characters without having an epic flying mount.

There is no requirement whatsoever to do any boss fights.

The only quests you need to do are:

The Crystals Which makes Our Boy Wants to be a Skyguard Ranger available, which makes The Skyguard Outpost available.

That's all. No group quests necessary. I verified this carefully on two different characters.

Fly to The Skyguard Outpost and turn in quest.

Pickup and do: Bombing Run
After doing the first quest the daily will open (same npc).

Bomb Them Again! <=- THIS is the quest you need to do to get the achievement.

No rep is required at all.

As of 2009, if you have not done the Ogri'la quest chain the quickest way to be able to do the pre-requisite quest Bomb Them Again! is to follow these steps:

Go to Ogri'la 28,58 Blade's Edge Mountains

Complete the quest The Crystals from Chu'a'lor This requires 5 apexis shards dropped mostly from the area/wildlife

Complete the quest Our Boy Wants To Be A Skyguard Ranger from Torkus. Requires 10 apexis shards dropped mostly from the area/wildlife, then buy a flask from either of the machines in the Forge camps to the north or south (29,81) of Ogri'la

Complete the quest The Skyguard Outpost from Chu'a'lor

Complete the quest Bombing Run from Sky Sergeant Vanderlip

Use the Fresh Holly or Preserved Holly. The buff from this now lasts between mounts/dismounts. Also, hits from the cannons no longer dismount you.

Complete the quest Bomb Them Again from Sky Sergeant Vanderlip whilst mounted on a flying mount 'reindeer' (at least for the hand-in). This is a daily quest, if you forget to have the festive mount buff, you'll need to come back another day.

Sorry... the above post is no longer true as of 3.3. Just tried it now...

I just posted this under Bomb Them Again... but druids may not use flying form when doing the 15/15 bombings, THEN simply using Holly on a land mount in an effort to earn the achievement without having to get a fliyer. I attempted to do this to bypass having to spend gold on some un-Druidic flyer... and after I did the bombings, I turned my Mistsaber into a Reindeer, handed the quest in, and got gold but no achievement. I'm off to buy a flyer and wait another day to turn this one in. I hope all the Druids read this and get their flyers before the last day of Winter's Veil.

Actually the posts above yours specify that the mount must be a flying mount. The check is done when the quest is turned in. Basically there are four points that must be completed for the achievement when speaking with Sky Sergeant Vanderlip:

Has the quest Bomb Them Again! been completed?
Is the player character on a flying mount when turning it in?
Has the flying mount been converted to a flying reindeer mount?
Is it during the Feast of Winter Veil?

If all are "yes," grats on achievement.

The catch is, with respect to your ground mounts, the achievement calls for a "flying reindeer mount." Using Fresh or Preserved Holly on a ground mount does not create a flying reindeer mount, it creates a ground reindeer mount.

A question for those of you skipping the longer quest chain for the achievement:

Has anyone noticed if this then locks out the quests included in the chain previously required to unlock Bomb Them Again!? As I intend to achieve A Quest a Day Keeps the Ogres at Bay, Flying High Over Skettis and On the Blade's Edge I want to be sure I'm not hastily taking myself into not being able to complete the latter and missing a lot of rep on the others.

As I understand it (I've never done the quest chain on any of my characters) it begins with the quest Speak With Mog'Dorg.

I'm pretty sure that is a reference to a really annoying Christmas Commercial for Cool Whip French Vanilla. On the commercial the song goes:

Just did this with me and my wife in group, and neither of us got the achievement. Does anyone else know if you have to do the quest solo to get the achievement?

Edit: I got this today by repeating the quest while not in group, using fresh holly. I don't know if it was just my experience or if you have to do the quest solo to get the achievement.

I just tried to start the chain to be able to do the achievement but the first quest is glitched. I have to collect the shards, first mob i kill drops 3 shards, but only 1 registers in my bag. I kill till i get what the quest tells me is 5 shards, but my bag shows only 3 but that I can also turn in the quest. I go to turn in the quest and it says I dont have enough shards. Anyone else had this problem?

Okay, for those of you new to this achievement, and want to get it as quickly as possible, here are the steps.

1) Make sure you have either 新鮮的冬青 from /kissing Winter Revelers, or the 保存的冬青 from the Winter Veil gifts.

2) Go to Ogri'la and talk to 裘阿洛. Pick up the quest, 頂尖水晶.

3) Fly around and look for 水晶礦工 and 莫阿格提取者. There are two Crystalfused Miners and one Mo'arg Extractor that walk together. Each one will yield 2-3 Apexis Shards, so killing all 3 can get you anywhere between 6-9 shards right off the bat. Why get more than the 5 required? Because you will actually need a total of 25 shards to get to the 再度轟炸!. After that, the % rate drops, and most will only drop 1 shard. But you will eventually get the 25 required.

4) Go back to 裘阿洛 and turn in his quest.

5) Talk to 托卡司 to get 我們的兒子想當禦天者巡邏員. When you get to the forge to get the 野獸的不穩定精煉藥劑, make sure you only get ONE flask, otherwise you waste the other 10 Apexis Shards you'll need for the next flask.

6) Return to 托卡司 and turn in quest, then you'll get the next quest, 父親的職責. Fly to Bash'ir Landing and use your last 10 Apexis Shards to get 巫士的不穩定精煉藥劑. Return again to 托卡司 and turn that quest in. Watch as his son 小托卡司, quaffs both flasks, and goes to the Skyguard Outpost to apply. (You don't actually need to follow Torkus Jr. but the following little animation with him is kind of funny...)

7) Go to 裘阿洛 again and pick up the quest 禦天者前哨.

8) Talk to 天空指揮官凱勒, And then report to 天空士官樊德麗 for the first 轟炸任務. Once that is done, pick up 再度轟炸!, and use either your 新鮮的冬青 or 保存的冬青 to turn your mount into a reindeer. Do the 再度轟炸!, turn it back in to 天空士官樊德麗, and Voila! You have拉拉拉-歐格利拉!

Edit: When I first did this many years ago, the person who lead me through had me running through this just as I wrote it down for you all (maybe that was necessary back then, I don't remember). While it may not be necessary to do the 父親的職責 part of it now, I had found it charming and a little funny. It did not tag on all that much extra time (especially if you are farming the shards from the Crystalfused Miners and Mo'arg Extractors. Besides, you can earn not only Skyguard rep here (if you are trying to get the Nether Ray mounts, you can earn Ogri'la rep as well , if you are going for exalted reps with everyone (both factions offer dailies...and with no cap on dailies now... ^_~).

I can tell this was the most annoying part doing this achievement. Thank god I got two titles at the same time: the Seeker and Merrymaker. :)

For those of you who have previously completed the quest line, you can go directly to Sky Sergeant Vanderlip (27.6,52,9) and take the Bomb Them Again quest as a daily. You do not have to farm any apexis shards.

I completed the quests previously while working on Loremaster and was not being offered any of the quests mentioned in others comments. I couldn't find any other mention of this problem so on an off chance I flew to the Sky Sergeant Vanderlip and it was being offered as a daily. It took just a few minutes to get the achievement.

With nothing done before this, only mounted my reindeer and flew to the "Skyguard Outpost".
There "Sky Sergeant Vanderlip" handed me the quest "Bombing Run" and the tools "Skyguard Bombs".
Went for my first bombrun without any problems. Turned it in and got the "do it again-quest". Took that DAILY-quest
and went for my 2:nd run. When I turned that in I got my "Fa-la-la-la-la-la-Ogri'la-ach."
Also noticed that 10 Apexis Shards disappeared. Had 45 before my last turn in, and 35 after.

PS: Keep your "Track: Low Level Quests" ON!

If you complete the 再度轟炸! without any flying mount and inc. buff Flying Reindeer you don't get the 拉拉拉-歐格利拉 achievement.

-CAN BE DONE WITH ALTS-

If you are having bad luck getting the Holy, this quest can be done on alts. Grab your alts and do the /kiss on the NCPs so that you get more chances at getting the holy.

Once in ogri'la, you only have to do the crystals quest, the potion quest (first one) and then a quest to talk to the skyguards should appear from the first ogre that gave you the crystals quest.

Best place to farm the Apexis Shards is Bash'ir Landing. Got 5 in 2 minutes.

Make sure you DO NOT attempt to complete this achievement while using the Wild Holly toy, as the toy turns your mount into a wild reindeer (like the Druid Travel Form Stag), rather than the flying reindeer needed for this achievement.

I was unaware that this would actually make a difference, so I completed the Bomb Them Again! daily, but it did not give me credit for this achievement.

With the 2019 addition, 野生冬青, this achievement is bugged and will not work with the new Wild Reindeer buff.

Currently, it MUST be a reindeer from 保存的冬青 or 新鮮的冬青 to count.

Save yourself waiting an extra day!

- I start from 尼麥茲修士 He is in Northern Stranglethorn 47 11 in Rebel Camp,
- 維爾海姆修士 on back of Blackshmit in Goldshire 41 65 Elwynn Forest.
- 克里斯多夫修士 54 54 near the fountain in Cathedral Sqare Stormwind City.
- 班傑明修士 Inside Cathedral
- 喬舒修士 Inside Cathedral
- 卡蘇斯修士 Inside Cathedral
- 克羅雷修士 Inside Cathedral in the basement

There is a whollleeeee bunch of disinformation about this post which should have been updated LONG AGO. If you are trying to do the "Bomb Them Again" quest and exalted already like I was, the quest giver is from the Sha'Tari Skyguard, not the ogres in O'grila. Do better wowhead, there is no reason for this information to not be included. Sky Sergeant Vanderlip is the NPC's name, you're welcome.

As I do with World Events... I've made an AddOn, which I uploaded to Curse, and it gives a ton of information about completing this World Event.

If you do care to download then I hope that you found it useful. Players unfamiliar with the layout of opposing capital cities will especially like my BB King information.

if your doing this nowadays. swap your flight style in the mount menu to "steady" .. then will be your mount changed to a reindeer

I just did all that and used the Wild Holly toy to turn my mount into a reindeer and it did not work.
I guess I will go find some holly.

I tried using Wild Holly (the toy) and it didn't work. However, I did dismount multiple times. Ended up doing it again on my alt with Fresh Holly.

Almost had a conniption because I completed the quest and didn't get credit - you don't get credit for the achievement for the normal quest, but you DO for the doing the daily version of it.

You can accept the quest first, then use a fresh holly. But you have to stay in the festive form until you turn in the quest. To be able to use fresh holly, you have to switch to steady flight style first.

You need to have looted 新鮮的冬青 from Winter Reveler.
Just go to any Inn and click on the Winter Reveler.
Then do the “/kiss” emote on them, and you will get loot.
It can take a couple of days to get the 新鮮的冬青.
You get one chance a day to loot something from them.
Complete RNG.

Go to Blade’s Edge Mountains in Outland.
Fly to Ogri’la and talk to 裘阿洛.
/way 28.86 57.45 Chu’a’lor

Get the quest The Crystals.
Kill 甘納格分析者 and Get the 5 頂尖裂片.
Go back and turn in the quest.
/way 28.86 57.45 Chu’a’lor

Pick up the quest 我們的兒子想當禦天者巡邏員 from 托卡司.
Fly to this area and kill mobs until you have 10 頂尖裂片.
Go to the 惡魔水晶熔爐 and use it to create the 野獸的不穩定精煉藥劑.
Head back and turn the quest in.

Go over to 裘阿洛 and pick up the quest 禦天者前哨.
Fly over to 天空指揮官凱勒 and turn the quest in.
/way 27.46 52.67 Sky Commander Keller

Go over to 天空士官樊德麗 and pick up the quest 轟炸任務.
Fly north into the Forge Camp: Wrath.
Make sure you are flying.
Use the extra action button to bomb the Cannonball Stacks.
Fly back and turn in the quest.

Pick up the repeatable quest 再度轟炸!.
Once you are flying, use the 新鮮的冬青 to transform your mount.
If you are a Druid, your flight form will not work. You have to use a mount.
Do the exact same thing you did on the last quest.

I had the Extra Action button with the 禦天者炸彈 disappear.
You go into your inventory and put the 禦天者炸彈 on your Action Bar.
