Very easy now in Dragonflight as you can skip the darkness phase.

Don't pop cooldowns at the start as the first phase is percentage based.
When the next phase starts (KJ flies up in the air) then look for the purple orbs dropping in the corners of the platform. Run to the first one and angle yourself so it pushes you to the next one. Don't worry about DPS here as KJ has 99% damage reduction.

Do this a few times then when KJ drops back down to the platform pop your CDs and kill him.

Can confirm this is now soloable even if you have no idea what you're doing (:

If you get thrown off and die, just go back up and try again. The fight somehow seems to progress, even if KJ's health is back up.
Kill voidwalkers whenever they show up.
The last time I went back up after dying I was simply able to nuke KJ and start the cinematic.

Pretty messy and disappointing way to do it, but an achievement is an achievement :')

Okay this is doable! You are dying to orbs and now you are here, but have no fear.

There's 3 rounds of orbs.

You have to IGNORE everything else happening, and constantly scan for orbs. you just need to get as close as possible to Orb 1, and ensure you get bounced towards orb 2 etc. Itll take a few tries to get the hang of it, but its really not as bad as everyone thinks. You basically just need to ping pong yourself from orb to orb! It will take a few wipes, but its very doable. Took me about 10 mins to figure it out and get the hang of it!

Solo'd as a frost mage - I saved my blinks for when I ABSOLUTELY had to, and managed to do it only using 1 blink. You should be able to do this without using any movement abilities if you time it all right, but def use em if you got em!

This is soloable on a Ret pally with an ilvl of 582 speced in Herald of the Sun. I just attempted it out of curiosity, and downed him before he even got into the air.
Just used wake of ashes and judgement and spammed any ability not on cd.
