Slice and dice is often overlooked, I'm guilty of it myself with my dagger rogue. Figured it would be a waste for such a minimal increase in attack speed considering my daggs were always 1.6 or lower, so I opted for Evis, and then Kidney after I leveled a bit.

Then I decided to try a sword-only Combat rogue and fell in love with the skill. The "protip" above is absolutely right. I would use a single combo point to get it started and the speed increase would shred anything. I find it amazing how much a rogue's playing style changes when you lose Backstab and Ambush. Until I get cheap shot I'm not even going to stealth offensively. For now, it is much more efficient to find a fast bow and get two or three shots off at an enemy. Gouge, back off and shoot then once or twice more. Which leaves us with a full energy bar, a wounded enemy, and one combo point. Rather than building on that, I always use it for SnD. Also, since most rogues are covered in +Agi, your bow damage and crit rating with it is actually reliable for awhile. Only did this up to 20 so far, not sure how it scales later on...

What if u have Ruthlessness, and then u use kedney shot which will give a an extra combo point. Will it be worth using Slice and dice when its imp?
