Imo, this is very useful in PVP aswell.
I always put it on against druids and pretty much whenever i have some extra rage and nothing to do with it.
Don't use it too frequently (except for on feral druids where i use it as much as i can when they're in bear) but it's still nice.

The beauty of sunder armour, and what most people seem to reject at first, is that it is of most use against high *health* targets.
The way armour works, is that every point of armour very very slightly increases the amount of damage required to lose a point of health. For example, at around 10500 armour (at level 70) it requires 2 points of damage to result in 1 point of health loss. At 21000 armour, it requires 3 points of damage, and at 31500 armour, it requires 4. (I am not certain if this "75% DR cap" still exists)
But to see why high health targets are the best ones to use this upon, we must consider the effect on raw damage. To kill someone with no armour, it requires 1 * Health raw damage. To kill someone with approximately 10500 armour, it requires 2 * Health raw damage, to generalize this, it requires approximately (1 + armour/10500) * Health in raw damage to kill them. Reducing the armour decreases the amount of raw damage required to kill them, but the extent of this reduction is not based upon how much armour the target has, but how much health.
Finally, a simple example...
Assume Sunder Armour reduces armour by '1'.
Assume 1 point of Armour increases damage/health by 1. // These are greatly reduced values for simplicities sake, replace them with the values from Sunder Armour and the 50% DR mark for live calculations at level 70.
If two targets with 5 health have 4 and 9 armour respectively, it will take 25 and 50 raw damage to kill them. A single application of Sunder Armour will reduce this to 20 and 45 damage to kill them. In both cases, the raw damage required to kill the target was reduced by 5.
Now, assume that you have two targets with 4 armour, yet 5 and 10 health respectively. It will take 25 and 50 raw damage to kill them. A single application of Sunder Armour will reduce this to 20 and *40* raw damage required.
As such, we can see that the more health the target has, the more effective the SA is damage wise, with armour being no consideration as to it's effectiveness at all.
This leaves some interesting considerations for the use of SA in PvP...
Firstly, the ratio which describes the raw damage required to lose one point of health, works exactly the same to describe the raw damage required to counter one point of healing (IE you can preemptively 'damage' incoming heals with sunder armour).
Second, it is a physical debuff with a 30 second duration. This means that there are only 4 effects in the game that can remove it (ice block, blessing of protection, divine shield, and divine intervention; the last of which is not usable in an arena setting, for example), and it is not overly difficult to maintain a stack with a simple debuff-timing addon.
With these effects noted, also consider, are there PvP environments which involve high health levels, and a large amount of healing? Why yes, the arena! And even better, one of the only 4 was in the game (barring death) of removing the SA debuff is prohibited.
This suggests that SA could have significant potential for an arena team more focused on physical damage.

In summary, Sunder Armour is more beneficial against high health targets than high armour targets.

It's worth noting that any applications of Sunder Armor beyond the 5th will still produce threat. So when you're tanking, don't stop at 5 sunders. Keep going.

According to its tooltip this ability does no damage. So would it be possible to use this against CCed targets without breaking them? And which macro would you need?
