Wear your best PvE gear. Enchant and spec for damage.
Use Wrath of Air, consumables (food, oils, elixirs), and get yourself a +spell damage trinket, ideally a Hex Shrunken Head, because few real PvPers could get hold of a Shifting Naaru Sliver.
Get the Berserking buff in a battleground.
Get lucky and stumble upon a warrior with Berserker Stance, Death Wish and Recklessness all popped on.
Get even luckier and have an enhancement shaman Stormstrike him and a shadow priest put Misery on him. Asking for a Ferocious Inspiration hunter and an Improved Sanctity Aura paladin might be too much.
Unleash an Elemental Mastery nuke.
Hope for a crit in the maximum range of your spell damage.
Press Print Screen.

If you accomplished those 8 simple steps, congratulations. You've won the game.

this just seemns lovely...why don't ppl spec in elemental combat? eh?

評論來自 Thottbot

It's quite insane but I for example like it better close up and dirty, as in enhancement :-)

評論來自 Thottbot

Do you guys think it would be a good idea to go mostly into Elemental and then the rest of my talent points into Enhancement?

hes right u know

I will go for 31 points elemental. for opening with a 2000 smg shock. then going melee with windfury and Lightining shield. elemetal is nice cause 5% extra crit on Lighning shield and 100% extra dmg. that is like 500! in a crit / then i have exactly 20 points in enhancement. think this will work fine!

評論來自 Thottbot

bah in the long end we shamans just end up as healers...

評論來自 Thottbot

hmm.. so u dont want an instant cast heal incase u get into tons of troube? god u guys are tons of noobs... 21 in resto then go w.e u want, thats a good spec.. dont go like mostly enhancement and elemental, that is one of the worst things ive ever seen!

評論來自 Thottbot

1200 max. intstant heal owns yee

評論來自 Thottbot

that doesnt matter if ya got a Hand of Edward the Odd tho

評論來自 Thottbot

i like the 21 resto build too.there are also some 'combat' talents like regen while combat or impr. reincarn. and the preq. for NS, with the crits, u get heal crits AND light crits. the do wtf u want but starting resto is i think the best idea. the only reason i'd go enhance would be parry, but i prefer elem.

評論來自 Thottbot

The 21 restro build is preference, but if you are hardcore PvP like me, you will know that Elemental/Enhance is the way to go.

frankly in my honest opinion you would be better off doing the enhancment/elemental build.
In my cases I can get a huge crit off and then walk up and usually boom dead, especially if Windfury goes off.

as for Restro as a whole.... Priest and Druids are there for that reason in my opinion at least :)

100% crit chance. Well, its nice to start a PVP encounter with this one. you'll get (depending on your equip) somethin around 600 extra Damage. That's it. 600 Damage every 5 Minutes.

Compare this to natures Swiftness. An instantcast every 3 minutes. Even if you dont crit and cant chainlight multiple enemies...you'll do around 500 damage, every 3! Minutes.

600 dmg -> 5 minutes
500 fmg -> 3 minutes (a lot morepossible)

do the math. I suggest putting more points into restauration, because this is a shammys main use. Manaflood > Elemental Mastery. And let me say some words to the Enhancmentshammys out there:

We are supporters. We heal, and improve our Group with Totems. And if our little damage is needed (ain't the case 95% of our time), you cast some lighning strikes and shocks and thats it. Sure you can meele. And if you put all points in enhancment you become somewhat of a weak tank. But think again. You do 3 things. Heal, Cast and Meele. Now Healing and casting share the same attributes while meele uses totaly different ones. do you wanna abbandon heal and cast for doing meele and still do no damage compared to real meele classes? Oder do you do, what you're goot at, namely casting and healing? Because you can't do both.

Don't roll for high DPS Daggers and Weapons. Don't go for strength and agility, and don't enchant your weapons with crusader. It's a waste! Shammys suck in Meele. Accept it.

Get yourself a high manaregeneration and make sure you have a lot of int, spirit and some stamina. At best have lots of +heal/+spelldamage on your equip and then you play your class the right way. If you still don't belive this and think i don't have a clue...a last Proof for you. Look at the Stats of our Epic sets and see what they allow you to do good. Trust me, it's not an accident those Stats are the way they are :D

If you have elementall mastery, you have elemental furry. I.e. My shocks crit for 1k + I have shocks crit for 1500. Also with the talent Chain lightning crits all three people. So if you have tier 1-2 gear and emphirical power or the zg trinket, you can CL crit for 2400. I am a healer in all raids and buff yes. But I can also own almost any class. (damn warriors and locks are tough) Without Elemental I still crit shocks for over 700 damage. We arent just healers and buffers were hybribds. In PVE Our job is to heal and buff yes. In pvp we can own faces and throw spot heals in the process. It's really good to be versitile... Learn2Play

ok think about it even thought it gves you a 100% chance of crit its 5 MINUTES OF COOLDOWN. by the timw it cooled down you would of forgot.

P.S. why is StormStrike so bad? im mean if you have a potion but 30% of your mana isnt that bad is it?

評論來自 Thottbot

Well is Enchantment that bad i am an lvl 29 shaman and havent got windfury yet so is enchantment bad? is it better to specc elemental combat?

評論來自 Thottbot

I went SS (StormStrike) myself and havent looked backed. If i wanted a caster i would of made a mage. (which i did LOLz) I wanted someone that could serious melee dmg and heal. And SS isnt a mana waste. SS is godly due to granting me an extra hit. Right now i have 3700+ mana on my sham lvl 59 it cost me 410 to use SS which is a litte less then my new frost shock i got "460" mana. So, its up to u if u want. I've proc'ed with wind fury and hit SS and WF proc'ed again and in total did over 2k+ dmg. SS isnt a waste. Its a rare build but the people that go with it tend to be pleased with its work.

評論來自 Thottbot

I am like 4 levels away from SS on my shammy, and I am eagerly awaiting it..

plus, if I don't like it I can always respec!

評論來自 Thottbot

in the 11.1 patch the end elm talent will be a 3min cooldown +P

評論來自 Thottbot

geez, that is nice xD

i prefer Natures swiftness though..

either instant heal or CL/LB wich is about the same amount of dmg the crit gives..

so NS is kinda better since you can also use it as heal and even instant!

評論來自 Thottbot

y dont' u guys just put elemental mastery and natures swiftness?

評論來自 Thottbot

Yeah, elemental spec is really good, even though people say it sucks. This move is awesome. (Search "Shaman 25k" on youtube, you'll see a cool video.

ele/enhance sucks man, go 40 elemental 21 resto its best for pvp, natures swiftness plus ele mastery rapes. In arena pop BL trinkets ele mastery chain lightning then natures swiftness instant lightning bolt and instant cast earth shock....if they all crit they should be dead. putting talents in ele/resto will increase ur crit chance of all lightning spells by 11%. With the right gear u can have crit chances of up to 34%-38% crit chance on all lightning spells....just my opinion for pvp

評論來自 Thottbot

lol. Sry, but how are u gona "kite" rety pally when he just dispel Frost Shock. Then he put BoF. you waste GCD on purge.

He can stun/ repent/arcane torrent u from cast this, then bubble for 12 secs..lol immune. WIth crap armor sham got, u get burst down fast.

best spec is 21 in resto so u can heal your ass fast. If you get the "jump" on the pally he could be toast though...literally!

評論來自 Thottbot

I have never lost to a pally with my Enh shammy, the key is
massive burst damage, and watch what he is casting ( heal yourself when he bubbles and earth shock to stop other heals).
I also like to purge seals but is not nec. I got alot of love
for the pally though, i have one myself. Oh, and dont forget
you totems :)

This is an awesome spell but i would not respec just to have it
i mostly PvE with my shammy and mostly solo so i tend to stick with enh spec

評論來自 Thottbot

anyone know if you can use this along with Natures Swiftness? i was wondering if i could put those together and make an appom pyro sort of effect lol.
