Spirit is also a useful stat for moonkin druids, if engaged in endgame pve content they will surely be speced for Intensity to get 30% of their Spirit-based mana regen in combat.

It also becomes a valuable stat in raids due to priests' improved spirit buff, a caster who stacks spirit will end up with higher spell damage than someone who ignores it.

Possibly the nicest new badge item across the board for any caster, I'd call it a must-have as it allows more plentiful options for gearing across the board.

This ring is horribly, horribly itemized. Why so much hit rating? It's glomping up the item budget so badly that the ring gives no real damage upgrade for most classes that are easily hit-capped (like spriests) over the one off Headless Horseman.

Maybe if it had half the hit rating and some haste it'd be a great ring, but as it is now unless you're trying to go destrolock in T5 content this ring is a total and utter waste.

(Keep in mind this is an ilevel 141 item. You shouldn't even be able to closely compare it to a rep reward, nor a reward from a T4 boss)

For damage and hit alone this roing is well worth it and with in the stam and int, it is a must have for most caster dps classes.

I'll agree wholeheartedly with all my fellow Affliction Locks here. Personally, I want to load as much spell hit as possible (and a bit of crit for good measure) on a few interchangeable pieces like neck, rings, off-hand, and trinkets. That way, I can keep the rest of my gear mainly focussed on spell damage which works for pvp, farming, etc, and then swap in the spell hit gear when I go raiding. For that reason, this ring is perfect.
