Not true... I´m almost full t4 now (need gloves) and the belt for example beats the one that Mags drops.. only bracers I´ve seen that really beat Ebon drop in the eye.

This set totally rules with the hit bonus and will beat anything before t4

Sure, there's armor out there of superior quality that may out do these Dragonscale LW epics, but these aren't bad. No, definately not stellar by any stretch, but they'll suffice. Think of the amount of effort it takes to raid for gear as opposed to "skilling up". A lot more work and effort involved in a raid, so of course the rewards are greater. It's just a matter of how you look at things really. Still though, I'm looking forward to making these for myself. Look at it as testament to your skilling prowess. =) Have fun peeps.

In comparison to the veteran's chain girdle this belt is not really that amazing. Lose lots of stam a bit of int and either way you socket the gems your gonna lose either some crit for a bit mroe ap or vice versa. It sucks cause I want the hit rating set bonus but I like my veterans belt better : (.

This set is really good for ppl's alts that can't raid. My drood is my main and he gets to see all the sexy gear from SSC and the Eye, but for my hunter, the occasional (and I mean occasional) Kara run is all she gets to see.

I don't like to pvp either and doing pug heroics is almost always a waste of time. At least with this I have a guaranteed way of getting tier 5 equivalent gear even if it costs me quite a bit of gold.

But I use my hunter to grind already, so grinding for primal fire and shadow isn't hard.

This is a PVE set for sure, who cares about STA lose, you shouldn't be getting hit anyway, for my enhancement shammy this is wicked set.
