I too have run this instance once every night or two for the last two weeks and have yet to seen these drop. I hate feeling like the drop is broken, though I doubt it. I've yet to see but one rogue on my server who has them. Can anyone confirm these are still actively dropping to ease my paranoid mind?

This and the Wastewalker Tunic https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/item=28264 are a must have for a combat rogue, even for someone who is already raiding. I believe so because if you put +8 hit rating gems in the sockets, you will get a total of 91 hit rating from 2 pieces of gear. That is almost unheard of even amongst epics.
(5 sockets so 40 hit, 16 hit on the shoulders, and 35 bonus hit from 2 piece set bonus)

I know for a raiding rogue hit is everything, thats why I'm looking at all the +hit equipment, wasterwalker shoulderpads being one of them. I didn't know you could put any gem color in the socket, so for that I thank you.

This item looks a lot better than Sun-Gilded Shoulderpads!!!
Although it is true that Sun-Gilded Shoulderpads are much easier to obtain.

Got these finally after completing Heroic Crypts several times and I was extremely happy to get these! Massive hit set bonus brought my hit rating to 305 (19.21%)!

This set has higher armor then usual, which hints that it is for druids (though definitely not tanking); regardless though, it's still great for rogues too, both classes should have an equal opportunity at this set.

I'm a rogue and if you like hit rating, which you need so badly in Kara, I recommend 2 pieces of Wastewalker because of the +35 hit rating set bonus for just 2 pieces!

With the +35 hit set bonus, that's a trade off of +59 hit for -18 Attack Power by switching from Assassination to Wastewalker; WELL worth it imo. I'd still recommend 2 OTHER pieces of Assassination so you can get the +16% haste on cheap shot and kidney shot; go for the leggings and gloves. Stay away from the Helm, but get Helm of the Claw instead.

Yeah, I have to say as a Rogue that I'd pass on any of these to a Druid in the group. The Assasin's Set is Rogue designed, and this is more general Melee DPS. Realistically, I'd take this set for PvP over Assasination, but I'd pass to a Melee Druid over personal Greed on this.

Honestly... I am a rogue, so nobody will say that I'm druid and frustrated to loose it against a rogue and all that...
But frankly, this set is all designed for a rogue... If you're a rogue, go for Assassination set which is all designed for us!

Reduces cost for Eviscerate & Envenom, increases haste when using Cheap&Kidney shot... "ROGUE" is written on it although there is no class requirement (which is stupid).

Anyway, if a druid wants it, I would pass on it.

If people can't see why a rogue would want this, you either do not understand rogue mechanics, or you are a blind druid who lost these to a rogue. I won't say this is a completely rogue set, but the hit rating is absolutely amazing. I would only pick up two pieces, for the first set bonus, and be done with it. Rogues need hit rating. 308 to be exact if you are properly raid specced (will need more after 2.3 with changes to weapon skill mechanics) So please, anyone who says a rogue shouldnt be allowed to roll against a druid on this set, do your research before speaking next time.

the only piece of the set that doesn't drop from heroics is the gloves, which drop in normal shattered halls.

this is a good set for both feral druids and rogues. unlike the assassination set it doesnt have specific rogue set bonus' on it so rogues pretty much cant QQ at feral druids needing this.

The is D3 set is actually intended for both rogues and Feral Druids. Most gear is shared by the two classes. i.e. the badge of justice rewards.

the waste walker armor is for druids and rogues but the assassination armor is way better for rogies then the wastewalker
