besides the obvius uses in pvp it also amazing for any caster, honostly i would say locks first but that is only becuase of the high stam, overall though just about any pvp caster or mage/lock for instant running would use this. because we all know that druids dont count. j/k

I would asume it drops from the mage side of Twin Emps as Vek'nilash is the mage version.

Obviously, off the one named Vek'nilash. It dropped for us on our first emp kill the other night. I'd say it's slightly better than the Choker of the Firelord for sustained DPS, but the crit is very valuable in PvP since burst damage is so important.

As a Holy Paladin this is one of the best endgame necks available. I'm not sure if our group will decide if its Mage/Warlock Preference or if Paladins will get a crack at it

1% crit chance = 1% free heal.

crit = 210% damage and 30% mana back from spell. also, ignite stacks between mages for massive damage (if there are multiple fire mages, you can get ignite to stack many times).

Ignite stacks a max of 5 times. Every crit after 5 ignites, regardles of dmg, will refresh the ignite. so if you get 5 ignites and it ticks for 5000 then no matter how many times you refresh it it will always tick for 5000
(but 5k dmg every 2 seconds is INSANE)
so yea <3 ignite. I wish it stacked limitlessly though.

better than choker of the Fire Lord for PVP yes (has more stam than choker, and a crit instead of extra 6 damage, and crit owns in pvp)
but not better for PVE (has less int, and crit causes extra aggro)

just upgraded... or should i say sidegraded, from my beloved choker of the firelord.
kind of depressing that it's not all-around better than the firelord choker which i've had forever, and it drops from one of the hardest encounters in AQ40. but that pretty much sums up all the loot in AQ.
needs an upgrade IMO -_-

Got my CoFL last night, and was thinking about the upgrade to this baby, but all I can think about is: fire mage. By the time you get to Twin Emps these days, your guild better be thinking about Naxx, and if you're thinking Naxx, your mages better be thinking Fire spec. And Rolling Ignites - what Mortal Strike is to healers in PvP, Rolling Ignites is to mobs in the end game -> death.
Fire Mages, bid your heart out for this baby. Its godly.
