the poster above is incorrect, it will increase your mend pet healing, but the total healing, not per tick, as with all HoTs. And serpent sting will get a bonus to total damage, not individual ticks, like all DoTs.

The +Damage and Healing will add to serpent sting, explosive and immolation trap, mend pet, and it will increase arcane shot damage, not just the cost.

Wel this set is pretty useful ....hunters gain a lot of crit chance and speed and stam from it ...not to menchian the rest of the moderate boosts.....anyway the AQ sets are the best if u have the full set + some other epic pieces from sets (Giantstalker or Dragonstalker) and they are made for pvp and battleground...very good sets ....like the bonuses and armor :D

seriously though whast up with the Increases damage and healing done by magical spells and effects by up to 9. its not even passive u have to use it to make ti work why do hunters need that besides for arcane shto unless there thinking of making us a magical class and giving us like ice shot and fire shot that be cool

The Strikers set looks very interesting. A full set of Strikers with some spell power enchants and you could have a decent alternate build and shot rotation around Arcane Shot and Serpent Sting. I think the shoulders look like clown shoulders, but the rest of it looks pretty cool.

If you had a full set of this and filled in the rest with Dragonstalker, compared to full Dragonstalker you would:

If you want to look cool with the hunter set you need other parts that fit to the outfit.

I'm not entirely clear on that one. On the one hand, allakhazam lists all shots and traps as spells, so this might mean that the damage boost applies which would be very nice.

On the other hand, the damage done is arcane only for barrage and arcane shot and as you might have experienced, being silenced does not stop me from firing stings and shots, so they might not all be spells - could be effects though in which case the dmg boost would apply.

But even without the dmg boost, set bonus is nice, total AGI-boost is 161, with +3% crit.

Compare this to 145 AGI, +4% crit from DS (plus 3 and 5 set bonus) for the same 5 slots, and 133 AGI, +3% crit from GS (plus set bonuses) and it's actually a pretty good set.
