Improved Concentration Aura in the protection tree also gives you a 5%, 10%, and 15% chance to resist silence and interrupt effects.

This is great for PvP support, just cast Concentration Aura and Blessing of Sanctuary. https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/spell=20911#z0z

Then heal and cleanse away, the horde will have a heck of a time because now they have to stop your heals and bring down who your supporting at the same time.

From my testing, Concentration Aura does not affect https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/spell=13819.

Hi all you paladins out there I'm a noob pally.

Does this aura stack with spiritual focus? (the talent that gives Holy Light and Flash of light a 70% chance to not be interrupted by dmg). If so does this mean that It would make holy light / flash of light uniterubbtle with this aura on?

Hmm this can be improved by another 15% so that makes 50% to ALL group + spiritual focus = 120% to not loose casting time... imba ? :D

soo wouldnt it be pointless to spend talent points in this since the intital skill is 35%, and spiritual focus (maxed) is 70%, thats 105% percent. unless if pallys have another spell that isnt heal based.

In the early levels where FEW will spec holy and rightfully so might I add, (Been there and done that) this aura is excellent for solo duty when you have to heal yourself. Especially since paladin heals at lower levels seem rather weak, you do NOT want to take 5 seconds to cast heals because of a single dual wielding mob wailing on you, and this aura makes getting off that damn heal easier. Since Auras are mana-free, nothing stops you from going devotion again once you're done.

Does this stack with spiritual focus or not? It seems a lot of you are arguing, could someone who has tested it please answer?

Ye man this aura stacks with any other talent of each class that avoids interruption. I suggest you to try it in a BG with 4 balance druids surely they'll have 70% chance to not lose casting on wrath so u put on this aura and bang: no more interruption at all. So just focus on one target at time and let the boomkin kill him... 4 wraths will do at least 2k dmg (with 62-63 druids), hopefully one will crit so its an easy way to own the other team.
Until they recognise your strategy and starts focusing on palla... =)
Anyway is hard to find 4 balance druids in a BG togheter :P

Im guessing(not entirly sure) that this stacks with a fire mages Burning Soul talent(gives fire spells a 70% chance not to loose casting time when you take damage) so that would make them pwn even more

Did anybody make good expierience by using this aura (skilled) instead of Retribution / Devotion while Tanking?

As the improved Devotion Aura became sort of useless after reaching a certain level of base armor, I am thinking about dropping the 5 points and using 3 for the improved concentration talent.

The silence and interrupt reduction seems quite nice as a silenced Pally Tank can be deadly for the whole raid/group. I woult guess that this aura also helps in fights like the maiden in Karazhan (downed her a couple of times without this aura, but I presume that this makes the fight a lot easier).

It would be great if people could post their expierience using this as the primary tanking aura.

(retribution is not really neccessary as you should generate enough aggro through Holy Shield, SoV/JoV, BoSanctuary, Consecration and Improved Devotion Aura only gives about 1% more dmg reduction @70 which is not really worth 5 talent points imo)

This aura in my expierence healing does stack with the spiritual focus talent. I think that if you are tanking you'd be better off with ret aura cause it causes holy damage.

Only question I have here is: Does this stack additively, or multiplicatively with the 70% ignore pushback time? Additively would make this a 105% ignore chance (untalented). But multiplicatively it would make it a 80.5% chance to ignore (85% talented).

No one seems to be commenting otherwise, so should I assume it's additive?
