Aight, people want White Dark Iron? White Orcs? Aight! Here's your white dark iron, and your white orcs!https://imgur.com/a/mBaobcn
I really want to see the Beard Options for the Dwarves now and hopefully, we get to have a little more added to the Dark Irons (Dark Iron Main here don't mind me haha)
It would be cool if they updated the totems for Dwarf Shamans. The current one looks lackluster. The did this for Draenei recently. Bonus points if they have 2 different kinds you could pick from. One Bronzebeard themed and one Wildhammer themed.
Dwarves aren't my favorite, but the tattoos and hair colors are looking really pretty!
seems kind of odd we have had only light skin on some races for 15 years, but suddenly it's a problem and they need to add dark skin. Are gnomes going to become multi-coloured as well. It doesn't even look good, they just slapped dark skin on the same models.
Black Dwarf male and Bald Dwarf female.Awesome.Will barber do that?
It seems that this was part of the idea of adding the runemaster class but are now those resources are being used for cosmetics and other parts of the game.
no wildhammer allied race confirmed.
Personally, I was fine with the addition of the Mag'har orcs in BC when they suddenly told us "yeah, green isn't the original skin color of orcs, it's brown".Why? Because they actually gave us some Lore to back this up. Mag'har were an actual faction. But the black blood elves? The black dwarves?I'm a Lore-buff, and I can't tell you what the black dwarves are. Are they a new clan we've never heard from? Or are we supposed to believe they've always been there, but we just 'never noticed' (a nice way to say it's been retconned)?I took SO MUCH *&^% on the Twitter of Taliesin&Evitel, everybody treating me of racist and stuff (some were legit social justice warriors too, I mean, they had SJW in their usernames, you can't make it up at that point XD)... but all I'm asking is for Blizzard to give us a proper Lore reason for these additions, otherwise, it kinda is pandering.I feel like the Warcraft Lore is taking a bad turn.I personally do not like how they pull truck-loads of new things out of their collectives @$$€$ at every expansion, and we're supposed to be like "sounds good, makes sense". Here's an example. The Vulpera. Never ever heard of them before BfA. Not even a tease, nobody ever mentioned they existed, nothing.Because Blizzard never thought about making such a race before BfA, it wasn't planned yet.And SUDDENLY, we discover ONE ZONE where most of them are, and it's like in Doom when a portal to Hell just opened, and suddenly, there are Vulpera everywhere, in the bloody pirates of the south seas, and for some reason, they become an Horde race. And most people ate it up because "Oooooh kawaïïï! It's so fluffy I'm gonna diiiiiie!".Same logic applies to WAY TOO MUCH stuff, like the Sabrons, the Drogbars, the Vrykuls, the Mantids, the Yaungols, etc etc. The list is long. Most of these, like the Vulpera or the Sabrons, you remove them from the story, it doesn't change a lot, really.Blizzard does this all the time, and I feel like everytime they do it, everytime they retcon something, a small fragment of the Warcraft IP crumbles away. All it would take would be for them to actually conceptualize this stuff more in advance, and actually make an effort to have NPCs mention the things.Like, the best parts of an expansion, for me at least, it's always the stuff I'm expecting because I already heard about it, read about it or seen it in a previous game. Like Hellfire Citadel, Daggercap Bay, Icecrown, Grim Batol, the Tomb of Sargeras. But Shadowlands? We're supposed to have 'been' in the Shadowlands at least twice during Wrath of the Lich King. Did they actually talk about Kyrians, Venthyr, Maldraxxus and such? Nope.Same with Sylvanas. We now know about the Jailer from last BlizzCon. But did we actually hear about him in-game before? Or Oribos, or the Arbiter?Nope.Yet we're supposed to think that Sylvanas knew about the Jailer since the end of Wrath of the Lich King and nod-up like "sounds good, makes sense".And the stuff we actually knew about for a LOOOOOOOOOOONG time, when it finally arrives, it's SO anticlimactic.Look at N'Zoth. Basically been teased since... I dunno, Classic? As far as I can remember, the first mention of his name was in 4.3, but we knew there was more than C'Thun and Yogg'saron since Classic. All this time, and when he's finally freed, we destroy him in ONE patch. Could've easily carried one entire expansion. Same with the Burning Legion : Argus could've been an entire expansion. Azshara too.Yeah, I'm sorry, but I don't care as much for "the Jailer" as I cared for the Legion, Azshara and N'Zoth.Anyway, all of this rambling to say that Blizzard still has a long way to go in terms of integrating new content to their universe, and these skin-tones right there, I'm afraid they won't have the treatment they deserve.
