He's surrounded by about 3 Marsh Dredges/Lurkers. Soloed this as a 62 mage without a hitch. You'll find him at the lowest point of the cave; you can jump down from almost any spot if you want to get to him quickly.

It's really easy because the Sporeloks help you...his spawn time is sorta slow but he spawn at 72,94 deep in the cave for me.

I personally thought this quest was completely easy. The spawn rate wasn't all that slow for me, and wasn't surrounded by anything. Easily soloed by a level 63 rogue.

I think you have to be friendly with Cenarion before you can get this quest. Once I hit friendly, about 7-8 more questgivers just popped up.

EZmode on 62enh shaman.. in fact the attack speed is so slow, you can get in a LHW if need be with no cast slow-downs. ALSO make sure u have the quests: "A Damp, Dark Place" and " Saving the Sporeloks"

i recomend that u fight ur way don the cave instead of jumping down cuz when u jump u will get agrom from all 4 mobs at the same time if u go fight your way u can simply pull the 2 first mobs andafter that pull the lord and the reamining.

I soloed him 62 Shammy (easy) only healedmyself 2 times - 3 shooted the guys aroung him then took him out in 4! Not that hard. If your a Mage, Rogue, Warrior, or Shammy you can do with 1 person. If your a feral Druid, you can do it with ur eyes shut cause feral druids are too good and i hope they get nerfed in next patch! - To all the Feral Druid Ally's that ghanked me - LOL

Soloed as a 62 warrior easily. Shot at the add to the far right, killed the two adds and got Lord Klaq all by myself. Didn't even have to use Recklessness.

Somehow managed to pull him alone with Curse of Agony, despite the 3 guys standing directly next to him.

This quest is a piece of cake for a BM specced hunter.
Here's what i did:
Make your way ontop of Lord Klaq, not down to him.
If you have 3/3 on Hawk eye you can reach him from this distance.
So mark him, put on Eye of the Beast, get your pet down there and cancel Eye of the Beast.
Put on Bestial Wrath, rapid fire and Indimitation (For aggros purpose).
Just bomb him with your arrows until he dies.
It's many adds down there so if your pets health is below 50%, Mend Pet him/her and the adds will aggro you instead.
While they're on their way up to you, the Sporeggar npcs will aggro the most of them, lay a Frost Trap if necessarily.
When Lord Klaq is dead, just kill the others and you're done :)

Side notes: The Lurkers and Dredgers don't deal high amount of damage and they're slow so your pet will do fine down there, however, use Mend Pet anyways just incase. They can do high amount of damage if they do critical strikes.

This is very easy to solo as 62 feral druid, along with A Damp, Dark Place (https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/quest=9788) and
Saving the Sporeloks (https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/quest=10096).

Use cat form and stealth to kill your way to lord Klaq. When you get to the outer chamber, use faerie fire or moonfire to pull solos until you only have the 3 guards and Klaq. Wait until they are mob-attacking a sporelock. pull Klaq with faerie fire, and use bear form to kill him. He's not elite so he dies before you need frenzied rejuvenation. Pop rejuv, kill the remaining mobs. Other sporeloks will help you though they don't do much damage.

I just soloed this quest as a 62 shadow priest. Probably the easiest group quest ever. I pulled 2 of the lurkers away and killed them, waited for the Sporelings to spawn and then took down Klaq before he could even run to me and hit me.

I was able to pull Klaq with a Vampiric Touch as a lvl 62 shadow priest. None of the adds aggroed when he ran through them.

Althoug they're very close to each and it's easy to suspect that if you aggro one the other will follow.

This is not the case with this quest.
According to the comments above you will aggro maximum two of them.

just did this with my 62 hunter. Quite easy since it's possible to pull Klaq without pulling any of the mobs standing around him.

Did this as a level 61 troll frost mage, pulled the two adds with Couterspell and killed 'em off after that. On Klaq I popped Berserking, Icy Veins and used my trinket and then 3-shotted him with frostbolts. It's a really easy quest.

This quest was really easy. Just did it with my 61 warrior. Just walking around trying to find the chest for https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/quest=9788 stummbeled across the mob and killed him. I was able to pull him and one of the Lurkers near by. Didnt have any trouble at all with killing both of them

I rly didn't get why it was suggested to do that q in group. well, yes, Klaq is guarded by two other mobs, but its a peace of cake for a 62 lvl feral druid. didn't even have to heal myself, just used my trinkets' abilities. easy xp :)

Pretty much the only danger for this quest, is when (or if) you jump down, you aggro the three on the lower level.

Never fought an easier boss mob in all my days. It says "group" in the quest panel for this, but you can do it solo with complete ease. Did it as a 64 druid: used cat form and had him as good as dead before he even got the chance to really put the hurt on me

This quest is an absolute joke for a Prot Paladin. When I killed him on my 63 Protadin, I pulled all four at half health and half mana and forgot to buff myself. Healed once. Was wearing almost all OL greens. Don't worry about this one ; )

Klaq is not an elite but he has 5 or 6 guards so a group would be good or if u are a warlock use your voidwalker, send him in, kill klaq, take as many out as you can before the void dies, sacrifice, run or take whats left down.

I soloed this as a level 62 Balance Druid. I got a bit lucky...there are three guys around the King, but they were being attacked by sporelings so I picked one off and didn't aggro the others. Then once I hit another they all ran after me, but my Treants did a good job of keeping them all busy while I took care of the king.

Sack of flour is about right.

Should not be a group. I took out guards 1 by 1. The rest just stood there. Then killed the Big guy. It seemed that the Sporelocks distract everyone.

This quest is Super easy. Solo'd with a 62 enhancement shammy.. pulled him and 1 add at once and never needed to heal. DO NOT group for this it would be a waste of xp!

Still real easy if you're a pet class..

If there are too many adds around him.. just wait for some Sporlok to spawn random and draw agro from him and his adds. Then DPS him down then.

72.94 is correct. You can pull his adds separately from each other and him. I was able to clear all his adds with just him left.

72, 94. He's in the pit just through the entrance to the cave. His spawn time is almost exactly 6 minutes.

This mob drops very fast. Solod as a 62 rogue. Didnt even bother w/ the 4 adds. Just went in, popped evasion, and went to work on Klaq. By the time he was done, I hadnt even reached 50% hp.

Pre req was Umbrafen Village quest from Ikeyen, whihc I did at level 60.

Than I got;
Safeguarding The Watchers from windcaller Blackhoof.
Saving The Sporeloks from Lauranna Thatr'well.
A Damp, Dark Place from Ikeyen.

Al three are next to each other at Cenarion Expedition. 80.64.

Did all three in the Funggor Cavern. Entrance at 74.91.

Box was at 70.97.

Lord Klaq was at 72.94.

Made level 61 while in here.

Each kill gave 15 reputation with the Spore.

10,050 XP at level 61. 2 gold and 70 silver. 250 rep with Cenarion Expedition.

Saving The Sporeloks

Not a problem. Just drop into the pit. Aggro was minimal at 62. Pulled mobs one by one. Heck, the sporeloks did most of the work. They were already fighting Klaq when I got to him. I just helped them out.

(Sporeloks were red to me, but I didn't kill them. And they didn't mind me being there either!)

To complete this quest you need to kill Lord Klaq and return to Windcaller Blackhoof at the Cenarion Refuge.

Follow the road to the south and keep moving until the path splits. Turn to the west and move a little then turn to the south and search the area south of the road.
There is a small lake and a path to the Umbrafen cave should be. Follow the path, enter the cave, there is a gap in the middle, you can spot Lord Klaq just down there.
You can move along the edges and reach the area with the quest mob or jump down straight to the mobs if you can defeat them with no problems.

Descrizione

In your travels, you might have encountered some of the expedition's watchers. They do the majority of the field work: documenting the unique inhabitants of the marsh, collecting samples, and making contact with sentient species.

The safety of the watchers is paramount, <class>. We've had to recall the watchers we sent to explore Funggor Cavern to the south, because of marshbeast attacks. Warden Hamoot believes that killing their leader, Lord Klaq, will bring a swift end to the attacks.
