Level 24 rogue and level 24 warrior did this without tooo much difficulty, the Chalice is at 81,48 behind the big alter thing.

I got hammered left and right on this one. I tried coming in the back way with my l25 Paladin, but there was no way to get to the chalice without drawing aggro from one of the two stationed mobs. I think I'll wait until 30 to try this again.

The chalice is located at 81,48.

For those without co-ords it's on the left hand corner of the large altar. Watch out for stealthed Satyrs

From Kayneth Stillwind go south and west. Don't go as far as the main road. You'll start seeing satyrs, some are stealthed. Look for dark stone ruins. There's a glowing, floating shard behind them which apparently has nothing to do with the quest. The chalice is small and on one of the stones. I killed about ten of the satyrs and got it. Pretty easy. 31 priest.

I soloed at level 24, not easy but can be done with a loyal pet's help :-)

I found the Chalice on the lowest main tier of the big altar, at the back right-hand side looking from the valley floor.

Kinda blue in color and on one of any of the 4 corners of the temple looking thing in the Satyr "compound" itself. Combine this with the quest to gather the Fel Wood for maximum exp for your troubles

Just did this one last night. It took approximately 20 minutes for the chalice to respawn - long enough for the satyrs around the alter to respawn twice.

Quest was very easy... just stealth as cat form. There is one of the Chalice things that have no enemies near them. That is the one I took. You can actually get pretty close to the stealthed enemies without them noticing you.

Interesting quest. The satyrs cast a curse called "Curse of the Bleakheart" (or something like that) that lasts for approximately 2-4 minutes and periodically gives you "chest pains." Well, "chest pains" 1) Stops a bandage heal, 2) Stun/freezes you in place, 3) Takes you out of stealth and 3) Interrupts any spell you are in the process of casting. Wow. But wait, there's more..

Just as you're trying to sneak around (for the Fel Wood quest as well), you suddenly freeze, come out of stealth and then can't fight as 2 or 3 satyrs pile on. Lovely!

One other thing. When you get a satyr to 5-9% (approximately) of health, he runs away, and always comes back with a friend. If you're stunned/frozen in "chest pains" mode, you can't chase him and just have to wait for the friends to come to the party and hope you are out of stun when they return. My 31 Druid killed about 8 satyrs in a row this way. The good news is that this method will eventually bring all the satyrs in the camp to you, so you won't have to go looking for them.

The bad news is that you'd better be able to heal, drain life or plan on using a lot of bandages (oops, sorry, can't use those because of the Curse...) or potions. This is an ideal quest for a Druid because you can tank in Bear, shift/heal, tank, shift/heal, etc. but for someone who can't heal, plan on killing all the satyrs you can because the Curse will make your life miserable otherwise.

So simple. LVL 28 mage went around the back... then jumped down the hill, had to kill 3 people. So easy.

only took me forever as a 29 preist cus a jerk hunter was all like "i think this guy should die every he even thinks of rezzing" other than that it was a peace, mages have de-curse so thats why its so easy fo them.

the critters got me with a weakened heart blues curse, 2+ minutes. I am in front/south of the big red building and the chalice is on the right hand side in the building (east side).

Once i think I found it on the west side of that place. Also to get the chalice, you have to go around to the back some, especially if you are short.

Lvl 28 Hunter, but I seem to be having a lot of trouble with this quest. I ended up(after wandering around for awhile and getting killed several times by horde) being in some demon alley place, and I finally just gave up. I'm going to have to try this again soon.

L24 Druid

Tried running in through the back twice, kept dying right next to the Chalice. As ghost, I jumped onto the tier right above the Chalice and rezzed. That gave me enough time to grab it, while the mobs were on the ground trying to get me.

I then jumped and ran with little grief.

Went in with my 26 rogue to sneak around. Funny how those big 29 spiders just see right through a 26's stealth....

A friendly Draenei shaman had been chopping the satyrs into little pieces but I helped her out of a gang deal (they like to do thing in clusters) and we managed to reduce the population temporarily.

Picked up the wood; it respawns so quickly you can almost just run between two piles.

Accidentally did 1/2 of the Tower of Althalaxx segment ("Trapped Souls") because one of them was right behind the red ziggurat/altar. That was kind of fun.

After 20 minutes, the chalice still hadn't showed up (the shaman was on the same quest but just a little bit ahead of me). Looks like there could be a bit of a respawn issue there, so be prepared. Had to leave and go to a wedding, so maybe I'll come back. Oh joy. Just can't wait.

had a difficult time, it is hard to clear to get the chalice, by the time your finished clearing you will start to have repops. best thing to do is clear all but one or two, FROST NOVA them and loot, rather then clearing all the cloakies near the chalice, because this can be very difficult especially at a low lvl.

Just finished this quest as a lvl 25 druid elf..hehe. I first turned into cat and proweld the seen...it was hard to kill the satyres but not impossible if u are alone with them. Found the chalice, killed the two closest satyrs just nearby and took the item...proweled out as a cat again. A bit tricky but not impossible..pluss for good exp!

ok, this is supposed to be a lvl 27 quest but it's doable at 23, as a hunter i have my black lion humar. ease slowly towards the altar where the chalice is, once you get close enough you will see some of the stealthed satyres, send pet in and make sure to keep him healed if he gets a little low on health. these guys attempt to run when low on health. make sure you put some sort of sting on them so they run slowly, that way you will be able to kill it before it runs into another stealthed satyre, there were about 5 satyre's i had to kill before getting to the chalice.

I ended up going east on accident instead of west. After 20 minutes trying to figure out why a 70+ elite was killing me I found out. I blame american public education. Anyhow I ended up killing 1 guy and getting back with ease.

as rogue it was easy.. I did everything stealthed and killed nothing.. I had the chalice in a few minutes at lvl 25..

Ha, this quest is easy!

This is the trick:

You run in , and go to the big atlar with the chalice in it, and die. (graveyard's not that far)

After that, run back (as a ghost) to where you died, and go to the back of the altar, you should see a BIG root from a tree right behind the altar , jump on it, and run up and jump onto the 2nd ledge of the altar then click respawn, you'll notice that the enimies can't attack you while you're on the second ledge either, so just go around each corner to find the chalice, and once you find it, take it and run!

this quest was easy i jumped in from little town just kill a couple mobs. It is by a big red tower and can be found on any corner of the base. Soloed as a 29 hunter but can be soloed much lower. :)

I thought it was easy. I found the chalice easily, no enemies in sight, then out of nowhere, one enemy appeared, well i almost killed him but he ran away and aggroed about 6 other enemies. U can guess the rest. So make sure there is no enemies in sight.

This is pretty simple if you can get to the tower.
Just ignore all the satyr, get to the tower and die, resurrect on the tower, and get the chalice. You'll need a hearth to get out easy!

such a joke of a quest.

i waited for it to respsawn whist i was in wisp form, res'd and then used a potion which makes you invunerable from all damage for 10 seconds......and then when i tried to grab the chalice it said 'cannot use whilst invunerable' and then the 4 stealth things apepared and pwned me.

Ok Enter Satyrnaar then go to the little red shire on the one of the corners there should be the chalice but if its not there it hasn't respawned yet (takes about 10 minutes) and they're are 4-5 stealthed Satyrs guarding it so beware (Saytrs are Lvl.26-28 proper name Bleakheart Shadowstalker)

so i finally found it and i'm clearing everyone. as i'm pulling the last guy a lvl 60 priest runs up and takes the chalice.

anyone know how long until it'll be back up?

If you go here with a group or if lots of people are trying to get this at the same time, be prepared for a long wait. Blizzard dont think these things through. Facing the monument i found it on the first tier shelf on the right hand side which is in the east (east=front) of the red ziggurat like structure. The second time the chalace spawned with about a five minute spawn time it appeared on the opposite corner from where i found it the first time.

I got the quest at lvl 25 and did it at lvl 26... so attain lvl 27 doesn't seem to be correct.

Go into Satyrnaar. Kill single and pair 27ishes to get to structure that shows red on minimap. There's 3-4 stealthed demons guarding it that can be single pulled. The chalice is in the structure. 2200exp for level 30 priest
