It was sitting on the corner of the lowest level of the red shrine, right next to the Purple Lotus.

I kept thinking it was the red glowing/floating gem behind the shrine itself but it isn't.

The chalice can be found to the right up the hill after you enter Satyrnaar, Look on the back side of the big red shrine. If you are with a group prepare to camp there for a while and kill respawns because the shrine disappears after each person uses it, and it respawns very slowly.

It's on the base of big red pedestal in the middle of the area with all the level 27-28 satyrs. Back, and to the right (northeast).

I recently done the quest you can acctuly die near the cup and get get back ur body and have enough time to grab the item before you die again i was at 25 at the time im sure you can do it even at 22 maybe?

chalice respawn rate is like 15 mins.... i was in party with a friend and we had to kill demon respawns 3 times before the chalic showed up again.

I done ths old school, fight my way in, fght my way out, i didn't die once, or need to do anything special .
For a while after reading these comments i was confused how you found such a simple quest so... challenging, or felt the need to run in and die, then run out again (and die)and then it hit me:
This is an alliance level 20-30 quest, so sorry for your time
