Just like the tauren spirit guide quest, you summon a spirit wolf near the dead fel orc's body from the quest "The Assassin" and you follow it all the way upto Mag'har Post directly north of where you stand.

This is a really easy quest, just follow the dog - I don't even think there are any mobs that will aggro you on the way. It's worth noting however, that on my server at least, the Horde and the Alliance are no longer letting each other quest, so this quest in particular, given its popularity, is worth taking a buddy or two on if you can't stealth past the opposite faction, as you're bound to run into plenty of them.

On subsequent characters, you may be tempted to ride ahead to the Mag'har Post. Well, don't. :-)
The spirit wolf gives off an aura that you need to speak to Gorkan.

As everyone stated easy quest, IDK but I couldn't finish it the first time.

I went to click Complete Quest and got nothing, so I had to abandon the quest and start over, annoying but in the end no problems.

Ok, as a 60 Tauren Shammy here what I found -
after the whole quest is over u will gain -
65,650 xp
2g 70s
1200 rep with the Mag'har
825 rep with Thrallmar
500 rep with Orgrimmar
one of 4 items -
1) Ceremonial Robes (116 armor +22 stam +23 intel +14 spirit, and +up to 26 dmg and healing by spells)

2) Tribal Hauberk (485 armor +19 agi +28 stam +19 hit rating and +38AP

3) Thunderforge Leggings (756 armor +19 str +19 intel +28 stam +up to 22 dmg and healing by spells)

4) Clefthoof Hide Mask (179 armor +33 stam +23 crit rating +44 AP)

The spirit wolf brings you to 31,27...no need to follow him, no fights on the way either...just follow the path up the mountain

That's for the corpse (where you summon the wolf).

i have found fel orc corpse,but i can't summon the wolf anywhere.BUT i have found an ODD THING=the wolf i haven't summoned exists in another place, but he dosn't do anything,just stands!check out the scrrenshots

When you use the totem to summon the wolf, mount up and run ahead of it a little, it will speed up to near epic mount speeds. I blew past a hunter on foot with my spirit wolf!

33, 43 is the dog and YOU MUST FOLLOW HIM DONT GO ON AHEAD

You have to talk to this guy right away or they turn unfriendly after about a minute and won't talk to you afterwards and then you don't get to finish the quest. I think you have until the dog fades away to talk to him.

Found out you can repeat this quest if you don't talk to him in time.

To complete this quest you need to use the Ancestral Spirit Wolf Totem at the location where you found Krun Spinebreaker's body.

To proceed through the quest you should go to the exact spot where you had found Fel Orc Corpse during the previous quest.
Place Ancestral Spirit Wolf Totem and wait for a ghost wolf will spawn. You should follow it for a few minutes, it will lead you to Mag'har Grounds village.

For those doing this in TBC Classic and was not paying attention to the previous quest, do not run to the Mag'Har Post like it shows you on questie. Go to the dead orc you had to talk to in a previous quest, The Fel Orc Corpse is at 33.61, 43.52.
Use the Ancestral Spirit Wolf Totem.
Then you just follow the dog back.

Sidenote: My captcha for this post was a to identify fire hydrants. How funny.

You can just run to 31,26 as soon as you've summoned the wolf. Don't wait for it.

If you are a druid, use Travel Form and walk backwards. You will match the wolf's walking speed exactly.

So why is Mag'har Post full of boxes and barrels with the Horde insignia on them? Is the story that that insignia predates the corruption of the orcs and the invasion of Atheroth?
