Those without mining or jewel crafting may want to bank these 5 fel iron ore for the Shattered Halls Key quest line that starts at level 68. The quest requires 4 Fel iron bars to complete, so this reward gives you nearly 1/2 the ore you need.

Just a quick note to say hunters CAN use Track Treasure to find these. Just head straight on to the road, very easy to complete without taking on anything.

Freelighter sort of stated it but, despite the fact this npc is sitting right at the base of thrallmar these quests are open to alliance players as well as horde.

Seems they randomly appear as you retrieve each one, After running along the edge of the ravine I saw only 2. I grabbed the 1st one at about 48,37. Ran along the edge of the ravine and then saw 2 more. Very simple. Biggest challenge was dodging the worms.

It's a very easy quest, you don't even have to fight the Marauders. So it's a good reward for collecting 6 parts.

No, that's not a typo, both horde AND alliance can pick up this quest.

after spending alot of time looking for these i finally found them around 47,41 area in small brown crates....hope this helps....!

You can see the crates from the top of the wall of the fissure and then try to time your approach to the crates when it is safer -- but not easy. Be patient.

48,39 is the middle of the fissure you should be in :P
the crust busters are easy to avoid, the boxes are all over the floor, collect 6 and just go back :D easy stuff. and i love the quest name, too xD

By the way do not confuse teh Great fissure with this fissure.. once you grab the quest it should be within few feet from there.

I started seeing them at 47, 43. Always close to a worm.

The crates are in de fissure just south west (48,39) of Foreman Razelcraz locations. Easy to find. Just watch the underground dudes when u walk around to collect the parts.

To complete this quest you need to find 6 Shredder Spare Parts and return to Foreman Razelcraz.

Turn to the south and you should see a small canyon extends farther to the south where are underground mobs.
Both Shredder Spare Parts look like small wooden crates and can be found mostly along that canyon and some are outside to the south.

I can't believe I left Booty Bay to come to Outland. My cousin Screed Luckheed promised me I would make a fortune, but instead he flew off in his zeppelin and left me here to try to scrape a living out of this mine.

How am I suppose to make a living here with helboars and demons and fel orcs attacking all the time? My shredder here was broken yesterday and the parts I need to fix it were stolen by fel orcs. They took the parts into the fissure to the southwest and may have dropped them there.
