Aldor offer a very slightly superior shoulder enchant for DPS.

Aldor also offers a decent staff at Revered, Bastone degli Auchenai. This is okay for starters, but Main-Hand/Off-Hand combinations are better at level 70.

Scryers offers one of the best rings, Anello con Sigillo del Veggente, at Exalted, and a powerful trinket, Gemma del Sangue del Veggente at Revered, although you probably will not need its high Spell Hit due to getting so much of it from talents.

Scryers are usually the less popular faction, making their reputation turn-in items often cheaper than Aldor equivalents.

I'm curious about this list, as looking at all the best pieces have 0 hit rating, I get that shaman's have 9% hit rating from talents and totem of wrath, but there's still 7% hit missing. Wouldn't a BIS list contain at least some options that get you that 7%?

Please mention in the guide that the Hood of Oblivion is part of the warlock dungeon set Oblivion Raiment.
Please don't roll need against a warlock on this item, only if you asked him/her before. Imagine how frustrating is when one of your set items finally drops, and someone with a different class gets it.

Why is it that i can never find a Pre raid bis list that takes into account Fresh 70's ? One that I don't know only uses Normal mode dungeons, Quest items and the like. Not the Profession's BS that most people don't even have. Like for this sham list. You have an Engineering helm. Leatherworking set and Tailor made epics. A new player who is fresh wont have access to most of that list. Nor most of the alternatives. Especially on smaller servers where prices are insane.

How about a fresh 70 list that does not have profession requirements, Exalted Requirements , or PVP requirements? Ya know things that take FOREVER to get done. Something they can work on while they are working on the Rep, Or Profession's or the pvp. Don't get me wrong the absolute BIS list should stay. But the pre raid you have looks like the phase 1 bis you have . Lots of epics. Lots of time to get them and lots of gold to achieve.

Just my 2 cents. For what ever that's worth.

Totem of the Void does drop from Cache of the Legion, but that is not in Botanica. It's from Mechanar (which you can see if you click on it)

A correctly-gemmed Tidefury Shoulderguards comes very close to the shoulder options listed once you factor in gem bonus and crit/mana from the additional +int. It's worth considering as a 4th option.
