Hi, I get this quest in like 15 Badge cénarien de tactique but I make a mistake : I deleted it so I completed the quest but can't return it... I'm now at 75 Badge cénarien de tactique and still didn't get the Briefing tactique V .. I'm so mad, so be caution with this one !

Got two of these quest scrolls, in a row, after I had 20 logistic badges.

I collected 53 Tactical Badges so far, but never gained Tactical Task Briefing V.
I suggest, that one has to kill the Templers to get NR. 5 as a reward, since I have not yet done any of those quests, only stealth runs for scout reports. There�s of course still the possibility that I�m extremely unlucky.

edit: Well, after all I gained Nr.V after completing another stealth run. At that moment I already collected 68 (!) tactical badges. So, it really seems to be random, and yes, it�s a tiny, little, cute "drop rate" for that one ;)

i got 20 badges now and no briefing V and i did all kind of tasks scout runs, killing the prophet, killing templers, killing the mauraders...
that just suxx

i hate it theres no patter thott realy doesnt help when theres no pattern eh well atleast im not looking for one now and i hate it when people say they get 2 in a row ive done like 50 and still havent gotton it

I got it after doing the 3 scouting quests. These are the only ones I did. Might of just been lucky. Time to grind rep :(

The briefings are Unique, and there are only 10 of them. Just do the field duty quest 10 times, you'll get a different briefing each time, then you can choose which ones to accept into your quest log and discard the rest.

33 and no number 5. im exaulted, have 15 combat, 20 logistcs and 20 tactical and still have to go back to that stupid bug over and over again for this to drop. WHAT A JOKE!

I got my Tactical Quest V today off the Scout Zora report. I had 66 tactical badges. FU Blizzard!

Is it able to get the quest direct from Field Duty or does it just come as followups after handing in a completed Tactical quest?

I accidently threw this one away trying to clear up bag space and my quest log. I needed it so I continued to do the Field Duty quest multiple times to try to get it again. After seeing no hope turning it in, and seeing no help from the other comments, I decided to do some research.

Based off this page for Tactical Assignment (The name of the reward item from Field Duty) you can scroll down to 'Contents' and see that these only contain 1, 3, 6, 7, 9, 11. (Although I think I've gotten 8 from it before but oh well.)

Now based off this page for Followup Tactical Assignment (ONLY from finishing a Tactical Assignment) you can go down to 'Contents' again and see that you get 2, 4, 5, 7, 8, 10. (Although 7 has a 0.3% chance, I think it was recorded by error)

If the following are true, 5, the one we all need, can only be gotten from a Followup Tactical Assignment. After doing a few Scout Quests, I got one so I believe it's true. Hope this is helpful for others! Good luck.

Got with my 22th tactical badge. It might be noteworthy previous 21 "failed" badges were from soloing templars and prophets, while the one which finally netted me task V, was the only one got in party (the other guy was summoning Earthen). Though it's most likely accidental.

I got this after stealthing in to a scout. Its just random. Thing is, I prolly dont need the mark of Cenarius for a LONG time. I do want the mark of Remulos tho ... of course I cant get that one. BTW, it took me about 3 followups to get task V; was neutral at the time, and solo.

YEAH i have don fiel duty manny times and you have right!

you get 2, 4, 5, 7, 8, 10 from followup quests.

so if you are locking for "V" doe followup quests..

I get these every now and then, and I've long since made my Mark of Cenarius. I was just curious if you get the standard 50 rep for turning in this quest, or if it's more because it's "special."

Basically, should I trash this, or keep it for when I do Dukes for the extra rep? If it's only the standard 50 rep, I probably won't keep it.

I've done like 50 handins now, also completed 21 Tactical Quests as followups.

NEVER got this Tactical Task Briefing V, which is the only thing i need for the Champions Battlegear now :o(

This can't be random, this is bugged somehow.

Got this as my second tactical quest, followup from the first one ( Rapport de reconnaissance de la Ruche'Zora ). Halfway through neutral with CC, so most probably it's just random if you get this or not.

I have done a ton of Tactical quests. I have all 20 of mt badges required for my champions battlegear. Not to mention all my logistics and combat ones. I'm already exalted with this lame CC faction. I'm sick and tired of not getting this damn quest. I hate bliz. Anyone have any idea of another way to get this quest?

I don't think you need a certain rep, I just think you have to get it by the luck of the draw.

After 62 attempts and 29 Cenarion Tactical Badges, I finally got this quest!

I thought it was from the Tactical Followup Envelopes only, but I got it from a normal Field Duty. Just keep trying and you'll get it eventually.

As a rogue ,do a couple of field duties until you got the 3 easy scout report tasks which'll take about 3-5 minutes each , turn them in , and check the follow-up tasks for Briefing V....then rinse and repeat. I am at 12 Tactical badges and already found 2 of them. I only did scout reports, and the templars ( which you should only do if you have all 3 of the follow-up tasks , because their summon is random - they are soloable with the use of 1-2 cooldowns).

Hi. As a Horde Paladin, I was farming Courroux de Cénarius. The Briefing tactique V dropped after my 21th Badge cénarien de tactique. I was handing in the quest Rapport de reconnaissance de la Ruche'Regal I got from this item Briefing tactique VII.

It took me 4+ hours, then after a 30 minutes break, I came back and I got the quest.
