I still think a wand is more useful then a spellstone just for the mere fact its a ranged attack thatt akes no cast time so its handy for killing runners or conserving mana while grinding.

i usually use a wand, but when i see a lock coming at me i immediately switch to spellstone. this way if he dots me up i can just use spellstone to dispell all of his dots, hopefully before he can get unstable affliction off...

so does this mean locks basically can remove any curse, poison, disease, ect on themselves? that rocks. i always hate those random diseases you get in the game? also, is it burnt when you epuip it or can you epuip it and switch back to a wand then use it over and over?

no its only magic effects like dots exept curses and it removes fear too >D, and hunter traps

While soloing, I use wand, and on PvP I use the gem.

Spellstone is great against priests, locks, and mages. Doesn't dispel everthing - be careful when dispelling Unstable Affliction 'cause that can kill you. +crit is awesome for Firelocks, too.

As an Undead this is even less useful with Will of the Forsaken racial.

sigh for all you rtards out there the spell stone is for pvp use only "ONLY" if u use it for pve just go and shoot urself for being so retarded, pvp situational arena fight come out see a lock or s priest switch in combat to stone half way through the fight when they totally do u up dispel etc or whichever order u want, those who use this for anything else other than pvp obviously dont understand wands can give up to 30+ spell damage 10+stam 15+ int etc with some spell crit

Nothing dispells rez sickness dude but time
its main function is to increase your spell crit rate while you have it equiped
use it while its equiped and it negates any harmful magic ( yes like devour magic ) but is destroyed
Its much better than a wand in PvP as your not likely to run low enough on mana to use a wand. in fact, i dont recall, ever, even in dungeons, using a wand. Even when the tank runs off and needs help and im near OOM i have NEVER used a wand as a warlock. If you dont know how to use life tap and then drain life to get both up well you should try to learn.

And as a note try making a macro for your feltard to use Devour Magic on yourself instead of using this. I doubt the 8 second cooldown is gunna hurt you much with a dot.

If your not using a feltard at this level... in fact, any level during PvP may the gods have mercy on your soulstones
