This guide will list the recommended gear for Enhancement Shaman DPS to acquire while they progress during the fifth and final phase of The Burning Crusade Classic, which contains gear sourced from Sunwell Plateau, Zul'Aman, Black Temple, and Mount Hyjal, plus other pieces from previous phases like Serpentshrine Cavern, Tempest Keep, heroic dungeons, arena PvP Gear, professions, BoE World Drops, and reputations.
Best In Slot Gear for Enhancement Shaman DPS in Phase 5
Unfortunately, Enhancement
萨满祭司
Tier 6 set is not very good, outside of the three pieces you can get from

, which makes skipping the 4-piece bonus a strong option. Regardless, using
破天护肩
in order to get the 4-set in a much easier way than having to loot Eredar Twins' shoulders is also a very competitive option.
Doing Arena PvP is very valuable for the gladiator weapons, which are among the best in slot options, and even the much easier to get old season weapons are very competitive, so make sure to prioritize farming them if you still need weapons! Phase 5 brings multiple gear options that are close to the absolute best in slot pieces, so feel free to diversify your gear according to what drops in your raids.
Meta sockets
are unique to head slot pieces and accept meta gems (instead of regular gems). Only a single meta socket may exist in any given piece, and many pieces come without a meta socket at all.

is the best meta gem, and scales well with the rest of your gear, as it acts as a multiplier on your damage output.

Should Enhancement Shaman DPS Choose Aldor or Scryer for BiS in TBC Classic Phase 5?
Shamans can pick both

without much penalty. The Aldor shoulder enchant is slightly better, but the difference is minuscule from the Scryers enchant when considering your full gear stat bonuses. In general, it is best to pick based on which faction is cheaper to buy reputation materials for, as Aldor, for example, can often be extremely expensive due to having the favored shoulder enchant for most specializations.
Aldor offer a
very slightly
superior shoulder enchant for DPS.
Scryers are usually the less popular faction, making their reputation turn-in items often cheaper than Aldor equivalents.

are the best helmets available in Phase 5, with Cursed Vision of Sargeras being a great alternative.

from the Badge of Justice vendor as well, which are all decently close in power.
Alternatively,

can be used to obtain the 4-set Tier 5 bonus, if you are still gearing up.

You will finally replace your Phase 1 trinket (should you actually have gotten it) along with any other trinket for these two new shiny toys:
Blackened Naaru Sliver
and
Shard of Contempt
. The former, unfortunately, is just as coveted as
Dragonspine Trophy
. The latter will be slightly easier to obtain, as it comes from the Heroic version of the new dungeon in Phase 5, Magisters' Terrace.
Previous BiS trinkets will still hold you over well, so if you do happen to have
Dragonspine Trophy
, continue to cherish it!

having a 0.5-second cooldown on being consumed,
having weapons of matching speed
is very important in order to minimize attack desynching and maximize your Flurry uptime. Most of the weapons we list below have either 2.6 or 2.7 speed, and weapons with the same speed are meant to be used
together
, whenever possible.
Hand of the Deceiver
and
Mounting Vengeance
are the ultimate weapons in Phase 5, having both the highest stats and two sockets each.
Dual
Brutal Gladiator's Cleaver
or
Vengeful Gladiator's Cleaver
are very potent, and one of the best alternatives, as is dual-wielding
Syphon of the Nathrezim
.
It is important to note that the
Season 3 Gladiator weapons can now be purchased without rating requirements and for discounted Arena Points
, making them much easier and more reliable to get.

I dont think you know what Best In Slot means. Its the single best item in that specific slot. 2+ items cannot not share that title. One will be better than the other.
You also didn't even mention the Shattered Sun Offensive neck

Good list, very close to what I would expect.
Food for thought: I would prio the socket bonus on the OH instead of the shoulders for your blue gem/yellow gem, and you could have bold spinels on the remaining sockets.

Hey man love the guide ! We dont have any mentions towards mgt and the items there should they not be included on the tier lists of alternatives for phase 5 or are they just bad ?
