Итак, только факты!
Фармил этот замечательный меч себе на трансмог 5 месяцев.
Прошел весь путь эмоций от надежды до ее полной потери.
И вот на пятый месяц перед сном решил зайти в Накс дабы по быстрому прочистить один квартал... Выпал на пачке мобов в паучьем квартале перед Мексной.
Радость выражаемая мной в обильном слюносоплепускании не знала границ... )

The pizza cutter of the Narru. After the rouges all passed on it, I grabbed it to experiment with as an off tanking weapon.
I think the correct term is "wowwee!" This is probably the best one hand OT weapon available at the moment. The sheer amount of ag means its mitigation is up there with the Level 78 tank weapons, and the AP is a nice addition to thunderclap. Toss on a titanium weapon chain and you can approach hit cap and maintain uncritability.

Is it appropriate for a hunter to take this over a combat swords rogue? I just got outrolled by a hunter, am I am seething mad at the moment, since the hunter only took it for stats, and I think a rogue would get much more utility out of it considering he, you know, swings away with it and all.

Had two of these drop in quick succession in our heroic Naxx tonight, and both went to the same death knight. Dual wielding these has had a few people mistake him for a titan's grip warrior; while some one handed swords are longer, these are rather large in both directions.

As an unholy dual wield DPS death knight, the two of them came to about a 200 DPS increase.

DW DK here that just got outrolled on this drop by a hunter, for whom it was a statistical downgrade for both hands. He also replaced it minutes later with Cryptfiend's Bite.

Sigh.

FFS, if you're a DK that rolls on this to switch from 2h spec to dual wielding, at least make sure you're not going to DW it with some caster green you picked up off trash a minute beforehand. If you've actually got something else to use it with, fine. Please, don't make the rogues cry.

One of our tanks currently has this as his main weapon, the stats and speed are terrible as they cause spiky threat and rage generation. Any tanks contemplating this go for the red sword of courage until the lifeless blade drops for you.

Don't make the rogues and DK's sad pandas.

I'm a DW DK and i got this weapon about two weeks ago. It has been working very nicely for me so far. But, i was wondering if I ever had the chance to receive two of these. Would it be smarter to stick with a faster wielding weapon. (1.6 swing speed). Because this weapon is pretty slow at 2.50 swing speed. I mean DK DW is all about the speed i thought. So, would it still be a upgrade or a down grade? Thanks!

PS- I think this weapon looks *!@#ing tight!

ok as massive as they are and as hard as it is to sit down with them. but they helped my DPS so much, with two of them, one with mongoose and one with beserk my DPS went from 2.3k to 3.1k :) defo worth the size.

ah.... i finally got one of these today, my guildies (which by what they did were much better friends than i thought)
helped me run through almost all of the trash mobs in naxx 'til i found one

I just got this sword last night from a trash mob near Patchwerk. Rolled on it before I saw what it looked like. After I won it, all raid members guffawed over its looks, dubbing the sword, the "Bubble Blower". With wounded pride I polished it, sheathed it and shortly thereafter, headed towards my priest...

Upon looking at this sword today, I noticed a slight red glow to it. I currently have no enchants on this sword.

I am sure I will get downgraded with this comment, as it is not helpful at all, but , just a small cosmetic feature I have not seen before on this item. That is all.
I submitted a screenshot of said glow, so that you may take a look.

It seems that this glow's color(red,blue,purple,orange, and so on) is affected by the lighting around it, very odd.

Little trivia: model of this weapon was already added in patch 2.1 which introduced the Black Temple. It was tagged with name with word northrend.

I can confirm that this still drop in 5.4. Dropped from trash after plague quarter's first boss. Lucky enough to get one in 25m Naxx normal.... on my hunter... (typical blizzard troll) Well I will save it in my bank because it is precious and it will always be my prized collection.

Hoping that hunter head and chest token will drop next week. I have been doing Naxx for the past 4 weeks and never seen a single hunter head or chest token. Now at least I know that the RNG God has not abandon me. Good luck to you all who wants this sword!

Dropped in Plague quarter off of trash. Too bad I had my hunter and not my warrior, as this would make an awesome mog for dual wielding. :)

EDIT: Got a 2nd one about 5 minutes later on trash in the same quarter. Either Blizz has bumped the droprate up, or the gods of RNG have an odd sense of humor - knowing that a hunter has little use for one - or two - of these.

Just recently got this on both of my warriors.

Step 1 - Farm all the trash before the first bosses in each wing
Step 2 - Zone out and reset the instance
Step 3 - ?
Step 4 - Profit!

First drop took 3hrs of farming, Second drop took 30mins.

So, you found out about this weapon from somewhere and thought, "That's actually really cool. How do I get this?" Here's a quick overview:

Silent Crusader drops randomly from 25-man trash in Naxxramas. Not 10-man, and as far as I know, not the bosses.
At level 100, Naxxramas is beyond trivial (EDIT: at 110, even more so), even on 25-man mode. ~~DPS specs will clear it faster, so if you have one, use it.~~ You now do so much damage that your spec largely won't make a difference.
You can brute-force it by clearing everything up to the first bosses and resetting. If you need the weapon now and can't wait, this is the better choice.
You can also go the "casual" route and simply clear the entire place on a weekly basis. If you just want it for your transmog collection at some point, or if you want to work on boss achievements, do this instead.

You outgear all the bosses so their mechanics don't matter, but here's three things to keep in mind:

For Thaddius, you simply need to kill his two minions at roughly the same time, and then jump on over to his platform. Trust me, you'll make the jump.
For Gothik, there's a trivial gauntlet for a few minutes before the boss phase.
For Kel'thuzad, there's also a gauntlet for a few minutes.

Just FYI regarding how many runs it might take you. It took me three runs of resetting Naxx to get this. I also got BOP leather boots and a dagger in that amount of time. Actually one on each run. Your mileage may vary, but maybe this will help someone who might be wondering about how often one of these items drops.

I just want to confirm that as of 18th Feb. 2016, this awesome thing still drops.
Been running in and doing all trash before the first bosses in every quater (Military and construct have the most), then out and resetting, vendoring stuff.
I finally got it in from the 3 spider packs in Arachnid quater.
Took me about 25 resets.
Hope you Silent Crusader hunters out there have better luck than me, and that this info is useful for anyone interested.

Безмолвный сокрушитель or should I say the ELUSIVE Crusader... Sheesh - took me 33 runs of just doing the first packs of trash before each first boss of each Quarter (took me about 4 and a half hours).

Finally dropped for me from a Mad Scientist in the Construct Quarter by Patchwerk. Now to make like the Cookie Monster and bake my foes some sweet sweet murderous mayhem.

That was my deal; but for those of you trying to farm this - depending on your luck - I'd say grab a snack and maybe put on a series.

What I did was: I would only kill all the trash before each of the first bosses in all quarters. The quarter that I'd say takes the longest is definitely the Military quarter, as there's a bottom level where the stables are. Funny enough though; I found more trash drops such as Неизбежное поражение from the undead stable hands.

I hope to whomever is farming this has much greater luck than I did. Happy hunting!

I saw that they removed this from the weapon shop in Legion Dalaran, which was upsetting... but then I found it on a table in the Sanctum of Light. Guess the Silver Hand repossessed the thing.

Had it dropped previously but I was on my priest so a real bummer. Decided to farm this today again on 25M Heroic and it dropped from a bunch of spiders.

PS: i had it set to heroic, but I believe it's only a normal raid.

Just looted this on my Frost Mage, first run through 25man (my mage is a new alt). Looted via the trash before Heigan the Unclean, so it is not dependant on primary stat on the item. Just keep plugging away at it and eventually you will get it. I wasnt actually aware this even existed lol

Dropped for me off either a frenzied bat or mutated grub when I mass-pulled them on my way to Heigan. I was on my SV hunter alt.

I followed the classes up top and got on my vengeance DH, and it dropped for me from the beginning trash in the military quarter not even 5 minutes into my run. Really excited!
