Got this in my weekly mythic box.

Tested it out on some training dummies as a Preservation Evoker. Does not seem to proc off of the fire DoT from Fire Breath, but procs fairly often if I'm spamming Living Flame.

Might be handy with the 4pc Preservation Evoker bonus, shooting instant Living Flames as they stack up.

For hunters this can proc off of Совершенно безопасные ракеты. It is a proc off a proc, so it occurred about once per 2-3 minutes for me.

So it looks like this is on the holy priest loot table, so does holy fire proc it? Because that is the closest I get to a fire spell I know of.

leather wearers can proc it with Пылающий клобук
plate wearers can proc it with Нестабильный пояс ледяного огня
agi/str users can proc it with Одержимый светоч горя
healers can proc it with Раскаленные угли Киракки
tanks can proc it with Украшение пламени
ranged can proc it with Глаз Сковальда

and naturally any class that can proc it with abilities that do fire damage, which is fire, chaos, elemental, flamestrike, frostfire, radiant, shadowflame, spellfire(npc only), volcanic.

feel free to add any other sources that deal fire damage and good luck with the rolls!

from what i can see there's really only 2 rings in the raid so it's on every classes bis for raid drop gear. if you can get high level crafted gear with your two best secondary and don't have a ready supply of fire damage like an evoker brewmaster or fire mage (as examples) it might be more raid friendly to go that route. if your class uses fire as a major part of your rotation then obviously this is an amazing ring though and as one of only 2 rings in the whole of vault your options may or may not be limited. spark of imagination can offset this so keep that in mind also.

Picked this up, planning to combine it with Панцирь для изначального ритуала's Благословение пламенной черепахи for a chance at triggering the absorb shield, since the character I got it on doesn't naturally cause fire damage. Although we do have to consider if it will be worth the trade off vs using one of the other turtle's blessing.

409 ilvl Guardian Druid (530k hp)
Fire damage coming from https://www.wowhead.com/item=193494/flaring-cowl

Flaring Cowl: 415 ilvl
Seal of Filial Duty: 418 ilvl
Tooltip on ring says absorb 52.774dmg
Real proc gives about 65k dmg. It scales with STAMINA
As resto spec i got 58k procs with 306k hp
As guardian spec i got 66k'ish with 530k hp
PPM Is around: 3 wich translates to roughly 200k hp

Tested in 2 M+15 Dungeons, im not a great tank and did medium pulls. This ring Absorbed 5.5mil dmg (11% of my total healing/defensives)

AOE Test
5 min test run
5 Target dummies being Autohit
Ring procced 15 times

Single Target Test
5min test run
1 Target dummy being Autohit
Ring procced 16 times

Also tested together with the healing trinket https://www.wowhead.com/item=193748/kyrakkas-searing-embers
wich also WORKS! altough not so good

Some technical stats since its missing here in the comments if you are wondering if its worth it for a class that can reliabily proc the ring. ((VDH in my case):

Avg of 3 M+ 16 runs

Uptime of ~11%
Amount absorbed ~4M
Self Healing: 11% of total (4.8K HPS vs 9K Consume soul and 4K Frailty)
Tooltop Proc: 52,774
Proc rate: ~ 2.75PPM

Ran with a Unholy DK with Frostfire Belt and his stats were:

Uptime of ~9%
Amount absorbed ~467K
Self Healing: 14% of total
Tooltop Proc: 43,270
Proc rate: ~ 1.1PPM
