This is clearly inspired by the Grey Knights of Warhammer 40,000 -- the tabard bears the symbol of the Chapter. The Order of Embers is "An ancient Kul Tiran order resurrected to battle the threat of witchcraft..." much like how the Grey Knights in 40k fight the daemons of Chaos.

I just hit Exalted at Order of Embers, went to the Quartermaster and he says that I have already learned that appearance.
Is this bound to the tabard of a Horde faction and learned at the same time?

When looking through uncollected tabards in the wardrobe, I did a double-take when seeing what this looked like on a brown-furred female Worgen. I'm assuming that was intentional as a hidden little dirty joke, because that couldn't have been missed by the artists.
