Выбил меч с Барона Ривендера (Стратхольм) на 40овой ран. Меч даёт 8% к скорости бега и 20 хп в секунду. Продать вендору такую вещь рука не поднялась, оставил себе в коллекцию. :)

Сегодня 24.08.2018 трижды подряд выбил этот меч, сперва пошел на маге 2 раза и выбил подряд два меча. Потом сел на вара просто ради интереса пробежать, и на вара тоже выпал! Из 3 забегов - 3 меча. Возможно это баг или еще что-то или мне просто так дико свезло. Если баг попробуйте сходить сами, может и вам выпадет.

ШЛ 9.2 Вот и понерфили. Теперь он дает +12 единиц скорости вместо 8%, что ровняется примерно 0,64% к скорости. Т.е., конечно не барахло, но времени на добычу он точно не стоит. Выходит, что профитнее взять любую зеленую пуху из Bfa с сокетом и вставить туда камень на 3 или 5%. Жаль.

На 20 лвле меч дает 11 к скорости передвижения, что равняется 9,82%. Хил ауры меча можно увеличить с помощью универсальности. Что прискорбно, ауры 2 мечей не стакаются, то есть мучаться и выбивать 2 меча для фвара не имеет смысла.

Correct. No movement speed increases stack, and this gives the 8% just like any other increase. New Final Edit: This stacks starting in 6.0.2, and the speed bonus was increased to 10%.

Also if anybody was wondering, the equip passive of Unholy Aura gives 20 health every 5 seconds.

If you manage to obtain this weapon, consider yourself very lucky. Let me explain why.

This is a snippet from the 1.10 Patch notes:

"... In addition, several epic items, such as Headmaster's Charge and the Runeblade of Baron Rivendare, have had their drop rates significantly increased."

The items buffed were from the following list:

Dragon's Call
Circle of Flame
Ironfoe
Alanna's Embrace (Which possibly did not exist pre-1.10)
Headmaster's Charge
Runeblade of Baron Rivendare
Book of the Dead
Felstriker
Blackblade of Shahram

Wowhead did not exist before 1.10, so numbers had to be gathered from Thottbot and Allakazham. Before 1.10, every item on this list was close to a .1% drop rate. Both websites wiped all collection data clean for these dungeons due to the severe change to the loot. All numbers given (and drop percentages) come from post-1.10 (which is how Wowhead always has been). Since 1.10, every item on this list went from a .1% drop rate to ~1.2-1.5%. This is true for every item listed here, except for the Runeblade of Baron Rivendare. Although it was specifically listed within the patch notes, its drop rate was never changed.

So again, consider yourself lucky if you obtain this item.

Final Edit: Hello patch 4.0.3a! It looks like with Aurius replacing Baron Rivendare, Blizzard finally got around to buffing the drop rate of the Runeblade of Baron Rivendare. Though we only have a fairly small sample size right now (719 kills), it has dropped 13 times, meaning it's close to a 2% drop rate!

So this awesome weapon is finally not so amazingly rare. It just took all the patches in between 1.10->4.0.3a in order for Blizzard to fix it. :P

Just wanted to know if this Blade STILL drops... I have never seen it nore has any of my friends. Im after if for my Pally. I ran this place once on my warrior last night, which was the first run I had done since 3.0.2 hit (bladestorming everything to death ftw!). To my surprise this sword dropped. Kept it for the looks :)

Ran stratholme again this morning on my paladin this time, being the second run since the patch, and it dropped again! Two runeblades in as many runs. But not a mount in sight :@

I just got the blade a few minutes ago. I am a level 80 ret pally and the movement speed doesnt do anything when you are specced for +15% increase in speed. I'm over 275 runs and still havent gotten the mount...

OK....rant done. It's pretty sweet and for a long time before BC came out, i did want one for my Undead war....sadly it didnt happen.

I still say they need to give DK's a proper Unholy aura. Restore 1% of hp every 10 secs to all party members in range and increase movement speed by 16%. Non-stacking of course. And leave the self-effect the same as now.

After 124 recorded Baron kills (not counting the ones before Achievements were implemented) the sword finally dropped. Still yet to see the Reigns however. Oh well farming Strat gives about 45 gold a run just killing mini bosses and a-bombs so its not a bad way to make cash either.

I love this model :D Too bad they don't use it more often like they do with other models hehe, be cool if this or something similar was an heirloom.

Edit: I do agree in a way with the people below, and because of the recent overuse of the sword with Death Knight NPCs, Death Knight starting weapons, and all around overuse, I kind of lost the love I had for the sword. I used to have it Pre-BC (When it was actually -quite- decent) on my main. Once I made a Death Knight and I got the same sword after the first, second quest, I was like "Ugh, oh, well, alright, cool?" then I saw an NPC right next to me, same one. "Uhm..." Point being, I agree, kind of switched sides here, but, they kind of took the sword a bit far, I only wanted to have another one say from some epic and hard raid to drop :X

Bare in mind that unlike the other epics which dropped from vanilla bosses, this one actually remains useable/useful right up to level 80 and probably 85 due to the movement speed buff. You can switch it out for your proper weapon anytime you like, and this will give you a movement speed buff anytime that you're not attacking something, so it frees up enchants/talents which would normally give you this speed.

On the flip side, this isn't really intended to be a good combat weapon for warriors, death knights and paladins. While the weapon speed is nice, the proc doesn't actually provide any dps boost and it has no stats on it.

In conclusion, unlike the other epics which had their drop rates buffed to make them remotely obtainable for twinks (the only people who could get practical use out of them) , this one is useful for anybody who gets it that can use it, regardless of level.

Got this sword on my priest while farming the baron mount. this sword dropped on my 2nd kill. I am now up to my 80th Baron kill and still no mount!

I ended up selling the sword to a vendor. shame really.

The life regen upon equiping seems to be 30hp5 increased by ~100% of your spellpower
On my ret pala it's ticking well over 1.5k hp every 5 seconds, which makes it awesome for passive healing, should you ever need that

327 runs, 2 mounts and finally got my Runeblade... Here is what I have to say, first off, even though Wowhead has an icon for Unholy Aura, nothing shows up on your in-game tooltip when the weapon is equipped :(. This was confirmed by a GM to be normal. Also, because I am a Death Knight the GM told me this does not stack with Unholy Presence, I assume this is because UP increases my speed by 15% already, and finally speed increase does not work while mounted, only on foot.

Got my sword this morning on run number 41, which means I no longer have to keep coming back to Stratholme. I don't care about the mount, I've never been a fan of dead-ish things.

This blade looks spectacular on my hunter, especially with a set of Devout Vestments for an around-the-town outfit.

Gondria pet + runeblade + Devout Vestments + walking instead of running through town = win.

Fascinatingly enough, tonight on my first two of four daily mount runs, something very interesting happened. The screenshots with the times/date should make it obvious enough, I don't even want to math out the odds. Yet, still no mount.

But you, , you have unbridled strength within your soul. That much, I know to be true. You have fought tirelessly and doubtlessly for your people in , and now you are their king of heroes. I actually came up with this all of the top of my head after reading this comment. I know some of the details are untrue, however, this is an intentional misinformation. Although, I'm quite sure that The Lich King is able to manipulate a person's desires and doubts, i.e. Arthas, so I doubt that couldn't apply to "minor" death knights.

You're right, at the moment there is no runspeed or hp5 bonus from this item despite what the weapon says.

They should just remove the current equip effect, add a little bit of haste, and have a chance to steal life on hit.

Has this item been massively buffed of late?

I got this in an LFD group on my pally. I never really used it because I'm prot almost all the time, but I wanted to catch up to a friend's leveling toon, so I went and did some questing. After a while I noticed my health was never dipping below 90%. I thought that was odd, but let it go. Tonight I took some heavy damage in the mines in Blasted Lands and *bang* I was back to full health in a few seconds as I turned in the quest. I'm a bit out of touch with Ret mechanics, so I thought there was some passive self-healing that was going on, but that seemed a bit unbalanced...

So tonight, I checked and indeed, it's the sword. Since it has no STA, it was easy to test. I put on my highest STA gearset (pre-TBC, mind you) which got me up to 4131 health. Naked, I'm at 2361. Taking off all of that gear and putting it on with the sword equipped and without it, I was able to generate the following numbers:

With sword: 1770/26sec = 68.1 health/sec
Without sword (empty slot): 1770/84sec = 21.1 health/sec

So, the sword is giving me around 50 health per second (my stopwatch skills notwithstanding). That's quite a lot more than the 20 per 5 that was quoted above! It's going to be hard to give this thing up in Outland... sigh. But I have to wonder. What does that scale with? Anyone have one of these at max level that can test to see if it scales at all, or do you see around 50h/s?

I have been farming the mount for 5 days and have done 5 runs an hour atleast 10 hours a day and have got this sword 5 times and no mount :(

With transmogrification in 4.3 this is i think the only "Runeblade" model a non-deathknight can get. And it does look pretty damn sweet, might bring back the value of this rare weapon to collectors who seek to use this for an awesome model.

I have to assume that the drop rate has increased recently. I have done over 200 farm runs for the mount and never saw this item drop.. until yesterday. And now I have gotten it three more times within my last 10 runs!

Dropped for me on the 39th run for my mount (patch 4.2).

One thing to notice thou, apparently it doesn't longer give the Unholy Aura Buff.
Ill send a ticket and edit with the answer.

EDIT: I talked to a GM, and i wasnt aware that the Runeblade speed buff doesnt stack with the speed buff from the boot enchants. Silly me!

TL;DR: May be good for a 49 twink warrior/pally although the lack of stats makes it a tough sell compared to the heirloom 2-hand axe. It's still better than lots of other choices in the bracket though.

The level requirement for this weapon has been changed from 58 (if I remember correctly) to 48 in Cataclysm. It is now a viable option for a 49 twink warrior/ret paladin.

It is clearly better than one of the usual suspects, Kang the Decapitator, unless you like the proc better than an additional 14 points of top-end. (Arms Warriors no longer have an Axe Specialization to worry about losing.)

The other options are the level 49 version of Bloodied Arcanite Reaper and Executioner's Cleaver.

At 49, the Bloodied Arcanite Reaper does 139-209 damage (46.0 dps) and gives 16 Strength, 24 Stamina, and 16 crit. Let's do a number crunch: Both of these axes have a 3.8 speed, meaning that in order to increase the weapon damage (and, therefore, top-end damage) by 1 point, you need an additional (14/3.8) or about 3.68 attack power. The Reaper gives 32 AP, and 32/3.68 is about 8.7 -- call it 9. This effectively gives it a damage range of 148-218, which for all intents and purposes is the same as the Runeblade.

Doing the same math for the Cleaver we see that its 23 strength = 46 attack power or 12.5 damage range points (call it 13). Its damage range is therefore 140-205 -- not quite in the same league as the other two candidates (though better, as many suspected, than poor Kang).

This doesn't take into account the other stats on these weapons. Also, keep in mind that Blessing of Kings/Mark of the Wild will exacerbate the lack of stats on the Runeblade. However, it's worth noting that the 8% speed increase might come in handy for a Warrior who's been making do with Boar's Speed on his boots rather than Fortitude or Surefooted (the speed boosts don't stack). The slightly faster weapon speed can't be disregarded either -- your Mortal Strike/Crusader Strike isn't always going to be off cooldown, and assuming you can stay in melee range, those white hits do add up.

Final verdict: What the heck, if it drops while you're trying to get the mount for your twink (or whatever), why not give it a try? You probably already have a Reaper against which to compare it. See which you prefer. But is it worth farming for? Nah.

I had this baby drop during a farm for Baron's Deathcharger, as a shaman i couldn't use it, although i kept as a trophy in my bank. However, if anybody has had this drop, the purple writing really get's you're heart going until you realise that it isn't what you wanted! It's definately worth the farm though! Good luck!

After 110 kills of the Baron, and the Mount dropping THREE times, this sword finally dropped for me. I was seriously starting to think it was removed from the loot table or I was doing something wrong. I'm glad that neither was the case.

Farming off and on for close to 2 months, looting everything as I go, it was quite the adventure and easily the toughest grind I have embarked on yet. Sure I could have just skipped looting stuff and the process would have been a lot faster, but you know what, I made a good amount of money from grinding this place.

There are a lot of desirable items that drop in here, Transmog items near the top of that list. Massacre sword, Conk Hammer, Emerald Shield and various sets of Lord's Armor, Field Plate, Hero's Armor, Blackforge Mail are making me a good amount of money in the AH. I also came across epics like Kang the Decapitator, Helm of Narv, and hard to come by recipes like Mithril Spurs, Dawnbringer Shoulders, Invisibility Potion, and Enchant gloves: Riding Skill. Those last 3 sell for big gold. I would estimate that I have made about 10-15K gold from this grind. and that's not including selling the epics and recipes above, as i'm waiting to get big bids for those items.

A few tips if you embark on the grind for the sword or (more likely) the mount:

1. don't disenchant any of the boss drops. they yield small brilliant shards which are virtually worthless. keep those blues and sell them for 2-4g each.

2. disenchant all undesirable greens. they yield eternal/nether essence which is a big seller in the AH, and illusion/dream dust which isn't bad either.

3. do the crypt fiend boss in the bottom left corner 1st and then double back and do the other bosses. this way you don't go through the gate that brings the bugs; because it is annoying killing the bugs and waiting for the gate to reopen.

4. clear only what you need to, which are the bosses and the mobs inside the ziggurats so that you can get through the final gate.

5. there are 4 possible chests that spawn in various spots, sure helps to be a rogue (or blacksmith) so you can open the locked ones. It's well worth it to keep your eye out for them because that's where I got some of my best drops.

6. loot everything (including the non elites in the ziggurats) and have large, empty bags. Normally I was able to do 4-5 runs before I had to sell, mail, reset, and repeat. I set my hearth to Light's Hope Chapel which is a short flight away. Alternatively you can run out and fly to the nearest tower to the west (out of the instance and to the left) and sell items there, but there is no mailbox. I was constantly mailing away the desirable BOE greens/blues and materials/consumables like Dark Runes, Essence of Undeath, Ichor of Undeath, Mana potions.

7. on the trip back (slight detour) from LHC, there are some possible chest spaws. In Noxious Glade inside the large ziggurat and in Northdale inside the houses, including the destroyed ones. These chests are really nice because they usually contain a blue item. Northdale also has a rare spawn that gives Argent Crusade Rep when defeated.

8. if you are running a lowbie/alt, you can park it inside the ziggurat of the Crypt Fiend boss, which is close enough to get the loot from the Baron (just set master loot so you don't have to run the alt there). Doing it this way you can avoid clearing most of the trash, and if you can stealth you can avoid killing pretty much all of it, except for the first little run to the 1st boss so the alt can get there. The Crypt Fiend boss also sometimes drops true (untradeable) BOP greens that are quite powerful, a cool little toy (3 charge eye of Kilrog thingy) as well as the Monstrous Egg for the Darkmoon Faire quest.

9. BE PATIENT.

I was pretty lucky to have this drop my second run when leveling my monk hrough dungeon finder, however considering 3 of us were monks, only the hunter could use it. I was a bit shocked for it to drop though.

I have been playing since beta and easily killed the Baron a good 500 times before seeing this drop last week. I obtained the Deathcharger's Reins on Christmas day 4 years ago! Hurray!

Well anyways this dropped while I was leveling an orc warlock and no one in the group could use it. Just before I was about to click greed like everyone else I realized that it might work with the glyph of felguard... lo and behold it does so I needed and now I am running around with a Wrathguard who is using it.

Even works for rp purposes which is kind of fun.

I figured it was a neat way of using the sword and since no one else could even equip it it didn't seem like I was taking it from someone.

Does anyone know if the passive effect from this sword is still active in this most recent patch? I had it drop recently for my 49 paladin and I've noticed that it not only doesn't give me an increase in movement speed, but also the health regeneration does not occur either. Is anyone else having the same problem with it as I am?

Dropped for me today. Sadly it's the same model as the runeblade from DK starter zone, so it's not much use, even for transmog. Still nice to have an epic drop, my very first one :)

The equip effects do NOT work at level 48/49 but do work at 50 plus. This is because the equip effect Unholy Aura requires level 50.

Remeber getting this on my pally in pre-tbc.
Enchanted it with icy weapon, and it looked so badass with that enchant, was a pretty good enchant for PvP too I'd say :P

I had the level 60 version of this, but it seems they changed the level requirement to 48.

That was my proof I had it before Cataclysm and they took it away :(

Actually, while other movement speed buffs seem to have been nerfed, this and Скорость (but none of the other boot enchants with stats as well) actually appears to be untouched, and will boost your speed by another 10% still.
Hooray for a more transparent, intuitive movement speed bonus system.

Got this first run through! My heart jumped cause i thought it was the mount. That freaking thing will not drop for me. Anybody else bothered by the fact that this looks exactly the same as Runed Soulblade a sword all Deathknights get? makes it seem less special.

Can a Fury Warrior with 2 of these confirm that the movement speed buff is still stacking - showing 120% with cloak enchant and 1 sword, I tested with the walking stick and the meta helm, both those do not stack with minor run speed enchant

I have been using this sword almost permanently on my Death Knight for a while now. With Mark of Supreme Doom, Runeblade of Baron Rivendare, Minor Speed on boots, Speed Enchant on Cloak, Unholy Presence, and the passive from Death's Advance talent I have 167% base movement speed That bumps up to 197% every 30sec when I use Death's Advance active ability.

If you guys want a set up for farming old dungeons, this is the way to go if you're not a rogue / druid.

I'm ~60 runs in, got 2 mounts, still no sword...

Ironically, I want it to speed up my runs through old dungeons -.-

I have 1 tip: I'm max level so about 2/3 of the way through the dungeon I queue for an arena. That way when I kill rivendare, the arena usually pops pretty soon and I don't have to run all the way out again (prevents 100% boredom from setting in).

This was buffed in 7.3 And now has actual stats as well as a fixed heal it dose instead of 1% of your HP.
*edit* Now in 7.3.5, because of the new zone scaling, if you were like me and holding onto this for the 10% run speed buff, you can get a better version now with a micro amount of bonus stats, if you really care about that sort of thing like I do that is. I laughed my ass off and made a joke to a friend that my sprint sword is no longer BiS because I have a lower lvl version. On the better versions it even heals you for more, (by like 50 or something.)

edit2 The speed buff from this stacks with Windwalk enchant from cata for a total of 20% run speed when it procs. on top of my nelf racial of +2% and anything else I have that buffs my speed. If you are getting this weapon for the speed, put that on it as well.

Blizzard seem to have recently changed some low level dungeons to spec-based personal loot when you're running them on a 110, so this sword has a much higher drop rate than it has had historically. Running it on an arms warrior I saw 4 drops in 10 runs, and other comments here seem to confirm this change. Alternatively if it cannot drop for your spec in the loot journal then you will never see it drop, so don't waste time farming for it.

You know that feeling when you've been farming something for years and you finally see purple? I just ran Stratholme 10 times on my warrior. On the 9th run, I saw not only 1 purple drop but 2. I thought maybe I got both the mount and sword on the same run. Nope. Two of the sword. While I was after the sword, too, that was cruel to get 2 of it at the same time.

With the new "Legacy Loot System" it appears that this item has a similar drop chance as the other items (except the Mount) of Rivendare.
I received 8 of them in the last ~30 runs

Hey guys. Done 224 runs now. got 26 runeblades so far, no mount. The drop rate for the weapon has got to be around 10% now or so. Even got 2 of them from 1 loot of the boss once.

Still drops in BfA 8.2. The movement speed is a nice stacking 10% (e.g. 120% base speed + 10% from sword = 130%). Now I want another one to drop for my fury warrior.

Seen this sword several times in 10 runs, drop rate is far better than 3% - that must be factoring in data from years past (I ran this dungeon 100s of times in vanilla and never saw this sword then). Building a "dungeon speed walking" set for my warrior to farm weapon mogs since she can equip most of them, and this sword will greatly help.

The horse is as rare as ever, 114 runs and nothing so far.

Though I can't find any information on it in recent hotfixes, blue text, patch notes or simple google searches, it does now appear that Blizzard has nerfed the runeblade to have its equip effects be capped at level 49. I'm fairly certain it still gave me +10% movement speed yesterday, so I guess it was changed in the November 30th hotfixes and wasn't documented. Heartbreaking.

As of 01 December Speed increase no longer working on Max level characters. Had this in my speed set for years and lost 10% speed when I logged in this morning.

10% movement speed increase will only work on a character with a max level of 50.

I see a lot of comments talking about fury warrior's wielding this and the speed boost not stacking, but absolutely nothing mentioning or refering as to whether or not the healing bonus stacks. Nor does there appear to be any reference to this topic anywhere else on the internet.

Does a Fury warrior wielding two of these get the healing twice?

Shadowlands Ret Paladin Speed Gear

This expansion is LOW on guaranteed + speed items, but thankfully retains some speed gems and enchants from previous expansions, namely the Azerite Trait Быстроход. If you're looking to farm a +speed set, follow this rule: If you see anything with +speed on it, take it. If you see it in your weekly vault, take it, even over dps upgrades. +speed items will last you multiple patches and possibly expansions. The weekly vault seems to have a higher chance to give tertiary stats, so keep an eye on it.

Prior to SL, Longstrider gave 6-9% movement speed per trait. Now due to reduced secondary stats it's about 3%. Longstrider may get stronger as stats inflate over the expansion. I would say it's about equivalent to +30 speed or so. Keep in mind that +30 speed is about 3% move speed, give or take. If you're strating out on makinga set, it may be a good idea to use item restoration and get some of those Azerite armor pieces with Longstrider back.

If you have a stash of Радужная манажемчужина, Benthic items are still a good source to get some guaranteed +speed items, albeit only about +10 speed (~1% movespeed) per item. Benthic shoulders are the only Benthic Azerite Armor with Longstrider.

Itemslot List:
Head - Azerite Armor with Longstrider Azerite Trait OR any helm with +speed (testing opportunity: gem slot with Стремительный изначальный алмаз?)
Neck - Heart of Azeroth OR Any neck with +speed IF AND ONLY IF Head, Shoulder, and Chest are NOT Azerite.
Shoulder - Azerite Armor with Longstrider Azerite Trait OR any shoulder with +speed
Back - Чары для плаща – повышенная скорость enchanted on any cape, current SL cape with +speed preferred
Chest - Azerite Armor with Longstrider Azerite Trait OR any chest with +speed
Wrist - Benthic bracers (guaranteed +speed if you have the primastics), OR any wrist with +speed
Gloves - Benthic gloves (guaranteed +speed if you have the primastics), OR any glove with +speed
Waist - Benthic belt (guaranteed +speed if you have the primastics), OR any belt with +speed
Legs - Benthic pants (guaranteed +speed if you have the primastics), OR any legs with +speed
Feet - Any boots with less than 50 ilvl, enchanted with Скорость. This enchant is a 10% movespeed by itself.
Ring1* - Any ring with +speed
Ring2* - Any ring with +speed
Trinket1 - Any trinket with +speed, Гудящая чешуйка черного дракона is decent by itself though.
Trinket2 - Any trinket with +speed, Крыло тихоступа is decent as well since the on-use gives +speed.
Weapon - Рунический клинок барона Ривендера. 10% movespeed by itself

* You will need at least TWO gemslots in any of the above items, this is to insert Охватывающий виридий and Резвый провидческий агат. These two gems are 3% and 5% movespeed, stacking to 8%. I prefer to use rings as the gemslot items. Rings seem to commonly get a gemslot or have the ability to have one added. Necks as well.

If you have a speed set and are replacing something old with a current SL items, reminder that +30 speed is about 3% move speed, give or take.

I'm currently at +152% movespeed AS A RET without procs and running Azerite gear, 3 . Legacy content is MUCH faster and easier to clear. I'll be adding another 3% speed to that next week since I got a ring with +speed but no gemslot, will be getting Venari slot and putting a gem into it to replace a BFA non +speed ring that just has a gemslot in it (from Wrathion socket).

The move speed appears to no longer stack if you have a Fury warrior dual wielding them. Just got 2 to drop in a row today (4/21/2021) on my speed warrior at level 50 and only get an extra 10% regardless of whether I wield 1 or 2. So looks like the hotfix only addressed the internal level cap issue. Ah well, will still hang onto the extra just in case.

Looks to have been nerfed to only increase speed by 16 and regen 333 health every 5 seconds (333 health ~ 1% health? The number changes when I change my stamina so it looks to be tied to my max HP), at the launch of Shadowlands patch 9.1

As of 9.1 it appears that Blizzard has nerfed the speed increase from a flat 10% to 13 speed. I guess this item was too fun/useful. It's been good all of these years on my fury warrior. In a way I can see why they removed this as it was powerful, but it is such a major bummer and feels really bad at the same time. Hard to believe they would let it ride all these years, then suddenly it's magically too OP and needs to go.

RIP Runeblade of Rivendare, you will be missed.

As of 9.1 the 10% base movement speed increase is now just a flat speed stat increase which is laughably negligible by comparison.

This is the second time in Shadowlands this item was changed and neither time was it listed in the patch notes, pretty slimy imo.

At lvl 50 +13 speed stat is 4.26% speed, the +16 speed version will give about 5.25% if my math is right. Using chromie time, you can acquire a ilvl 58 version of the sword with +29 speed. Again, the math says that is about 9.5% speed, how ever you have to be lower than lvl 50 to use chromie, so max would be 49 and therefore the math is slightly off for 49 twinks. Because it gives stat now it MAY stack for fury warriors however with the GCD being added to weapons now for switching them mid combat it is not that great to switch to 2 of these mid combat (or switching back) As that will take a whopping 3 sec of down time to equip 2 of these, and another 3sec to switch back to your real weps. The windwalk enchant from cata that procs 10% speed still works however, still giving the 10% it use to.

Additionally, you need to be a minimum of 21 to use this, so F2P/Vet twinks can not get the +13 speed off it, which I assume would actually be way more than 10% for them. I had farmed this sword up on ALL my toons that could equip it, during BFA. Hunter, palli, DK, warrior got 2 of them. Now they are all not even worth the bag space. Have not checked the Walking Stick yet but judging by wowhead's links here on the effect it seems it still works maybe?

*edit* Just tested the stick on PTR, it gives 10% run speed right now and is way easier to get, as well as usable by more classes.
