I was not able to use the Scouting map and get this quest, anyone else? I choose Voidstorm last...

Appears this might be one of those quests you need to party sync for, as it's normally for alts?

if anyone else has an alt, see if you can do this instead of deepening shadows -> you know this evil? -> rising storm

Or if you party sync, see if it's available.

If you've missed this breadcrumb on your main, Party sync doesnt seem to work for picking it up, I could see the quest, but couldn't accept it. To get this one done I did the campaign skip on an alt and chose the voidstorm quest first. It pops up on an 80 if you've already completed the campaign on another character.

If you can't get this quest, check and see if you completed the Magister's Terrace dungeon. That opens up this quest. I completed Sojourner for all zones and still couldn't get this quest, then finally noticed the dungeon I hadn't done on the island I never go to. I looked everywhere for how to get to this zone and this was something no one had mentioned.

If you can't see Turalyon to join Story Mode you have three solutions:
1.) Do the Voidstorm campaign quest that has you complete the Magisters Terrace dungeon.
2.) Join a group with someone that CAN see the NPC and have them Q for it. They can leave after you join the raid.
3.) Go to the Silvermoon inn(Wayfarers Rest) and talk to Soridormi(she's lounging on a couch reading a book). She will let you skip the Midnight campaign IF you already did it on a different character, thus revealing Turalyon by the Voidspire summoning stone.

On my first playthrough, the scouting map did not offer me Voidstorm, so I could only progress by accepting Deepening Shadows.
On my second playthrough, however, Voidstorm was available from the scouting map.

You need to do the main quest in every zone, and Arator's Journey, on a single character before you can continue to this.

I had to do the Magister Terrace dungeon, had forgot to do that after I picked up the quest

Speak with Magister Umbric in the Sanctum of Light in Silvermoon.

Description

Magister Umbric has a plan to infiltrate the Voidstorm and take the fight to the Devouring Host directly. This will be no easy task, and he is assembling a small but powerful team to strike at the enemy's heart.
