I hope this will be different when Patch 11.1 is launched, but during PTR testing it was not very obvious how to complete this Weekly.

While you can do Shipping & Handling jobs (getting random delivery and other jobs from Nanny Talullah in Undermine) whenever you start them with the Start Job button in your G-99 Breakneck, "Surge Pricing" will only be active for 10 minutes every hour at the half-hour. During that time frame, you will get improved rewards for S&H jobs, and all jobs completed by players will count towards a progress bar on top of your screen.

At certain thresholds ( 10 | 50 | 150 ) on the bar, players who have at least completed one job on the way to the next threshold will receive a reward container, and getting one of these Surge Pricing rewards ( Socially Expected Tip Chest | Generous Tip Chest | Extravagant Tip Chest ) was required to get credit for this Weekly Quest. The bar will be reset for the next hour. (But I don't know when exactly because several times people continued with jobs when the bar was gone, and it still counted hiddenly and gave me the next reward.)

After event surge pricing ended randomly was just keeping completing jobs and randomly I believe after ~5 minutes after event was finished (last ~5 minutes of event I didn't see a progress bar in the top so used quest log tab to check if even is still active.

Received Extravagant Tip Chest in my bags.
It contained 159gold 58 silver, 15xResonance Crystals, 2xWeathered Undermine Crest

The weekly quest is so poorly designed. You only get credit if you completed a job AND get a box for it. I was in the middle of doing the last epic one and suddenly the event disappeared and no credit for weekly. My suggestion would be something like complete 3 jobs during surge. Receiving credit only when you are in the event at a certain time when the box treshold is completed is just stupid.

I was on during the middle of the day, running jobs for Nanny Talullah, I had a couple of jobs done when the surge "tip bar" appeared. The "tip" bar only seemed to be adding jobs when I personally did a job and I did not get 10 jobs done before the event ended.

However, when I logged in during the early evening when the server was busier I saw lots of people doing jobs and the tip bar filled up from 0 to 50+ relatively quickly. I did about 4 or 5 jobs in that time. So I suggest waiting until a busy time for your server before trying to run jobs to finish up this quest so that other people completing jobs can help to fill up the bar.

When the event ended I got the "socially accepted tip chest" for 10 jobs and the "Generous tip chest" for 50 jobs and the quest completed.

FYI you cannot progress any of the shipping and handling while in a raid group. I.E. max of 5 in a group if grouping up.

Completing this seems to be contingent upon getting the tip box.

One time I did 5 jobs but apparently nobody else was doing it so never got a tip box. Another time I did just 1 job and did get the tip box since others were also doing it and this quest completed.

Surge Pricing is a zone event that happens every hour on the half hour (eg. 12:30, 1:30, etc.). During this time you can mount up on your Breakneck and hit 5 (default keybind) to start jobs and follow the arrow on your head to do little quests. You only need to do 1 job to complete the quest, but you can do more jobs to get better rewards from the event.

This quest is so stupid. Zone in after the first 10 jobs are completed, so people get their chest and "credit" for the quest. the next milestone to get a chest is 50 jobs. How the actual F am I supposed to get to that BY MYSELF for this quest to register as "complete"? I did my 10 jobs. Give me MY credit for the weekly. Another %^&*!ic quest mechanic done by Blizz idiots.

This wouldn't give me credit because there are not enough people in the zone doing the event. I've been there since almost the beginning, but we never made it to the blue chest. So, no credit. Good luck on a low pop server during non-peak times, I guess.

Today the job streak seems broken as it is impossible to deliver packages (and there are never jobs to collect them either).

If you're wondering why you can't complete this quest during a surge pricing event, it's because you cannot get credit if you have not earned a chest during the event even if you've actively participated in it.

Also, the event does not consider that you have participated unless you complete at least 1 task before a chest is awarded. Which means if you're late to the event and the first 2 chests have already been awarded, you have zero chance of being able to complete this quest since not enough people participate in the event anymore to fill the bar all the way to the 3rd chest reward. This is due to the brain-dead folks over at Blizz HQ not scaling the event to the number of players participating in it. A mistake Blizz repeatedly make for all open world events.

~~We've also been unable to pickup any packages during surge pricing for weeks due to a bug. Did blizz just completely abandon the Undermine or what?~~

Edit: Looks like they've finally fixed the no pickup package bug. So that's nice.

A month later and they still didn't fixed this quest. Make sure to show up very earlier to get the first box.

So the event is supposed to start at every 30min mark and it starts at 0/10? I alt-tabbed out of the game at 22h27, back at 22h32 and it was already at 0/150 for the green chest. Is that... right? Basically impossible to complete :(

I, like a few others in the more recent comments, am unable to finish this quest. I've done multiple jobs during at least 3 surge pricing events, but haven't been able to earn a chest in any of them. This game is legitimately starting to feel like a job with a very tone deaf manager.

Does this give you rep for the Cartels of Undermine rep AND your assigned cartel of the week (i.e. steamwheedle, venture, blackwater), or only the overall Cartel rep?

How the heck do you complete this? I show up at x:30, do 10 side jobs during the 10-13 minutes, and still don't have it completed.

Don't know if it's lag or a bug, but this morning I participated in this event, but did not get credit for completion when the green chest part was completed. Not only no credit, but no chest either. I was active the entire time, doing the tasks, but nothing. I ended up in a TW dungeon, so I missed the blue chest. The next hour, I once again didn't get credit for completion on green, nor did I get the green chest. I did however get the blue reward and completion.

It is not bugged, but it works differently, you get the credit when you get the box from the event (green box, blue, or epic)

So yeah you need the tip box from the community bar (server participation) to meet the criteria for this quest which is rewarded for the first 10 jobs completed across all players participating in surge pricing for the first box, 50 for the second, and over a 100 jobs for the last box. If there are many players box 1 can be completed in less than a minute. Thankfully post TWW this can be done solo for those of us that are still trapped in the Undermine next expac.

Assume you need to be there several minutes before the event to get credit for the weekly quest.

What fixed the quest for me was clocking out while in the G-99 Breakneck after I took part in the Surge Pricing event and got a reward chest.

This is likely obvious to some, but posting in case others are curious during the Winds of Mysterious Fortune event:

If you have completed these weekly quests on one character, alts will not receive the reputation for completing as well. If you're looking for a way to grind Miscellaneous Mechanica during this event, I've found the "easiest" way is through running scraps for Market Research and buying Darkfuse rep from the vendor.

It's also worth noting that every alt get's their own fresh C.H.E.T.T. List which can be completed and turned into the respective cartel quartermaster for rep that will be buffed.
